Vision System을 이용한 PCB 검사 매칭 알고리즘 (Matching Algorithm for PCB Inspection Using Vision System)

  • According as the patterns of PCB (Printed Circuit Board) become denser and complicated, quality and accuracy of PCB influence the performance of final product. It's attempted to obtain trust of 100% about all of parts. Because human inspection in mass-production manufacturing facilities are both time-consuming and very expensive, the automation of visual inspection has been attempted for many years. Thus, automatic visual inspection of PCB is required. In this paper, we used an algorithm which compares the reference PCB patterns and the input PCB patterns are separated an object and a scene by filtering and edge detection. And than compare two image using pattern matching algorithm. We suggest an defect inspection algorithm in PCB pattern, to be satisfied low cost, high speed, high performance and flexibility on the basis of $640{\times}480$ binary pattern.

  • The vision system is easy to use the exclusive use as a independent computer system but it is not much popularization by reason of expensive and difficult to adapt to the various fields, because it is easy to the existed computer system, the price is cheap and also it can use to the various measurement purpose which user wanted and programed. The measurement method of the vehicle axle casing nut welding part is that measure the value of the welding part to adapt the actual operation program from using the ratio between the actual length of the standard specimen and the length of image, to measure the ratio between the actual product and the camera image. A defect is found by the assembled visual inspection system. The inspection algorithm which estimates the quality of welded product is developed and also, the software program which processes the automatic test function of the inspection system. We make the foundation of the inspection automatic system and we will help to apply other welding machine.

  • The aim of this thesis is to develop a SMT-components placement inspection system equipped with a visual sensor. The visual sensor, which consists of a camera and 2-layer LED illuminator, developed to inspect the component placement state such as missing, shift, flipping, polarity and tomb-stone. on PCB in the reflow-process. In practical applications, however, it is too hard to classify component from images mixed pad on PCB, cream solder paste and component. To overcome the problem, this thesis proposes the 2-layer illumination method and the heuristic image processing algorithms according to inspection type. To show the effectiveness of the proposed approach, a series of experiments on the inspection were conducted. The results show that the proposed method is robust to visual noise and variations in component conditions.

  • 쇼크 업쇼바의 로드는 피스톤부 중심에 위치하여 왕복운동을 담당하는 부분으로 표면의 불량(찍힘)이 있을 경우 감쇠력에 대한 차이로 제품 성능을 제대로 발휘하는데 문제 발생의 요인이 되고 있다. 로드표면은 열처리 상태로 표면 광택으로 인하여 쉽게 불량이 표시되지 않으며, 작업자가 육안으로 로드의 이물질 및 찍힘, 기포 검사를 진행함으로써 눈의 피로도가 높아지고, 작업자 육안에 의존하기 때문에 제품의 검사 품질이 일정하지 않다. 본 연구에서는 제품의 원통 형상을 고려하여 라인스캔카메라를 이용한 머신비전 영상처리 기법으로 0.3mm이상의 표면의 불량을 검출하고, 검사단계에서 발생할 수 있는 표면 불량을 최소화하기 위한 전 공정 자동이송 및 양불 제품의 혼입을 방지하는 자동검사 시스템 개발에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 표면검사 시스템 개발로 작업자의 육안 검사에 의존하고 있던 쇼크업쇼버 로드의 표면에 대한 정밀 검사시스템 구축으로 품질검사 기준을 확보하고 표준화된 검사로 신뢰도가 향상되었다.

  • 자동차는 발명 초기 형태로 부터 많은 발전과 변형을 거듭하여 현재의 형태에 이르기 까지 인간의 활동 영역을 넓혀 주고 있다. 자동차의 전자 부품중 하나인 정션 박스를 종래에는 사람이 직접 육안으로 검사하여 오판을 하거나 검사의 속도가 느린 문제점이 있었다. 이를 보완하여 빠르고 정확하게 정션 박스 검사를 하기 위하여 비전 시스템(Vision System)을 이용하여 공정을 자동화 하는 방법을 제시하였다. 본 논문은 정션 박스에 삽입된 퓨즈(Fuse)와 릴레이(Relay)의 색상과 표면의 패턴을 검사하여 이상 유/무 및 결함을 자동으로 검사한다. 불량 검출의 성능을 평가하기 위하여 정션 박스를 가지고 시스템의 성능을 평가한 결과, 100%의 인식률을 나타내었고 이를 산업체에 적용하여 신속하고 정확한 검사가 가능함을 보였다.

자동시각검사환경하에서 공정 목표치의 설정 (Determination of Target Value under Automatic Vision Inspection Systems)

  • This paper deals with problem of determining process target value under automated visual inspection(AVI) system. Three independent error sources - digitizing error, illumination error, and positional error - which have a close relationship with the performance of the AVI system, are considered. Assuming that digitizing error is uniformly or normally distributed and illumination and positional errors are normally distributed, respectively, the distribution function for the error of measured lengths is derived when the length of a product is measured by the AVI system. Then, Optimal target values under two error models of AVI system are obtained by minimizing the total expected cost function which consists of give away, rework and penalty cost. To validate two process setting models, AVI system for drinks filling process is made up and test results are discussed.

  • Recently, UUVs (unmanned underwater vehicles) have increasingly been applied in various science and engineering applications. In-water inspection, which used to be performed by human divers, is a potential application for UUVs. In particular, the operational safety and performance of in-water inspection missions can be greatly improved by using an underwater robotic vehicle. The capabilities of hovering maneuvers and automatic image mosaicking are essential for autonomous underwater visual inspection. This paper presents the development of a hover-capable autonomous underwater vehicle system for autonomous in-water inspection, which includes both a hardware platform and operational software algorithms. Some results from an experiment in a model basin are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the developed system and algorithms.

  • The appearance inspection of various electronic products and parts has been executed by the eyesight of human. But inspection by eyesight can't bring about uniform inspection result. Because the appearance inspection result by eyesight of human is changed by condition of physical and spirit of the checker. So machine vision inspection system is currently used to many appearance inspection fields instead of the checker. However the inspection result of machine vision is changed by the illumination of workplace. Therefore we have used a power-law transformation in this paper. for improvement of vision inspection accuracy and could increase inspection accuracy of vision system. Also this system has been developed only using PC, CCD Camera and Visual C++ for universal workplace.

  • This study was performed to develop effective management system of concrete structures in Nuclear Power Plants. This D/B system includes three kinds of data : 1)visual inspection data(cracking, spalling, etc.) 2) durability data carbonation, chloride attack, etc. 3) in-service inspection data(prestressing force. material properties, etc. ) By using the life management D/B System, the field engineers can easily acquire the information about the various inspection data. repair and accidental histories of structures. This system, will contribute to the efficient life management of concrete structures.
