  • World Wide Web(WWW) 데이터가 폭발적으로 증가하고 있는 시점에서, WWW의 데이터로부터 유용한 정보를 찾아내고 분석하는 일이 필요해졌다. 또한 WWW의 데이터만으로는 얻을 수 없는 기업의 의사결정을 위한 정보를 얻기 위해, 웹 페이지 접근 기록에서 얻어진 웹 로그기록들과 기업의 판매 트랜잭션 데이터베이스, 광고 데이터베이스 그리고 고객 정보를 통합하여 데이터 웨어하우스를 구축한다. 이러한 과정은 기업활동의 결과로 축적된 데이터 자원과 WWW의 데이터를 통합하여 체계적인 정보기반을 구축하고, 이러한 자원을 전략적으로 재활용하는 것이 목적이다. 본 논문에서는 WWW의 데이터와 기업의 데이터베이스를 통합하여 웨어하우스를 설계하고 여기에 데이터마이닝, OLAP을 적용하여 CRM에 활용하는 방안을 제안하고자 한다.

  • 인터넷의 발전으로 WWW상에서 지도 정보를 서비스하는 사이트들이 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 WWW상의 지리 정보 서비스를 확장한 도로 주행 안내 시스템의 구현에 관하여 기술한다. 도로 주행 안내 시스템은 도로, 건물 등의 지리 정보를 표시해주며 사용자의 최단 경로질의를 받고 빠른 시간내에 최단경로를 탐색할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 요구를 수용할 수 있도록 OODBMS, CORBA, Java를 사용하여 WWW상의 도로 주행 안내 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 위해 이 논문에서는 도로 데이터 캐싱과 그래프 모델링, HEPV (Hierarchical Encoded Path View) 알고리즘 구현 등의 사항을 기술하였다.

  • To construct distance learing servers and provide their service using the WWW(World Wide Web), it is necessary that we use a real-time processing mehtod rather than the processing after downloading method for multimedia data transmission and their processing.To fulfill such requirements, we developed a real-time processing muduloe for distance education which can process multimedia data in AVI and WAV formats in distrbuted eviroments.We in turn developede a real-time WWW server that can provide real-time services of hypertxt and motion poctures data in temsw of adding the real-time porcessing modute to the MuX framework and intergarting them with WWW. We frnally developed as distance lerming system for real-time interactive chinese character learming, bassed on the results from the pre-vious steps.

  • Many people are the latest interested in the integration of the WWW and database systems. The UCM(United CGI Management) system, which is proposed on this study, is based on the method using CGI that does not change existing servers and clients to integrate the WWW and database system. Since the CGI executable architecture executes a CGI program whenever the database is accessed, the system performance is reduced greatly when many request to the database are made simultaneously. However, the UCM system improves the system performance since it uses the integrated CGI running a daemon process. Moreover, the proposed system can use the WWW database more economically and doesn't use the SQL because it does not use a DBMS. In UCM system, we define the extended HTML tags to implement the WWW database interface and use the EXODUS storage manager for accessing the database.

  • 원거리에서 로봇 핸드를 제어하는 일은 어려운 일이다. 이를 WWW 데이터를 이용 데이터의 불분명확한 점을 사용하여 데이터가 덜 명확한 점이 있더라도 이를 제어 시스템의 데이터로서 사용할 수 있는 점을 이용하여 원거리에서 데이터를 WWW를 이용하여 수신하고 이를 좀더 발전시켜 로봇 제어를 할 수 있겠끔 데이터의 유동성을 보장하는 계층적 분석 방법에 접목시켜 로봇 제어를 할 수 있겠끔 하였다. 불분명확한 제어 데이터를 사용하는 대신 계층적 알고리즘을 사용하여 이를 보완 할 수 있는 보완 시스템을 구성하였다라고 말할수 있다. 단순한 WWW데이터 만으로 제어가 되지 않는다는 것을 확인하고 이를 계층적 분석 방법에 사용하므로써 보강할수 있는 점을 확인하고 WWW데이터를 사용하지 않는 방법과도 결과를 비교 검토한다.

Developing criteria for evaluation of WWW resources in electronic libraries (전자도서관의 WWW 데이터 평가기준에 대한 연구)

  • Unlike most print resources such as magazines and journals that go through an filtering process (e.g. editing, peering review), information in world Wide Web and Internet is mostly unfiltered. Using and citing information found over Web may not be reliable or authoritative. Therefore it is necessary to develop skills to evaluate what we found on the net. Fifteen evaluation documents for WWW are collected, analyzed from digital sources of U. S. academic libraries and common criteria for evaluating WWW resources are developed. Also several practical steps were made to overcome the quality problems.

  • This paper deals with a development of the system that implements a collaborative design environment with some intelligent agents on the m. Intelligent agents can design collaboratively trough an interchange of messages in their special domains. Such a collaborative design of agents is achieved on the WWW. In this paper, we propose special agents named intercessor and DCM (Dynamic Connection Manager) and suggest new connection architecture using these agents in the WWW in order to improve the pre-existed agent connection architecture. The proposed agents are developed using Java language and JATLite API. We apply the these agents to the new architecture and show some possibilities that the agent connection architecture can be extended in the WWW Agents interchange messages with others using KOML (Knowledge Query and Manipulation Language), agent communication protocol and language, and deal with message autonomously according to their rule base. Agents register and connect dynamically trough the intercessor agent, and infer from their.

  • Recently. the advent of WWW increased the population of internet users and many institutions are carrying out technical development research to implement spatial data distribution environment via internet because importance of Web Geographic Information System(WGIS) is being increased highly. To be accessed WGIS data, we need Spatial Data Electronic Distribution System(SDEDS) which registers and sell spatial data in WWW. In this paper, we Propose and design effective SDEDS to expel spatial data electronic distribution system which is connected WWW. Therefore, we show how to implement and functions of each module.

  • World Wide Web(WWW) has a lot of useful charaters. Easiness of use, multi-media data supporting and interactive communication capability are typical reasons why people want to use WWW. But because WWW is based on Internet, it has some security problems which originate in plain format data transmission on physical transmission line. The unique solution fer this problems is data encryption. Since theoritically proved encryption algorithms ensure data confidentiality, a unauthorized user can not know what is transmitted on network. In this paper, we propose a cryptography system which uses public key system. In detail, our public key based web security mechanism is using PGP module. PGP is a e-mail security system implemented by Phil Zimmermann. The basic idea of our propose is data encryption and integrity checking for all data which is transmitted on Web. To implement these facilities, we. use netscape browser extension technology, plug-in. Through these technology, security mechanisms are added on netscape browser.
