The wild animal warning post and the echo-bridge on the road are widely used as a popular roadkill prevention system. The warning post shows a one way warning message to drivers and is not effective to prevent animals from being killed. In the case of echo-bridge, the construction cost is very high such that we could not build sufficient number of the echo bridges on the road. Therefore, we have proposed a new roadkill prevention system which is designed and implemented to warn both of drivers and animals. This system is composed with sensor, speaker, web server, and navigation system and the software is designed to use web services on the web under the. Net environment.

In this study, we make a study on a system to determine a person's sitting posture by measuring the distribution of pressure in the floor of a chair or in a cushion using pressure sensors. If the wrong sitting posture is detected, a warning message is given through the vibration motor in real time to correct the imbalance of the wrong habits and posture, and prevent Bulging disc or Herniated disc.

각종 자연적 사회적 재난 위험의 증가와 함께 국내에서도 선진국과 같은 대국민 경보 전달체계의 정비가 진행중이다. 본 연구는 경보 전달 체계에 대한 시민들의 인식 실태를 조사 분석하고, 시민들의 인식을 바탕으로 한 시스템 개선 방향점을 찾아보고자 했다. 조사 결과에 의하면 현재 시민들의 경보 전달에 관한 인식은 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이런 경보 전달의 문제를 해결하는 시스템적 방법으로는 도심형의 야외 디지털 전달체계와 구내방송을 활용한 건물내 전달 체계 개선이 필요한 것으로 파악되었다. 또 한편으로는 경보 상황에서 사람들의 실질적 대응 행동 유발의 전략적 사회 맥락을 제공하는 연구가 필요하다는 것이 나타났다. 예를 들어 왜 사람들은 실제 경보 메시지를 받으면 방송에 주목하게 되는지, 또 그런 시민에게 어떤 식으로 대응 행동 가이드를 제공할지가 앞으로의 과제로 부각되었다.

This paper determines if mandated alcohol health information labelling could be an obstacle to international trade by discussing international trade rules affecting member nations. WTO members could use alcohol labelling rules to protect human health, reduce the consumption of alcohol and provide product information. When a member uses alcohol labelling as a technical regulation or standard, it should comply with TBT Articles 2.2 and 2.4. If a member uses some specific warning messages for their objectives, it should be considered the contribution of the measure, trade restrictiveness, and alternatives. If WTO members want to employ their own alcohol labelling schemes for addressing carcinogenicity, intoxicating effects, dependence potential, effects on children, adolescents and pregnancy, it could be a technical barrier and also create adverse effects on international trade. Therefore, the harms of alcohol are supported by scientific evidence, and for this reason, the international harmonization for alcohol labelling should be discussed openly to prevent negative effects on trade.

The purpose of this study was to examine the economic feasibility of providing services according to the nationwide expansion of early warning services. The net present value method, one of the cost-benefit analysis methods, was applied to the analysis. As a benefit item that constituted the net present value, the damage reduction amount using crop insurance data and the willingness to pay for the use of early warning services were used. The cost items included system construction and maintenance costs, and text transmission costs. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the nationwide expansion of early warning services had economic feasibility, and its economic effect varied depending on the level of text message use (10 % to 40 %, 10 %p interval) of participating farmers. In the future, the economic effect of early warning services is expected to increase further due to the increase in the number of farmers participating in early warning services and the increase in crop damage caused by climate change. It is necessary to further enhance the economic effect of early warning services by actively utilizing information delivery means through apps or the web as well as text messages.

According to growing the leisure boat market, safety-related and weather information have been required by different users with different electronic devices. NAVTEX messages transmitting worldwide from local stations are a kind of useful service, even for non mandatory carriage requirement vessel, such as small or fishing vessels. However, it is not easy for all users to recognize intuitively. This paper is to implement the NAVTEX message on tablet PC, indicating warning positions of message on Android-based google map.

Recently, each country should operates a integrated disaster safety management system in order to reduce the damage, such as the world-natural disasters. In particular, research on digital signage use has been mad e by a method for transmitting a disaster warning message. In this paper, we tried to examine the security requirements that are required by the disaster safety netwo rk by looking at the digital signage concept and disaster safety management system. Also, in order to be tra nsmitted to the safe digital signage terminal a common alarm message in the disaster safety services using d igital signage, we propose a protocol that uses a public key authentication mechanism. The proposed protocol is to be safely displayed a common alarm message to the appropriate area.

Recently, fire monitoring application systems have been an active research area due to the safety of industries, historical monuments and so on. The fire monitoring application systems can reduce the damage of properties by providing earlier warning for possible fire situation. However, the existing systems have a drawback that they detect fire with delay due to their uniform epoch in fire detection algorithm. Moreover, they do not provide user-friendly graphical user interfaces in their fire monitoring systems. To resolve the problems, First, we propose a new fire detection algorithm (Early Fire Detection Fire Algorithm) which uses the distribution of sensing data for early fire detection. Our fire detection algorithm is better in terms of fire detection time than the existing work because it can set a start time of fire detection epoch dynamically based on data distribution. Second, we develop a fire monitoring application system which provides users with both a user-friendly graphical user interface and a fire alarm message when fire occurs. Finally, we show from our experiment that our developed system is effectively used for early fire warning in a variety of fire situations.

Recently, there have been numerous issues about password breaches and it is becoming important for the users to manage their passwords. In practice, the online service provider are asking the online users to change their passwords periodically. However, majority of the users are not changing their passwords regularly, and this can increase the risk of password breach. The purpose of this study is to investigate whether 'fear appeals' and 'message framing' enhance the behavior of changing passwords by the online users. Furthermore, we identify the mechanism on how the behavior of changing passwords is enabled using protection motivation theory. The results of an online experiment show that the online users who are exposed to 'fear appeals' perceived a more vulnerability and severity of password breaches, which in turn, increased the intention of changing their password. In addition, we found that perceived severity of password breaches affect fear positively. Moreover, we found that fear has significant impact on the willingness of changing passwords. Finally, Message framing plays a moderating role between fear and change intentions. That is, in a situation where 'fear appeal' is presented, it means that 'gain framing' is more effective than 'loss framing' These findings suggest that the online service providers may need to use 'fear appeals' to the online users. Security managers can address issues related to the password breaches by carefully designing 'fear appeals'.
