스마트 철도역사시스템 구축을 위한 영상기반 기술 분석 (Analysis of Vision based Technology for Smart Railway Station System)

  • 최근에는 딥러닝 기술 등을 활용한 영상기반 기술들이 많이 연구되고 있다. 또한 영상기반 기술을 철도역사 시스템에 적용한 지능형 운영 및 관리 시스템 개발을 위한 많은 연구들이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 철도역사 승객 및 시설 감시, 철도승강장 감시, 철도역사 화재 감시, 그리고 철도역사 운용 및 설계를 더욱 효율적으로 할 수 있는 스마트 철도역사시스템 구축을 위하여 영상기반 기술을 활용한 국내외 연구들을 분석한다. 그리고 앞으로 새로운 영상기반 기술을 적용하여 스마트 철도역사시스템 구축에 필요한 시스템을 개발하는 연구의 방향을 제시한다.

Force monitoring of steel cables using vision-based sensing technology: methodology and experimental verification

  • Steel cables serve as the key structural components in long-span bridges, and the force state of the steel cable is deemed to be one of the most important determinant factors representing the safety condition of bridge structures. The disadvantages of traditional cable force measurement methods have been envisaged and development of an effective alternative is still desired. In the last decade, the vision-based sensing technology has been rapidly developed and broadly applied in the field of structural health monitoring (SHM). With the aid of vision-based multi-point structural displacement measurement method, monitoring of the tensile force of the steel cable can be realized. In this paper, a novel cable force monitoring system integrated with a multi-point pattern matching algorithm is developed. The feasibility and accuracy of the developed vision-based force monitoring system has been validated by conducting the uniaxial tensile tests of steel bars, steel wire ropes, and parallel strand cables on a universal testing machine (UTM) as well as a series of moving loading experiments on a scale arch bridge model. The comparative study of the experimental outcomes indicates that the results obtained by the vision-based system are consistent with those measured by the traditional method for cable force measurement.

A completely non-contact recognition system for bridge unit influence line using portable cameras and computer vision

  • Currently most of the vision-based structural identification research focus either on structural input (vehicle location) estimation or on structural output (structural displacement and strain responses) estimation. The structural condition assessment at global level just with the vision-based structural output cannot give a normalized response irrespective of the type and/or load configurations of the vehicles. Combining the vision-based structural input and the structural output from non-contact sensors overcomes the disadvantage given above, while reducing cost, time, labor force including cable wiring work. In conventional traffic monitoring, sometimes traffic closure is essential for bridge structures, which may cause other severe problems such as traffic jams and accidents. In this study, a completely non-contact structural identification system is proposed, and the system mainly targets the identification of bridge unit influence line (UIL) under operational traffic. Both the structural input (vehicle location information) and output (displacement responses) are obtained by only using cameras and computer vision techniques. Multiple cameras are synchronized by audio signal pattern recognition. The proposed system is verified with a laboratory experiment on a scaled bridge model under a small moving truck load and a field application on a footbridge on campus under a moving golf cart load. The UILs are successfully identified in both bridge cases. The pedestrian loads are also estimated with the extracted UIL and the predicted weights of pedestrians are observed to be in acceptable ranges.

A Study on Public Library Book Location Guidance System based on AI Vision Sensor

  • The role of the library is as a public institution that provides academic information to a variety of people, including students, the general public, and researchers. These days, as the importance of lifelong education is emphasized, libraries are evolving beyond simply storing and lending materials to complex cultural spaces that share knowledge and information through various educational programs and cultural events. One of the problems library user's faces is locating books to borrow. This problem occurs because of errors in the location of borrowed books due to delays in updating library databases related to borrowed books, incorrect labeling, and books temporarily located in different locations. The biggest problem is that it takes a long time for users to search for the books they want to borrow. In this paper, we propose a system that visually displays the location of books in real time using an AI vision sensor and LED. The AI vision sensor-based book location guidance system generates a QR code containing the call number of the borrowed book. When the AI vision sensor recognizes this QR code, the exact location of the book is visually displayed through LED to guide users to find it easily. We believe that the AI vision sensor-based book location guidance system dramatically improves book search and management efficiency, and this technology is expected to have great potential for use not only in libraries and bookstores but also in a variety of other fields.

