  • The study on how visitors of a museum view exhibition is necessary for providing quality experience to the visitors. Previous studies on the movement of visitors of a museum focused on qualitative analysis after the follow-up survey. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find out various ways to use quantitative analysis methods on the movement of visitors in the museum. Quantitative analysis of the exhibition place and movement of visitors was conducted using programs to produce quantitative results from the space analysis including VAE, VGA, V-ERAM and ESA. VAE and VGA helped to understand the spatial structure and ESA was helpful to predict how the flow of human traffic would be in the museum. If the programs are used all together, it would be easier to quantitatively predict how the How of human traffic would be in an exhibition room. However, this study is in its infancy, so following studies are necessary based on more data and results of analysis in the future.

  • The purpose of this study was to suggest ways for practical food coordination, by examining restaurant-visitor' expectation factors for food coordination in restaurants. Statistical analyses were carried out based on the statistical data collected via survey from the restaurant. visitors. For the data analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, frequency analysis, t-test, and ANOVA were applied, using the SAS 9.1(ver.) program. In the results for the general perception of food coordination, the degree of recognition by restaurant visitors for food coordination is not high. However, necessity for food coordination is highly recognized and a 70% of the respondents were positive in their response about an expropriation price. Fitty percent of the respondents indicated a positive response regarding the relationship between the visual effect of the food and a re-visit to the restaurant. Therefore, most restaurant visitors believe food coordination is necessary in restaurants, and expect to pay for it in price.

  • The functions of urban open space, which embraces community revitalization, are diverse. It is the means of public healthcare, learning centers for children, hub of arts and cultural programs, as well as promoter of urban tourism. However, in-depth discourse and research on the topic of urban open spaces has been limited so far. Hence, this study aims to investigate the motivations and satisfaction of visitation based on four representative waterfront open space in Seoul; Cheongyecheon Waterfront, Seoul Forest Park, Seonyudo Park and Banpo Hangang Park. The methods of study are literature review, observation investigation, and questionnaire survey. The findings are analyzed through the Exploratory Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, ANOVA Analysis and Regression Analysis by SPSS 18.0. The results of the study are as follows. First, urban waterfront open spaces in Seoul has 5 factors of visitor motivation; community amenity, nature access, cultural and educational assets, aesthetic enjoyment, and lastly means of escape. Second, factors of recognizing urban waterfront open spaces as community amenity and nature access indicate meaningful differences in visitor's perception by spatial characteristics. Third, distances between the destination and the visitor's residence influence significantly their perceived motivation. Close-range visitors perceived nature access as a principal factor, whilst medium to long-range visitors perceived visitation for aesthetic purposes more importantly. Lastly, the will to escape was shown as the influential factor in visitor satisfaction. Visiting open spaces for the enjoyment of nature and aesthetic purposes were factors that also closely relate to visitor satisfaction. In addition, it was found that there are different visitor motivations that influence visitor satisfaction in accordance with the spatial characteristics of each open space. In summary, it can be said that urban waterfront open space is a hybrid space connected to various types of urban contents beyond daily experiences. It was found that several visitor motivations including community development, design aesthetics, education and culture, entertainment, enjoyment of natural landscape, and relaxation, affect the overall satisfaction of the visiting experience. It is anticipated that the results of the study will be used by the local government in setting up strategies for the creation and management of successful urban waterfront open space, and for those involved in planning and design act as a starting point for spatial programming and amenities arrangement in accordance to the city's tourism and urban marketing approach.

  • For the spatial experience of spectators visiting a museum, the route search of trying to follow the spatial structure or production of exhibition and the information search of trying to see are accomplished at the same time. In such process, the spectator's reaction of visual perception produces the result of emotional reaction and action exchanged between human and space by going through the recognition and perception on the target of environment factor. For the spatial experience of a spectator, the reaction of visual perception which interacts according to the exhibit and exhibition environment within space according to viewing purpose, interest and concern of spectator comes out as visual activity which is an activity to understand the spatial information shown as various activities according to spatial structure and unfolding characteristics of the display. The purpose of this study is to identify The Correlation of Spectator Movement Created According to Structural Form of Exhibition Area Based on Interaction between Exhibition Area Structure and Spectator to utilize as basic material while designing museum exhibition using isovist field which is a quantitative analysis tool of spectator's visual behavior and spatial structure at each exhibition area.

