색각검사법의 재현성 및 반복성평가 (Assessment of Reproducibility and Repeatability for Color Vision Test)

  • 목적: 본 연구는 색각검사법의 반복측정에 따른 결과의 재현성을 평가하기 위해 진행하였다. 방법: 연구 대상자는 선천성 색각이상을 가지고 있지 않은 일개 대학교 안경광학과 학생 30명이었다. 색각이상검사 종류는 한식색각검사와 Hans 15 hue 검사 그리고 Lanthony D 15 hue 검사를 선택하였고, 3명의 검사자를 비교하기 위한 검사에서는 이시하라검사도 추가하였다. 결과: 가성동색표에서는 모두 정상으로 분류되어졌으나, 색분별법에서는 1명이 약한청황색각이상을 보였다. 가성동색표는 3번의 측정 및 검사자간 결과값이 일치하였으며, 색분별법 반복 측정에서 경미한 오류들의 차이가 나타났다. 그러나 실제 색각이상자의 분류에 있어서는 반복측정에 따른 결과값이 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 결론: 각 검사자는 비교적 간단한 색각검사라도 좀더 숙련된 기술로 피험자를 대하는 것이 필요하다. 피험 자 역시 세 번의 측정으로 인한 경험에 의존하여 색각검사를 하기보다는 매 검사는 신중을 기해야 함이 요구되어 진다. 선별검사에서는 두 가지 검사의 병행이 요구되어진다.

Development of Training Instruments on Visual functions using HMD type Display and Investigation of its Demand

  • We constructed 3-D images by HMD (Head Mount Display) type and polarization technique through which a training instrument of binocular function based on clinical vision therapy was developed and investigated its demand. To design the instrument that performs Test- Diagnosis - (Prescription) - Training - Treatment we provided a customized training method for the trainers using optical IT instruments of binocular test. Through the contents and the instruments of the vision therapy technology developed in this work we can replace the current vision test instruments to those costing 60% lower price in eye clinics and eye glasses shops. By replacing the existing vision test instruments it is possible to create a new market of the vision therapy in vision training instruments.

Lee-Ryan Eye-Hand Coordination Test를 이용한 인위적 시력저하가 눈-손 협응능력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Artificially Decreased Visual Acuity upon Eye-Hand Coordination using Lee-Ryan Eye-Hand Coordination Test)

  • 목적: 최근 보고된 Lee-Ryan Eye-Hand Coordination(EHC) Test를 이용하여 정상안의 인위적 시력저하가 눈-손 협응능력(EHC)에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 정상시력을 가진 성인 11명($29.46{\pm}5.94$세)을 대상으로 비우위안에 볼록렌즈를 가입하여 인위적으로 근거리 약시 상태를 만들어 EHC를 검사하였고, 2주 후 정상 시력상태에서 다시 검사를 하였다. EHC를 알아보기 위해 Lee-Ryan EHC Test의 각기 다른 난이도의 7가지 모양을 선택하여 총 소요시간과 에러 횟수를 EHC의 분석 요소로 비교 분석하였다. 결과: 총 소요시간에서는 인위적으로 시력 저하된 눈이 정상 단안 시력보다 더 많은 시간을 소비하였고(p=0.013), 양안시 상태에서는 오히려 정상안 상태보다 저하된 시력을 가지고 더 빨리 검사를 끝마쳤다(p=0.001). 에러 횟수에서는 소요시간과 같이 저하된 시력이 더 많은 실수를 하였으나(p<0.001), 인위적으로 저하된 시력을 가진 상태에서 단안과 양안시의 차이는 보이지 않았다. 결론: 기존의 EHC 방법들이 갖고 있는 적용하는데 있어서의 한계들과 달리 간단한 컴퓨터 시스템을 기반으로 한 Lee-Ryan EHC Test로도 EHC의 이상(deficit)을 관찰 할 수 있었다. 후에 약시와 같은 시력저하에 관련된 분야에 더 많은 연구가 이루어 질 것으로 사료된다.

일 초등학교 1·2학년 아동과 학부모의 시력관련 지식 및 행태에 관한 조사 (A study on the Vision-related Knowledge and Behaviors of the 1st and 2nd graders of Primary School and their Parents in a City)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the visual acuity and the degree of vision-related knowledge and behaviors of the 1st and 2nd graders of primary school and their parents in a city. The research design was a descriptive study and the subjects were 579 pupils and their parents in Namwon City, Chonbuk province. Children's vision screening was conducted with Han's test by author, school nurse according to the guidelines. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, S.D., t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, $x^2$-test with SAS program. Subnormal visual acuity group (SVAG) in children was 17.3%, and was higher in girls and in the 2nd graders, but there were no significant differences statistically. The mean score of the vision-related knowledge in children was 6.8 points out of 10 points and that of vision-related behaviors was 23.5 points out of 33 points. The mean scores of the vision-related knowledge were significantly higher in 2nd graders (p= .02), in girls (p= .02) and SVAG (p= .01) and the group of high scores in vision-related knowledge presented significantly high scores in vision-related behaviors (p= .001). The mean score of the vision-related knowledge in parents was 6.4 points out of 10 points and that of vision-related behaviors was 28.4 points out of 33 points. The group with high scores of vision-related knowledge in parents presented significantly high scores in vision-related behaviors (p= .003). As SVAG were higher in 2nd graders and the group of high scores of vision-related knowledge showed also high scores in vision-related behaviors in both children and their parents, From the above results, the author suggests a school-based visual health program for them.

