Traffic Signal Recognition System Based on Color and Time for Visually Impaired

  • Nowadays, a blind man finds it very difficult to cross the roads. They should be very vigilant with every step they take. To resolve this problem, Convolutional Neural Networks(CNN) is a best method to analyse the data and automate the model without intervention of human being. In this work, a traffic signal recognition system is designed using CNN for the visually impaired. To provide a safe walking environment, a voice message is given according to light state and timer state at that instance. The developed model consists of two phases, in the first phase the CNN model is trained to classify different images captured from traffic signals. Common Objects in Context (COCO) labelled dataset is used, which includes images of different classes like traffic lights, bicycles, cars etc. The traffic light object will be detected using this labelled dataset with help of object detection model. The CNN model detects the color of the traffic light and timer displayed on the traffic image. In the second phase, from the detected color of the light and timer value a text message is generated and sent to the text-to-speech conversion model to make voice guidance for the blind person. The developed traffic light recognition model recognizes traffic light color and countdown timer displayed on the signal for safe signal crossing. The countdown timer displayed on the signal was not considered in existing models which is very useful. The proposed model has given accurate results in different scenarios when compared to other models.

  • In this study, graphic environment for system monitoring is designed that can efficiently manage monitoring data. And also system informations are inplemented to database for reliability and a utility management software is developed to monitor systems on graphic environment and RDBMS (Relational DataBase Management System). Specially, system status informations are presented in the forms of animation, graph, value, icon, and voice message. Status data and general basic informations of system can be all the times updated and indexly reported on database.

  • 보이스 포탈(Voice Portal) 서비스란 알고자 하는 정보를 음성으로 전화를 통해 명령하면 원하는 정보를 음성으로 서비스이다. 본 논문에서 구현된 시스템은 원하는 주식 정보를 음성으로 명령하면 Voice XML 서버가 찾고자 하는 주식 종목을 검색하여 다시 음성으로 알려주는 시스템이다. 인증의 절차를 수행하는 SMS(Short Message Service) 서버 모듈, PSTN 망과 Database 서버사이의 인터페이스를 제공하는 CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) 모듈, CTI 서버와 WWW(World Wide Web) 사이의 Voice XML 모듈, 정보를 검색하기 위한 Searching 모듈들이 필요하다. 음성 인식 기술을 기반으로 한 CTI 모듈 설계를 구현하였다. 또한 인정 방식으로 Random한 일회용 패스워드를 기반으로 한 SML 인증을 택하므로 더욱 더 안정된 서비스 제공을 목적으로 하였다.

  • In this paper we researched on the development methods and design of the B-ISDN protocol embedded Internet-Phone PBX System for the previous telephone exchange and communication. We designed the structure of the user terminal md exchange server of the Internet-Phone PBX System, defined message and data structure for call control, and designed call control message flows between sender and receiver terminal for user's communication.

The proposed model can be widely used in Large-scale Customer Response service.

  • In recent years, the number of scams related to voice phishing has been on the decline, but the number of messenger phishing attacks, a new type of crime, is increasing. In this study, by analyzing SNS posts containing messenger phishing cases, criminal trends of the main methods, imposture of trusted relative and fake payment were identified. Through the analysis, main words and patterns composing the message and the similarity and continuity of the phone numbers used were derived as criminal attributes, and criminal organizations were grouped. As the results of the analysis, we propose a cooperative system to prevent damage from messenger phishing by disseminating the criminal information collected by investigative agencies to private operators, and a plan to respond to messenger phishing predicted through grouping of criminal organizations.

  • This paper describes the development of the CDMA mobile station to support non-speech, mobile office services such as data, fax, and short message service in addition to voice. We developed some important functions of layer 2 and layer 3. To provide non-speech services, we developed a terminal adapter and user interface software. The description of development process, software architecture and external interfaces required to provide such services is given. The description of a TTA-62 message analysis tool, a mobile station monitoring software, and an automatic test system developed for integration tests and performance measurements is also given.
