최근 들어 지구온난화 등의 환경적 요인과 지역별 온도차 등으로 인해 국지성 호우가 빈발하고 있다. 많은 양의 폭우가 좁은 지역에 집중적으로 비를 뿌리는 국지성 호우는 저지대 침수와 범람, 산사태, 축대 붕괴 등의 위험성 등을 증가시키며, 특히 도시지역은 개발로 인한 지표면의 포장 등 자연공간이 감소하여 개발 전 지표면의 유역 내 저류 및 지연효과가 현저히 감소하고 있다. 시가지의 확대와 도로포장 등 유역 내 불투수층의 증가로 홍수유출량과 첨두유출량이 점차 증가하고 있고 이러한 국지성 호우에 의한 피해는 점점 다양해지고 대형화 되고 있으며, 버스정류장 한 두개 정도의 거리에서도 호우형태가 크게 달라지고 있다. 하지만 영동지방의 경우 1개의 관측소가 $834.4km^2$, 낙동강 유역의 경우 $126.8km^2$로 간헐적으로 분포되어 있다. 많은 양의 폭우가 좁은 지역에 집중적으로 비를 뿌리는 국지성 호우를 관측하기 위해서는 고밀도의 면적강우량 산정이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 차량용 강우센서를 이용하여 W-S-R 관계식을 개발하였으며, 대상지역인 삼척시내를 대상으로 면적강우량을 산정 하였으며, 실제 관측 면적강우량과의 비교를 통해 차량용 강우 센서를 이용하여 생산된 면적강우량의 효용성을 검토하였다.

본 연구는 von Bertalanffy의 성장식과 섭식양을 이용하여 자연조건하에서 노래미, Hexagrammos agrammus의 에너지 대사를 파악하기 위하여 시도된 것이며, 표본은 부산 동백섬 연안과 삼천포 신수도 연안에서 채집된 것이다. 에너지 대사 모델은 섭식양, 함장양, 흡수양, 동화양, 이화양, 배설양, 불소화배출양 등으로 구성된 표준화된 에너지 수지 모델을 이용하였으며, 에너지 대사의 구성요소별 측정단위는 열량단위가 아닌 중량단위로서 나타내 었다. 노래미에 의해 섭식된 연간섭식양이 에너지 대사의 구성요소별 배분되는 양 또는 을은 어체의 연령에 따라 달랐다. 에너지 대사의 구성요소별 추정값을 연령군별로 비교한 결과, 연간배설양은 어체의 연령이 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었고, 나머지 구성요소는 어체의 연령이 증가할수록 증가하였다. 연령군별 평균체중 (W)과 연간흡수양($A_b$) 및 연간리화양(R) 간에는 각각 $A_b=4.592W^{0.666}$의 비선형과 R=0.007+0.567W의 선형관계가 있었고, 연간섭식양 (C)과 연간동화양 (A) 및 연간리화양 간에는 각각 A=-7.026+0.061C와 R=-20.749+0.048C의 선형관계가 있었다.

Deformation behavior of $Zr_{55}Cu_{30}Al_{10}Ni_5$ (at. %) bulk metallic glass (BMG) fabricated by suction casting method has been investigated at elevated temperatures in this study. The BMG was first verified to have an amorphous structure thru X-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). A series of compression tests has consequently been performed in supercooled liquid temperature region to investigate the high temperature deformation behavior. A transition from Newtonian to non-Newtonian flow appeared to take place depending upon both the strain rate and test temperature. A processing map based on a dynamic materials model has been constructed to estimate a feasible forming condition for this BMG alloy.

In this paper, the portable game machine called W"alking Beat" is designed and implemented not only to propose the new possibilities for the peripheral equipment market of portable acoustic machine but also to overcome the limitation of the acoustic simulation game machine such as the existing Beat Mania. The old game machine can be used only in a particular place, where it is installed. However, in order to get over the constraint on this space problem "Walking Beat Game Machine" is designed to facilitate the portability. In addition, the frequency analysis method using FFT algorithm is employed by regarding the music data for the portable digital acoustic machine as source so that the limitation that the existing game machine depends heavily on the previously registered game contents can be overcome. By making it possible to play games for all the music and putting an emphasis on multimedia trend only to listen to the music, it is speculated that it can contribute to the development of the new culture in the near future.

