  • UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) is an aerial vehicle that can accomplish the mission without pilot. UAV was developed for a military purpose such as a reconnaissance in an early stage. Nowadays usage of UAV expands into a various field of civil industry such as a drawing a map, broadcasting, observation of environment. These UAV, need vision system to offer accurate information to person who manages on ground and to control the UAV itself. Especially LOS(Line-of-Sight) system wants to precisely control direction of system which wants to tracking object using vision sensor like an CCD camera, so it is very important in vision system. In this paper, we propose a method to recognize object from image which is acquired from camera mounted on gimbals and offer information of displacement between center of monitor and center of object.

  • In this paper, we developed a novel hyperreality display called the Head Dome Projector (HDP). The HDP is a head-mounted display consisting of a dome-shaped screen with a very small radius of 40 cm, a mobile projector with ultra-wide projection lens and LED light sources. The main feature of the HDP is very wide viewing angle of 160 degrees horizontally by 120 degrees vertically comparable to the human visual field of view without head tracking and 360 degrees by 360 degrees with head tracking. According to our subjective evaluation comparing the HDP with a flat-panel display (FPD), the HDP realizes hyperreality 2.5 points higher than that realized by an FPD in the case of ${\pm}5$ level evaluation for HD motion images.

  • A two-dimensional moving target is necessarily captured by a 5 dot robot system using a robot vision technique. Here, a robot vision system with a visual skill so that it can take information for a moving target or object, specially two dimensionally moving, is introduced and its algorithm and control strategy are presented associated with it. The tracking algorithm is proposed and its performance is verified by experiment. The camera first captures the object, then it captures again after certain second. The position difference generates the horizontal and vertical velocities of the moving target, hence the final destination is estimated at gripping line. At the same time, the robot s...

  • In general, background subtraction based methods are used to detect the moving objects in visual tracking applications. In this paper we employed background subtraction based scheme to detect the temporarily stationary objects. We proposed two schemes for stationary object detection and we compare those in terms of detection performance and computational complexity. In the first approach we used single background and in the second approach we used dual backgrounds, generated with different learning rates, in order to detect temporarily stopped object. Finally, we used normalized cross correlation (NCC) based image comparison to monitor and track the detected stationary object in a video scene. The proposed method is robust with partial occlusion, short time fully occlusion and illumination changes, as well as it can operate in real time.

  • To generate the template of a detected object and to track the overlapped object and the object covered by other objects correctly are important research problems in visual surveillance. The frame difference is not capable of generating the template of slowly moving object. To get around the drawback of the conventional frame difference, we propose a new algorithm for generating a template using adaptive 3-frame difference.

  • We have proposed a method to detect and track moving ships using position from Radar and image processor. Real-time segmentation of moving regions in image sequences is a fundamental step in the radar-camera integrated system. Algorithms for segmentation of objects are implemented by composing of background subtraction, morphologic operation, connected components labeling, region growing, and minimum enclosing rectangle. Once the moving objects are detected, tracking is only performed upon pixels labeled as foreground with reduced additional computational burdens.

By image recognition algorithm was on the trace of moving orbit of violation vehicles for detection way of intercept vehicles. When moving orbit is located special site, utilized geometric image calibration and DC-notch filter. These are cognitive system of license plate by making signal. Then, Bright Evidence Detection and Dark Evidence Detection were applied to after mixing. It is applied to way of Backward tracking for detection way of intercept vehicles. After the field evaluation of developed system, it should be analyzed the more high than recognition rate of minimum standards 80%. • This paper presents a new circuit topology and its digital control scheme for a half-bridge resonant inverter. As the proposed half-bridge inverter can be operated in load-freewheeling modes, the pulse-width modulation (PWM) method can be used for the output power control. The proposed half-bridge inverter is based on the resonant frequency-tracking algorithm with the goal of maintaining the unity of the output displacement factor of the load impedance even in varying conditions. In this paper, the operation principle, electrical characteristics, and detailed digital control scheme of the proposed half-bridge resonant inverter are described. The experimental results of the prototype experimental setup to verify the validity of the proposed half-bridge inverter are presented and discussed.
