Filament winding method is widely used for composite fabrications using low viscosity liquid for-mation and processing asymmetrical structures of pressure vessel pipe rocket motor case etc. The filament winding method is affected by several parameters such as pot life of process time viscosi-ty of resin filament winding temperature and schedules curing condition and post curing condi-tion of resin. To develope high functional composite materials the rotation(5, 15, 20, 30rpm) of the winding machine was controlled by D.C motor. And the wiper to give proper tension was equipped between strand and resin bath. The resin is hooked by the design wiper. The adequate cure schedule was found by DSC. NOL ring test is carried out to investigate the basic physical properties such as design technology. The void contents in filament winding is generally higher than that of the prepreg laminated plate. These high contents of void can make a crack in resin in spite of low deformation. These problem was solved by giving tension in processing. To improve the characteristics of fiber volume fraction void contents resin/fiber bonding the winding speedc is changed under constant tension. It was found that resin impregnation was not different from in fiber contents void contents at the range of 0.5~1kg tension but it was found that resin was not impregnated at the above of 1.5kg tension. In burst test a pure PE liner was failed at a nozzle part under the $14kg/\textrm{cm}^2$ pressure but a pressure vessel of CNG was failed at a cylinder part under the $200kg/\textrm{cm}^2$ pressure.

In this paper we have proposed a power aware location based routing protocol for wireless ad hoc network. The existing greedy perimeter stateless routing (GPSR) has some problems which are certain node overloaded and void situation. The proposed power aware greedy perimeter stateless routing (PAGPSR) protocol gives a solution for these problems in GPSR. PAGPSR uses power aware and geographically informed neighbor selection to route a packet towards the destination. It also gives a solution for the fundamental problem in geographical routing called communication void. It considers residual energy of battery and distance to the destination for the next hope node selection. When it encounters a void it starts limited-flooding to select next hop node. To evaluate the performance of our protocol we simulated PAGPSR in ns-2. Our simulation results show that our protocol achieves longer network lifetime compared with greedy perimeter stateless routing (GPSR).

Greedy routing which is easy to apply to geographic wireless sensor networks is frequently used. Greedy routing works well in dense networks whereas in sparse networks it may fail. When greedy routing fails, it needs a recovery algorithm to get out of the communication void. However, additional recovery algorithm causes problems that increase both the amount of packet transmission and energy consumption. Communication void is a condition where all neighbor nodes are further away from the destination than the node currently holding a packet and it therefore cannot forward a packet using greedy forwarding. Therefore we propose a VODUA(Virtually Ordered Distance Upgrade Algorithm) as a novel idea to improve and solve the problem of void. In VODUA, nodes exchange routing graphs that indicate information of connection among the nodes and if there exist a stuck node that cannot forward packets, it is terminated using Distance Cost(DC). In this study, we indicate that packets reach successfully their destination while avoiding void through upgrading of DC. We designed the VODUA algorithm to find valid routes through faster delivery and less energy consumption without requirement for an additional recovery algorithm. Moreover, by using VODUA, a network can be adapted rapidly to node's failure or topological change. This is because the algorithm utilizes information of single hop instead of topological information of entire network. Simulation results show that VODUA can deliver packets from source node to destination with shorter time and less hops than other pre-existing algorithms like GPSR and DUA.
In this study, a contact algorithm for the finite element analysis of free surface contact problem in materials forming is presented. The proposed contact algorithm consists of two parts. The first is the contact searching part, and the second, the constraint part. The contact searching algorithm does not require any a priori knowledge of the pairs of contact nodes or segments and the impenetrability constraint is satisfied using the penalty function scheme. void colsure in open-die forging was simulated to verify the accuracy and capability of the currently developed contact algorithm. The simulation results, obtained from ABAQUS simulation, were compared well to the experimental data available in the literature.

This study was conducted to estimate deterioration reason of jointed concrete pavement. Image analysis tests were performed according to ASTM C 457 using concrete core specimens. Durability factors were estimated according to spacing factor, which is related with air content and air-void information. Test results show that spacing factors of most specimens were estimated above 250$\mu$m so that investigated concrete pavement has the problem of freeze and thawing resistance.