In this paper, the driving systems of the Fiber Optic Gyrocompass absolutely required a constant speed and a precise position control with fine step angle, are presented. One of the proposed systems is a stepping motor system with microstep driver, another one is a DC servo motor. Experimental results indicate that a low cost and simple FOG driving system using a stepping motor is capable of a satisfactory operation.

Copper magnetron anode of a microsave-over consists of an cylindrical outer-tube and various inner-vanes. The magnetron anode is produced by the complex processes; vane blanking, pipe cutting and silver-alloy brazing of vanes. Recently, the backward extrusion process for forming vanes has been developed to avoid the complex procedures. The developed process is analyzed by using upper-bound elemental technique (UBET). In the UBET analysis, the upper-bound load, the configuration and the vane-height of final extruded product are determined by minimizing the roral power consumption with repect to chosen parameters. To verify theoretical analysis, experiments have been carried out with pure plasticine billets at room temperature, using different web-thickness and number of vanes. The theoretical predictions both for forming load and vane-height are in reasonable agreement with the experimental results.

Cirrus clouds observation was conducted using a lidar system in order to measure their height, thickness and optical depth at Kwangju (35$^{\circ}$10'N, 126$^{\circ}$53'), Korea in winter, December 2002, and spring March and April 2003. Cirrus clouds at high altitude can be distinguished from atmospheric aerosols location by high depolarization ratio and high altitude. Cirrus clouds were observed at 5${\sim}$12km altitudes with a high depolarization ratio from 0.2 to 0.5. Optical depth of cirrus clouds had varied from 0.28 to 1.81. Radiative effect of observed cirrus cloud on climate system was estimated to be negative net flux from ?0.24 to ?31.04 W/m$^{2}$.

$Cu_2O$ nanoparticles-based films are fabricated by spin-coating on glass substrates and their optoelectronic characteristics are investigated in this study. The $Cu_2O$ films are nearly all-transparent as high as 98% in a wavelength range from 400 nm to 900 nm and three exciton peaks associated with the sublevels in the conduction band are observed at the wavelengths shorter than 400 nm in the absorption spectrum. Under the illumination of the 325 nm wavelength light, the photocurrent efficiency of the $Cu_2O$ film is $1.8\times10^5 {\mu}A/W$ at a voltage of 2.5 V in air.

The purpose of this study is to describe the nutritional status of lacto-ovo vegetarian college male students related food habits, nutrient intake, food analysis, blood content and blood pressure. This survey was conducted at Korean Union College June 13 through 20 in 1982 (7days), and the questionnaires were designed to find out the food habits for 113 men students. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1) They often use whole cereals, vegetables, pulses, nuts and fung; they don't use seasonings or animal foods. 2) It seemed that vegetarian's personalities were stable and they had good endurance. 3) All nutrients were taken sufficiently, and the ratios of carbohydrates, lipids and proteins were 70, 16, 14 respectively. 4) No one had anemia prevalences of Hb, Hct, or serum Iron compared with the anemic criteria of W.H.O. The mean value of serum cholesterol was 126 mg%. 5) The mean value of blood pressure was 72/110 mmHg.

B.Djafari Rouhani and W.A.Kirk [3] proved the following theorem: Let Xbe a reflexive Banach space and $(x_n)_{n{\geq}0}$ be a nonexpansive (resp., firmly nonexpansive )sequence in X. Then the set of weak ${\omega}$-limit points of the sequence $(\frac{x_n}{n})_{n{\geq}1}$(resp., $(x_{n+1}-x_n)_{n{\geq}0$) always lies on a convex subset of a sphere centered at the origin of radius $d={\lim}_{n{\rightarrow}{\infty}}\frac{{\parallel}x_n{\parallel}}{n}$. In this paper we show that the above theorem for nonexpansive(resp., firmly nonexpansive) sequences holds in a general Banach space(resp., a strictly convex dual $X^*$).
