A Study on Application of Common Phrase Function Based on WIPI Platform (WIPI 플랫폼 기반의 상용어구 기능 적용에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, domestic interest about wireless internet is rising gradually. Characteristic of present domestic wireless market is that mobile communication businessmans appropriate each other different mobile platform. So, contents provider's development environment can not be same each other. This makes contents providers repeat same work. To solve this problem, standardization work of wireless internet market was begun. The three mobile communication companies and TTA (Telecommunications Technology Association), RRU(Radio Research Laboratory), ETRI(Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute) progressed standardization. By the result, May 2002, WIPI that is wireless standard platform selected by mobile platform standard that is TTA organization standard. In this paper, 1 am going to examine the WIPI. WIPI can reduce mostly expense that happen when we use different platform. 1 design and embody common phrase function. Through this, 1 am going to show improvement of the character input speed in cellular phone. And I wish to discuss expected cost decrease effect. Investigate about platform of treatise that is used in domestic. analyze about the characteristic, merits and demerits. Chatting service and common phrase function design and embody. Finally, wish to discuss about advantage of common phrase function and practical use field.

  • Recently The biggest three mobile telecommunication companies of our country still using independence wireless internet platform. And, It can so many difficulties to the phone company and content provide company. Such as the timing of the development or the fee of the development. Because even they develop one product and Hey must make it prepare for some platform of every mobile telecommunication companies. And this make the development more longer and more expensive. For this reason, SKT, LG telecom and KTF develop the new wireless internet platform named WIPI with ETRI. and the working is still go on and go ahead with propulsion. And if it come to reality, the WIPI will attached from much of attack such as hacking or virus. But some data exchange between mobile phone is so important as to flow. Thus, in this paper, we consideration the XML using in the wireless environment and we are design and implementation the XML encryption system working at the WIPI in order to protect the data, we want to protect.

  • According as marine leisure industry has developed and the demand of leisure culture has increased rapidly, a desire about service which supply marine safety and connect marine information is enlarging. The performance of personal mobile device has improved and been evolved by composition terminal. So, it became possible that storage and expression of multimedia information as well as simple communication facility. Domestic wireless internet has given development strain to developer and contents Provider(CP) because of different platform. And this has become hindrance factor of wireless internet activation. But, recently, the use of WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability), the wireless internet standard platform, could use different wireless application programs and also guarantee the independency for hardware. We wish to develop contents of download form that supply geographic information of Electronic Navigational Chart(ENC) in the marine that is digitalized to carrying along terminal of WIPI base and various informations for marine leisure. For this, DB that offer ENC and additional information should be constructed. Also, we need server (CPS; Contents provider Server) that offer required contents. In this paper, we design web retrieval agent which store request information to database. When consumer required necessary information through personal mobile device, CPS can inform that by real time. So, we wish to develop agent component that parse informations in various World Wide Webs, and store to database.

  • It is possible to transfer huge data in mobile device by advancing mobile technology, and so in this base, various services are offered. Especially, E-commerce service is offering on mobile environment, and this service is based on XML(eXtensible Markup Language) Signature. XML Signature assure that process integrity, message authentication, and/or signer authentication. And WIPI(Wireless Internet Protocol for Interoperability) that is mobile internet integration platform was proposed to integrate mobile device platform. However, because WIPI transmits and exchanges message by tort of XML base, encryption of XML document and necessity of XML signature are increasing because of weakness of security. Therefor in this paper, Encryption and XML signature module of XML document that satisfy standard requirement in WIPI platform base design and implementation. System that was proposed in this paper used standard encryption and XML signature algorithm and supports safe encryption and XML signature through doing security simulation applied various algorithm for XML document of mobile environment.

  • WIPI is developed by KWISF(Korea Wireless Internet Standardization Forum) and a wireless internet standard platform adopted by TTA. It needs the certification Process for standard specification in order to confirm interoperability. The WIPI is composed of the HAL, the Runtime Engine, and APIs(WIPI-C, WIPI-Java). nl applications are implemented through WIPI APIs that can be finished by themselves or provided essential functions from runtime engine or HAL. Therefore it needs to certify where the problems occur when errors occurred in a application. In this paper we propose the PCT that certifies a WIPI platform's functionality and APIs and the HCT that certifies HAL APIs. Because the PCT reports the final certification results for the platform it is impossible to know where the problems occur when it fails to certify platform. So, it needs to certify the HAL regardless of platform certification.

  • In this paper, m(mobile)-commerce system based on LBS is implemented. WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) that supports COD as a mobile VM(Virtual Machine) is used. These experimental results show that the system we proposed could be very efficient for CRM(Customer Relationship Management) and target management. And also, server load and connection time is improved by this system. From now on mobile commerce system based on LBS can be usable at various areas in ubiquitous environment.

  • 모바일 표준 플랫폼 WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability)는 하드웨어 독립적으로 설계되어 어떠한 무선단말기에도 사용가능하며 개발언어인 C와 자바를 선택적으로 사용할 수 있는 국내 무선인터넷 표준 플랫폼이고 WAP2.0(Wireless Application Protocol) 규격은 XHTML의 사용으로 유.무선 인터넷의 통합 컨텐츠 제공이 가능한 무선 응용프로토룰이다. 본 논문에서는 WIPI 표준 플랫폼에서 단말기의 무선인터넷 활용을 위해 XHTML을 마크업 언어로 채용한 WAP2.0 규격의 마이크로 브라우저 원형(Prototype)을 설계하여 구현하였고 WIPI 시뮬레이터를 사용하여 응용프로그램으로 구현된 마이크로 브라우저의 동작실험을 함으로써 WIPI 표준 플랫폼을 위한 WAP2.0마이크로 브라우저의 활용 가능성을 제시한다.

  • 기존의 다양한 무선인터넷 플랫폼이 WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability)라는 무선인터넷 플랫폼으로 표준화되면서 플랫폼 간 컨텐츠 호환성을 보장하고, 플랫폼의 이식의 용이성을 제공하여 다양하고 풍부한 컨텐츠들이 개발되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 어플리케이션간에 데이터를 교환하고 공유하기 편리한 XML 데이터를 생성하고, 실시간으로 야구 중계 서비스를 제공하는 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 이러한 데이터서비스 교환에 XML을 적용함으로써 클라이언트와 서버 사이의 통신을 표준화하였다.

  • 기존의 다양한 무선인터넷 플랫폼이 WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability)라는 무선인터넷 플랫폼으로 표준화되면서 무선응용프로그램의 상호 운용성 및 하드웨어에 대한 독립성을 보장할 수 있게 되었다. 그러나 WIPI플랫폼 기술이 아직 초기 단계에 머물러 있어 응용프로그램 개발을 위한 API의 지원이 미비하여 다양한 응용프로그램을 개발하기가 힘들다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 개발자에게는 원격 모니터링 및 정보가전 제어 서비스에 대한 API를 제공하고. 사용자에게는 WIPI 단말기를 이용하여 언제 어디서나 무선인터넷에 접속하여 원격 모니터링 및 정보가전 제어 서비스를 제공할 수 있는 WIPI 기반의 원격 모니터링 및 정보가전 제어 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.
