자동으로 암호문과 평문의 수신이 가능한 팩시밀리용 암호통신시스템을 개발하였다. 개발된 암호시스템은 128bit SEED알고리즘을 적용하였으며 1024bit 모듈러, 256bits Exponent의 Diffie-Hellman 키교환방식을 적용하였다. 암호문 고속 전송을 위해 Dual FAX Server를 개발함으로써 실시간 암호통신을 구현하였다. Diffie-Hellman 키교환 시 등록된 시리얼번호를 서로 교환시켜 안전한 키 교환이 가능하게 하였다.

본 논문에서는 FAX문서에 직접 서명을 실행하는 디지털 서명 방식을 제안한다. 서명 비트를 합성하기 위해 기주사된 복수개의 참조 주사선중 키에 의해 선택된 주사선의 변화화소와 부호화주사선의 변화화소의 거리의 우기성을 이용하여 합성 비트열에 따라 거리를 신축조작하는 합성알고리즘을 제안한다. 앞서 제시한 방식에 비해 서명의 확산이 가능하므로 부분 서명에 의해 문서전체에 대한 서명이 구현되어 서명 속도가 개선되며 합성 전제조건의 제거로 합성 가능량이 증가한다. 또한 제안하는 디지털 서명구조에 의해 디지털 서명의 제 3 조건인 송신 부인 봉쇄를 구현한다. 디지털 서명된 송신 문서는 원 문서와 시각적으로 구분이 어려워 제 3자에게는 통상의 문서교환으로 인식될 것이다.

This paper studies directions for technology information service on Korea material & component industry which is a main course for the deficit of balance of payments in Korea. We have got survey results through e-mail or fax, for the degree of the necessity of the service and the contents for the service. Finally, we will recommend the check point for the service, and for the policy.

In this paper we introduce some existing preprocessing algorithm for character recognition and consider feature extraction method for the recognition of low resolution document. Image recognition of low resolution document including fax images can be frequently misclassified due to the blurring effect, slope effect, noise and so on. In order to overcome these difficulties in the character recognition we considered a mesh feature extraction and contour direction code feature. System for automatic character recognition were suggested.

본 논문에서는 NGN(Next Generation Network)을 고려하여 IPv6와 차별화된 호 처리 기법을 지원하는 SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) 프로토콜을 설계하고 구현하였다. NGN에서 다양한 응용 서비스들은 SIP를 통하여 호를 설정한다. 따라서, 소프트스위치(Softswitch) 및 SIP 서버는 호를 처리 할 때 팩스(Fax), 망 관리(Network Management), 홈 네트워킹(Home Networking)과 같이 호 설정 시간에 아주 민감한 서비스에 우선순위를 부여할 수 있어야 한다. 또한, ALL-IP를 고려하여 IPv6를 지원하여야 한다. 이러한 문제들을 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 차별화된 호 처리 기법을 제안하였다. 차별화된 호 처리 기법은 우선순위에 따라 세 단계의 서비스품질을 사용하여, 호 처리에 대한 차별화 정책을 지원한다. 또한, 본 논문에서 정의된 서비스품질은 IPv6 헤더의 Flow Label 필드를 통하여 값을 설정한다. 성능분석 결과, SIP 서버 내에서 호가 처리 될 때 높은 우선순위를 가지는 호에 대한 처리율이 현저히 빠르게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 NGN에서 호 설정 시간에 민감한 응용 서비스에 적용 할 경우, 호 설정 시간을 줄임으로서 응용 서비스의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 증명한다.

Firms' utilization of internet is completely changing their business environment. Apparel firms' without exception are using internet as their essential marketing mechanism and as a new media for educating customers. Some apparel firms' at the same time acquire valuable customer information from internet users. These business cases become evident in developed countries. in contrast most domestic appstrl firms' are unable to see the strategic importance of internet. Accordingly their level of internet utilization remains quite low. This paper describes apparel firms' use of internet as electronic commerce mechanism based on cases of pioneering apparel firms' which adopted internet technologies in the first place. 기존 선박 통신시스템은 위성통신을 이용한 음성, FAX, ISDN 등이 대부분으로 선박 해상관제 업무에 집중되고 있지만, 최근의 레저선박 통신시스템의 경우는 더 높은 품질의 스마트 통신 서비스 및 통신환경을 요구하고 있다. 기존 통신시스템을 활용하여 통신 환경을 실험한 결과, 선상에서는 위성통신이 가능하나, 밀폐된 선내에서는 위성통신을 중계한 음성통신만 가능하고 스마트 앱이나 이메일 사용은 불가하였다. 본 논문에서는 선상뿐 만아니라 선내에서도 음성, 문자, 이메일, 대규모 파일 전송, 해상관제 앱 실행이 가능한 통신시스템 구현을 제안한다. 본 연구를 통해 위성통신단말기와 스마트폰이 결합한 듀얼 복합 통신단말기와 선내에서도 대용량 이메일 및 스마트 앱 사용이 가능한 시스템을 구현하였다. 실험 결과 선박 어느 위치에서나 다양한 통신이 가능하였다.

Telecommunication services are distinctive in that their adoptions are influenced by network effect resulting in 'the late take-off Phenomenon' and the 'critical mass' problem. In this paper we examined, so called, 'the late take-off phenomenon' in the diffusion process of telecommunication services. We compared the parameters of the diffusion process of consumer durables with those of fax services in the US and Korea. By analyzing the parameters of a new diffusion model based on the threshold model proposed by Markus, We found that 'the late take-off phenomenon' resulted from the low heterogeneity of the threshold distribution for the potential adopters.

This paper considers a web-based order processing system under SCM environment. Following the framework of B2B electronic commerce, we focus on activities closely related to order handling within the supply chain. We also try to integrate the order processing system with the overall information system of the company. The methodology is applied to the case of H company and a prototype system is designed. This study analyzes the current product estimate and order handling process in the point of view of both the purchasing and the selling companies. It intends improvement by changing the existing closed way of request and offering estimate through fax or VAN into an open way using internet. For this, a company should be registered on the order site of internet. Then it can request estimate, take estimate, and handle order through internet adopting the concept of electrical commercial transaction.

This paper describes the development of the CDMA mobile station to support non-speech, mobile office services such as data, fax, and short message service in addition to voice. We developed some important functions of layer 2 and layer 3. To provide non-speech services, we developed a terminal adapter and user interface software. The description of development process, software architecture and external interfaces required to provide such services is given. The description of a TTA-62 message analysis tool, a mobile station monitoring software, and an automatic test system developed for integration tests and performance measurements is also given.