위성항법시스템과 비전시스템 융합 기술 기반의 신뢰성있는 위치 측위에 관한 연구 (A Study of a Reliable Positioning Based on Technology Convergence of a Satellite Navigation System and a Vision System)

  • 이 논문은 위성항법시스템의 문제점인 위치오차와 실외음영지역을 해소하기 위하여 위성항법시스템과 비전시스템을 융합한 신뢰성있는 고정밀 측위 기술을 제안하였다. 동적단독측위에서 이동체는 이동 위치에 따라 사용할 수 있는 위성항법시스템의 수가 변화한다, 위치 측위를 위해서는 최소 4개 이상의 위성항법시스템으로부터 위치정보데이터를 수신 받아야 한다. 그러나 도심지역에서는 고층건물이나 장애물 또는 반사파에 의해 정확한 위치측위가 어렵다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 비전 시스템을 이용하였다. 위성항법시스템을 사용하기 열악한 도심지역의 특정 건물에 정확한 위치값을 결정해 놓는다. 그리고 비전시스템을 통해 특정 건물을 인식하고, 인식된 건물을 이용하여 위치오차를 보정해 준다. 이동체는 이동하면서 비전시스템을 이용하여 특정 건물을 인식하며 위치 데이터값을 만들어내고, 위치계산을 수정하여 안정되고 신뢰성있는 고정밀 위치측위를 할 수 있다.

  • Recently, the research of the FPD(Flat Panel Display)which is substituted for CRT(Cathode Ray Tube) has been widely progressed. But most equipment that are used for production of FPD are expensive and we must import these equipment. Among these equipment, most important one is a auto-alignment system. In this paper, we present a high speed, high precision auto-alignment system, in which a PLD auto tuning algorithm, 1-dimensional CCD(Dcharge Coupled Device) camera, vision board, and vision data processing algorithm are included.

  • 광섬유는 코어(Core), 클레드(Clad), 그리고 1,2차 코팅(Coating)으로 구성되어 있다. 본 연구에서는 광섬유의 코팅에 생기는 결함의 유무 및 종류와 크기를 분류하는 Vision System을 구현하였다. 전처리 과정으로, CCD Camera를 이용하여 얻은 화상에 대하여 Sobel 연산자로 경계선을 추출하고, 문턱값(Threshold Value)을 적용하여 이진 화상을 만든다. 외경 정보 추출을 위하여, 투영 정보, 수리 형태학(Mathematical Morphology)적 연산을 수행하고, 결함의 종류와 크기를 효율적으로 분류하도록 Tree Classifier를 설계하였다. 실험 결과로서 각 결함 별 오차율, 전체 오차율(Total Error Rate)등을 제시하였다.

  • In order to monitor the belt from being damaged by impact of large lump of materials in ores being transported on conveyor belt, we developed a conveyor belt monitoring system using vision. By the information such as the position and size of the damage of belt obtained by vision system, it is expected that not only the span of belt life will be lengthened, but also this system can enable operators to plan scheduled maintenance and prevent the enlargement of damaged parts in conveyor belt at an early stage

  • This Paper of use vision system, there is no DGPS's information, DGPS data value receives real time exactly without being influenced in surroundings environment because using vision system that is used in self-regulation traveling by car system.   • Through welding fabrication, user can feel an surficaial and capable unsatisfaction because of welded defects, Generally speaking, these are called weld defects. For checking these defects effectively without time loss effectively, weldability estimation system setup isan urgent thing for detecting whole specimen quality. In this study, by laser vision camera, catching a rawdata on welded specimen profiles, treating vision processing with these data, qualititative defects are estimated from getting these information at first. At the same time, for detecting quantitative defects, whole specimen weldability estimation is pursued by multifeature pattern recognition, which is a kind of fuzzy pattern recognition. For user friendly, by weldability estimation results are shown each profiles, final reports and visual graphics method, user can easily determined weldability. By applying these system to welding fabrication, these technologies are contribution to on-line weldability estimation.
