  • This study investigates historically difference by age of wig banishments that symbolize social-economic status from West Egypt era baroque age as qualitative study that use secondary bibliographic data, there is purpose. Conclusion of this study is as following. Because wig putting on that symbolize among several usages of wig putting on, socio-economic status until 17th century baroque age from ancient Egypt is been in fashion through privilege class lower classes as well as upper class wig putting on attain.   • As demands for high speed sea transportations have recently been increased, various high speed ships appear. Among them the WIG is believed to be one of the next generation of the sea transportation system. Test flight of the 20 seaters WIG craft, Haenarae-X1, developed by MOERI was a success in August, 2007. Development of the large WIG is now ongoing, and it is expected to be commercialized in the near future. In this study we designed a remote controled WIG Craft and carried out its performance test in order to establish engineering design procedures of an Unmanned WIG (U-WIG) craft.

Longitudinal static stability requirements for wing in ground effect vehicle

  • The issue of the longitudinal stability of a WIG vehicle has been a very critical design factor since the first experimental WIG vehicle has been built. A series of studies had been performed and focused on the longitudinal stability analysis. However, most studies focused on the longitudinal stability of WIG vehicle in cruise phase, and less is available on the longitudinal static stability requirement of WIG vehicle when hydrodynamics are considered: WIG vehicle usually take off from water. The present work focuses on stability requirement for longitudinal motion from taking off to landing. The model of dynamics for a WIG vehicle was developed taking into account the aerodynamic, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces, and then was analyzed. Following with the longitudinal static stability analysis, effect of hydrofoil was discussed. Locations of CG, aerodynamic center in pitch, aerodynamic center in height and hydrodynamic center in heave were illustrated for a stabilized WIG vehicle. The present work will further improve the longitudinal static stability theory for WIG vehicle.

  • A new ground transportation system is often simulated by the wing in ground effect(WIG). Recently, several kinds of experimental and computational studies are being carried out to investigate the WIG aerodynamic characteristics which are of practical importance to develop the new ground transportation vehicle system. These works are mainly based on conventional wind tunnel tests, but many problems associated with the WIG aerodynamic characteristics can not be satisfactorily resolved. In order to develop the new ground transportation vehicle system the WIG should be further investigated. To do this, it is necessary to develop a s imulator appropriate to the WIG aerodynamics. The objective of the present study is to clarify the aerodynamic characteristics of the WIG and to develop a new experimental test rig for the investigation of the WIG aerodynamics. Some preliminary experiments are performed to investigate the usefulness of the WIG simulator.

Management and Development Potential of the Wig Industry in the Beauty Tech Era

  • Purpose: The new technological innovation caused by the Fourth Industrial Revolution will bring about a major change in the scalp healthcare market and the wig industry. This review paper is an empirical analysis focusing on the development potential of the Korean beauty tech market and the wig industry. Research design, data and methodology: This review of the wig industry and consumer experience is an important literature review. The PRISMA flow chart was used. Beauty Tech; Beauty Industry; Wig Industry; Wig; Scalp Healthcare; was used as Keywords as records verified through database screening. A total of 513 references were finally selected through major journal search sites such as PubMed, Google Scholar, RISS, Scopus, and Research Gate. Among the selected references, a total of 52 papers were selected in the final stage from 2001 to 2022. Results: For the sustainable development of wig industry management, consumers' desire for new and convenient products should be secured through technologies related to the 4th industrial revolution, and creative thinking was presented throughout manufacturing, distribution, and customer service. Conclusions: Hair loss reduces the quality of life due to mental stress and affects social life. The continuous development of wig companies, such as information on wigs and quality improvement, should be supported.

  • The paper introduces the state-of-the art of WIG ship and application field of the CFD to WIG ship development. WIG ships are highly efficient and fast transport vehicles which take advantage of benefits of ground effect. Chapter 1 describes the characteristics of WIG ship. Chapter 2 reviews the research works of Russia, German, Chinese, Korea and etc. Chapter 3 explains the kind of WIG ship categorized by the main operational mode and take-off system. Chapter 4 describes about the application field of CFD to WIG ship development procedure.

  • Recently, several kinds of experimental and computational studies are being carried out to investigate the WIG aerodynamic characteristics which are of practical importance to develop the new ground transportation vehicle system. These works are mainly based upon conventional wind tunnel tests, but many problems associated with the WIG aerodynamic characteristics cannot be satisfactorily resolved due to the wind tunnel blockage effects or string problems to support the test object. To do this, it is necessary to develop a novel simulator appropriate to the WIG aerodynamics. The objective of the present study is to clarify the aerodynamic characteristics of a new developed WIG simulator, which is able to imitate real WIG flow circumstances such as gradually decelerating and accelerating flows.

  • 해면효과를 받는 WIG선의 종방향 안정성 특성은 고도에 따른 힘과 모멘트의 변화량 때문에 일반 항공기와는 매우 다르게 나타나며, WIG선의 안전한 설계 및 성능에 큰 영향을 준다. 해면 효과를 고려한 WIG선의 종방향 운동방정식으로부터 정안정성 및 동안정성 조건을 유도하고 이를 분석하였다. 20인승 WIG선의 실험데이터로부터 정적 및 동적 안정성 해석을 수행하였으며, 몇가지 설계인자의 변화에 따른 동적 운동특성도 조사하였다. 마지막으로 순항조건에서 비행성능(flying quality)을 군용 항공규정에 의해 분석하였다.

  • WIG crafts are high speed vessels with the features of a dynamic supported craft. These crafts, which are predominantly lightweight and operate at substantially greater speeds than conventional craft, could not be accommodated under traditional maritime safety instruments. WIG crafts inherently possess more hazard factors than conventional ships because of their relatively high speed, lightweight, and navigational characteristics, and an accident is likely to cause damage to the ship and a high loss of life. Because WIG crafts are composed of many systems and subsystems, the safety assessment of a WIG must use a commercial software system in the design stage. This paper reviews a safety assessment process and methodology proposed by the IMO interim guideline, which were developed in view of the configuration of WIG crafts. This safety assessment system was developed to fit the WIG's safety assessment process using a reliability analysis system widely used in commercial systems. The FHA was performed on the functional hazards of systems in the conceptual design stage.

  • 고속 및 고효율의 해양 수송수단에 대한 필요성이 점차 증가되면서 위그선(WIG: Wing in Ground effect)이 차세대 수송수단으로 관심이 집중되고 있다. 이러한 고속 해양 수송선의 구조설계 시 수면에 대한 충격하중은 중요하게 고려되어야 할 하중요소 중의 하나이며 착수하중에 의한 동적거동은 손상을 초래하는 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 위그선 착수 시 수면 충격하중에 대한 수치해석을 통해 선체의 동적거동을 평가하였다. 착수환경에서의 수면충격하중을 ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian) 유한요소법을 적용하여 해석을 수행하였으며 3차원 쉘요소를 적용한 전기체 모델을 개발하여 위그선의 착수환경에서 선체의 동적거동을 모사하였다. 착수환경은 정상 착수조건과 측풍에 의한 비정상 착수조건 두 가지를 고려하여 해석을 수행하였으며 이러한 착수환경이 위그선 구조의 정적 구조 안정성에 미치는 영향을 평가하였다