  • This study investigated the public opinion on the use and conservation management of national park, to manage the growing demand of national park visit and to support the policy direction of national park. So far, various surveys and big data analysis on the use and perception of national park have been conducted, but there have been limitations such as lack of survey questions on issues in park management and use. In addition, the object of the previous studies were limited to the national park visitors; therefore, this study expanded the object of survey from national park visitors to ordinary citizens. Unlike previous studies conducted only on national park visitors, ordinary citizens relatively prefered bottom areas rather than high-altitude ones. A policy to limit the visit to high-ridge area of mountain is being currently driven; however, the survey results of ordinary citizens suggested to maintain current policies or to increase visitor reservations system within narrow limits. On the other hand, the proportion of citizens who have used the visitor-reservation system was very small. We discuss the difference between national park visitors and ordinary citizens and the policy conditions according to changes in park management principles and public attitudes toward national parks.

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the purpose of introducing the system and the possibility of development by comparing the period before and after the implementation of the Korean Important Agricultural Heritage System (KIAHS) using big data. In terms of perception related to Ulleungdo Island, keywords related to accessibility were derived as higher keywords before and after designation, and in particular, keywords such as various approaches and new ports could be found after designation. It can be seen that positive perception increased after the designation of KIAHS, and the perception of good increased particularly. In addition, the exact name of wild greens and keywords for volcanic island appeared in common, but it was confirmed that the influence increased in the results of the centrality analysis after the designation. In other words, it was found that the designation of KIAHS was helpful in preserving traditional knowledge and developing traditional agricultural culture using it.

  • The atmosphere is a popular word in everyday life. There is often an atmosphere when we enter a particular place. As if to say, The mood is perceived as an emotional and subjective word. Atmosphere is subjective and there are different feelings, but there are definitely certain feelings that people can relate to. The researcher examines the question in the paper and analyzes how the atmosphere in the space could be explained. So I will research about $B{\ddot{o}}hme^{\prime}s$ aesthetics which is called atmosphere. and analysis how his atmosphere is applied in nowadays art. So this study has two purposes. First is the notion of the atmosphere, not the atmosphere of rational perspective, it's about emotional and perceptual experiences. Therefore a connection about audience and arts is the most important focus in atmosphere. So the other purpose is Olafur Eliasson's Atmosphere. he is an artist about this perception. His work requires spectator intervention and participation to make it a perfect art. There is also a element in Eliasson's philosophy, in which the perceptual experiences of visitor's relationship between the work and the viewer, and eliminates the boundary as a perceptual expression.

  • What kind of information is it got in an exhibition space? And any order is determined and can read an exhibition? Is application possible with interactive design in an exhibition space? All elements must be reflected in an information design in addition to a biological process and perception process. Various uncertainty, a little information about exhibition contents and negative attitude, various ways of thinking, time physical a few psychological fatigue, uncertain target will be for these reasons. When configuration of a space and a human biological element are satisfied in an information design by physical configuration, maximization of a communication between exhibition water and visitor firm names will consist in a museum.

  • Human being is experiencing the spaces with constant moves. The process of delivering information is worked by vision and perception communications. The aim of this specialized study is to analyze the processes of constructed experiences which visitors may choose the directions in the museum. Abstracting and investigating the recognizable and visual elements, we examine how those elements influence the audiences moving choices which reflect the propensity of people through mostly the experimental research. These cases would show the more effective results with proper harmony of different characters. To analyzing and adapt the recognizable and visual elements which effect the audiences moves from starting point, this research suggests the directions of plans in active spaces which would help the communication between the objects In the museums and people. This research is the basic study of maximizing the communication between audiences and exhibitions.