Preschool children medium-long distance stereoscopic vision testing

  • To test preschool children's medium- long distance stereoscopic vision normal average value, and intermittent strabismus children,s medium-long distance stereoscopic vision acuteness is the goal of this study. The software of random stereoscopic vision and graph, which is developed by Hu-Chong etc has been used, to test 414 cases normal preschool children and 19 cases intermittent exotropia childrens medium-long distance (1-5 m) stereoscopic vision (before operation and after operation). The normal average value of preschool children's medium-long distance stereoscopic vision was achieved. Intermittent exotropia children's stereoscopic vision acuteness was declined with the increase of distance. This method can provide reference as screening abnormal stereoscopic vision during scientific research and clinical work.

가상계측기반 실시간 영상유도 자동비행 시스템 구현 및 무인 로터기를 이용한 비행시험 (Implementation of Virtual Instrumentation based Realtime Vision Guided Autopilot System and Onboard Flight Test using Rotory UAV)

  • This paper investigates the implementation and flight test of realtime vision guided autopilot system based on virtual instrumentation platform. A graphical design process via virtual instrumentation platform is fully used for the image processing, communication between systems, vehicle dynamics control, and vision coupled guidance algorithms. A significatnt ojective of the algorithm is to achieve an environment robust autopilot despite wind and an irregular image acquisition condition. For a robust vision guided path tracking and hovering performance, the flight path guidance logic is combined in a multi conditional basis with the position estimation algorithm coupled with the vehicle attitude dynamics. An onboard flight test equipped with the developed realtime vision guided autopilot system is done using the rotary UAV system with full attitude control capability. Outdoor flight test demonstrated that the designed vision guided autopilot system succeeded in UAV's hovering on top of ground target within about several meters under geenral windy environment.

  • 한식(韓式) 2중 15색상 배열기는 다른 색각검사표로 색각 이상이 발견된 사람들에서 색각이상의 분류와 그 정도를 구분하여 직업 및 사회 적성검사로 이용되고 있다. 그러나 색각이상의 분류와 정도의 판정을 2중 색상 배열기의 기록용지에 그린 색채의 착오를 기초로 정성적으로 평가하기 때문에, 수학적인 분석을 위한 적절한 정량적인 점수를 얻을 수는 없다. 이 논문은 대상자들의 색채착오를 기초로 한식(韓式) 2중 15색상 배열기의 정량적인 점수화 방법을 위한 새로운 제안이다. 이 프로그램을 이용하면 많은 2중 15색상 배열검사 결과들을 쉽고 빠르게 조작할 수 있고, 특정한 형태의 색각이상 정도를 집단간 비교할 수 있으며, 질병경과가 다양한 후천성 색각이상을 지속적으로 감시할 수 있도록 도움을 준다.

진자검사 계측을 위한 영상 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Vision System for the Measurement of the Pendulum Test)

  • The purpose of this work is to develop a measurement system of the pendulum test with minimal restriction of experimental environment and little influence of noise. In this work, we developed a vision system without any line between markers and a camera. The system performance is little influenced by the experimental environment, if light are sufficient to recognize markers. For the validation of the system, we compared knee joint angle trajectories measured by the developed system and by the magnetic sensor system during the nominal pendulum test and the maximum speed voluntary knee joint rotation. The joint angle trajectories of the developed system during both tests matched well with those of the magnetic system. Therefore, we suggest the vision system as an alternative to the previous systems with limited practicality for the pendulum test.

Acupuncture Therapy for Color Vision Defects

  • Objectives: We have treated people who have color vision defects with oriental medicine; here we demonstrate several representative cases to illustrate the effectiveness of our treatment. Material and methods: We recruited study patients who visited one oriental hospital for color vision defects. We show several representative cases to illustrate the effectiveness of our treatment. The study initially consisted of 178 subjects who took part during a 3-year period. Subjects, all of whom consented to this treatment and trial, were classified by those who have a color vision defect and those who don't by the Ishihara test and another by the Hahn color vision test. We tried color vision correction treatment with acupuncture. Acupuncture therapy where the retina and optic nerves were activated was conducted in parallel with vision correction. Assessment of therapy was conducted at 30 times, 60 times, 90 times, or 120 times of therapy. Results: Assessment of therapy was performed by conducting treatment 30 times, 60 times, 90 times, or 120 times. Surprisingly, all subjects could correctly recognize color after the treatment; although there were case by case differences according to the number of therapy treatments each individual received. Conclusions: Color vision defects can be treated. To enable those with color vision defects to enjoy better quality of life and increased opportunity in color vision-dependent job fields, therapy to correct the problem is a viable option.

융복합적 비전테라피가 ADHD 경향 아동의 증상과 시지각에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Convergence Vision Therapy on Symptoms and Visual Perception in Children with ADHD tendency)

  • 본 연구는 비전테라피가 시각 문제를 가지고 있는 ADHD 경향 아동의 증상과 시지각 기술을 향상시키는지 알아보고자 한다. 본 연구의 대상자는 ADHD 경향이 있는 아동 중 시각적인 문제를 가지고 있는 아동 10명이다. 비전테라피 전·후로 시각 기능 검사, 시지각 운동협응 검사, 시지각 기술 검사, ADHD 평가척도 검사를 실시하였다. 비전테라피는 주 2회, 6개월~1년 동안 실시되었다. 비전테라피 후에 대상자 모두 시각기능의 시력, 입체시, 버전스 범위, 폭주 근점에서 정상 범위에 도달했으며, 시각 기능과 시지각 기술이 향상되었고 ADHD 증상에 대한 점수가 낮아진 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 비전테라피가 ADHD 경향을 가진 아동들의 증상과 시지각을 개선하고 시각문제를 해결하는데 활용될 수 있는 것으로 보인다.
