VoIP service provides various functions that PSTN phone service hasn't been able to provide. Since it also has superiority in service charge, the number of user is increasing these days. When we think of the other side in cost aspect, the spam caller can also send his/her commercial message over phone line using more economic way. This paper presents the characteristics that should be considered to detect the spam call using greylisting method. We have explored static and dynamic characteristics in VoIP calls, and analyzed the relation among them. Especially, we have surveyed the authentication and charging method of Korean VoIP service provider. We have analyzed each charging method using our spam call simulation result, and derived the charging method that can be favored by spam caller. The contribution of the work is in analysis result of static aspect for SPIT Level calculation in greylisting method.

This research implemented VoIP phone for Advertisement service that used display(LCD) of internet telephone. If it is advertised using this advertisement service model, We don't make payment printing cost and delivering cost for advertisement. And the advertisement using VoIP phone can deliver to customers in real-time that high grade advertising exposure. The customer can use information about opening and closing store in real-time. Hence, in this paper we suggest more efficient advertisement technique using VoIP phone for Advertisement service.

Various services such as IPTV, VoIP, multimedia over IP, on-line payment, on-line game, etc. were made possible due to the rapid advance of the network. In order to provide secure and seamless services over the network, the Internet service providers are performing continuous network monitoring using NMS. The main function of NMS is to perform a diagnosis to identify the potential causes of failure from event messages. In this paper, a simulation tool, named as NetDoctor, is presented which is capable of identifying and diagnosing the potential problems in the virtual network, before the network model is constructed. In NetDoctor, a series of various and artificial failure is imposed on the virtual network, and it was analyzed if NetDoctor could identify the problems. The experimental results on virtual network show that the developed tool is very effective in identifying and diagnosing the problems. The presented simulation tool can be used in the design of robust network.