The possibility to development of floor vibration problem is larger in case of long span structure under service loads. Therefore, to improve the vibration performance of the floor, increasing of its thickness is a common method. But, increasing of thickness can lead to increase of slab self weight and reduce the effectiveness of the building. For this reason, attention for voided slab which reduces the self-weight is increasing. Hence, voided deck slab combined with deck plate and polystyrene void foam which has buoyancy prevention capacity and much developed construct ability has bee developed. By using the developed voided slab, vibration performance of a mock-up building structure has been investigated in the current study. The results according to analysis showed that they can be implemented in living and bedroom which are considered as 1st grade on the basis of "Residential Evaluation Guidelines for Vibration of Buildings" by the Architectural Institute of Japan.

Recently, with the miniaturization and high integration of semiconductor chips, the bump bridge phenomenon caused by fine pitches is drawing attention as a problem. Accordingly, Cu pillar bump, which can minimize the bump bridge phenomenon, is widely applied in the semiconductor package industry for fine pitch applications. When exposed to a high-temperature environment, the thickness of the intermetallic compound (IMC) formed at the joint interface increases, and at the same time, Kirkendall void is formed and grown inside some IMC/Cu and IMC interfaces. Therefore, it is important to control the excessive growth of IMC and the formation and growth of Kirkendall voids because they weaken the mechanical reliability of the joints. Therefore, in this study, isothermal aging evaluation of Cu pillar bump joints with a CS (Cu+ Sn-1.8Ag Solder) structure was performed and the corresponding results was reported.

Current oil-type potential transformers for trains are filled with insulating oil, which could have problems like explosions due to rising inner pressure during train operation. Therefore, mold and dry-type potential transformers are being developed to prevent explosions. One problem in manufacturing mold-type transformers is preventing void formation around the coiled core inside the mold during epoxy filling, which could cause an electrical spark. Micro voids can remain in the resin after filling, and macro voids can occur due to the structure shape. A transformer that is being developed has a cavity at the junction of the core and the coil for better performance, and when highly viscous epoxy flows inside the cavity channel, macro voids can form inside it. Therefore, in this study, the free-surface flow of the mold filling procedure was analyzed numerically by applying the VOF method. The results were used to understand the phenomena of void formation inside the cavity and to modify the process conditions to reduce voids.
The multi-dimensional two-phase flow models were developed for analyze the multi-dimensional behaviors or nuclear systems. To verify the simple turbulence model, The single phase mixing problem in a rectangular slab was calculated and compared with the commercial CFD code results. That result shows a good agreement with the CFD result. And the RPI Air-water experiments were simulated to assess the two-phase turbulence model in the multi-dimensional component. The first calculated distribution or void-fraction is highly dispersed and diffusive. It was revealed that the main reason is undesirable stratification force in a horizontal stratified flow regimes. Therefore the horizontally stratified flow regime is deleted because the stratified flow regime is not expected in multi-dimensional flow. With the modification of the flow regime, the predicted flow patterns and void fraction profiles are in good agreement with the measured data.
Statement of problem. Titanium-Nickel alloy might be used in various prosthetic restorations since it has a unique property such as super-elasticity and high fatigue resistance. However, little is known about the casting ability of this alloy. Purpose. This in vitro study compared the casting accuracy and the porosity made with different investments and various sprue designs to ascertain what casting condition would be better for the fabrication of Ti-Ni cast restorations. Material and methods. A total of 70 Ti-Ni alloy crowns were made and divided into 7 groups of 10 copings on a metal master die. For measuring the effect of the sprue numbers, two groups with one and two 8-gauge sprues were compared. Moreover, the results of the conventional sprue and the double thickness sprues were compared. Three investments were used; carbon free phosphate bonded investment, titanium investment and gypsum bonded investment. The cast restorations were evaluated at 48 points on the entire circumferential margin with a stereomicroscope measuring in micrometers. Each crown was radiographically examined for casting defects and porosity. Data on casting accuracy were analyzed using two-way and Post hoc Scheffe's comparison to determine whether significant differences existed at the 95% confidence level. Student-Newman-Keuls test were performed to identify significant differences in the number of voids. Results. The double sprueing group and double thickness group had significantly less marginal discrepancy than the single sprueing group (P<.05 and P<.01, respectively). The castings with phosphate bonded investment showed the least marginal discrepancy and the smoothest surface. The castings invested in the gypsum bonded investment had the greatest gaps in margin and the largest failure rate. The double sprueing group and phosphate bonded investment group had significantly smaller void numbers and smaller void size than the other groups. Conclusion. Within the limitations of this in vitro study, the casting accuracy of the groups using thicker, double sprue design and the phosphate bonded investment was significantly superior. Moreover, void number and size were less than other groups.
