The Sun's ray is composed of Infared(49%), Visible light(40%) and Ultra violet(11%), however the ray getting to the earth is FIR(60%). IR(20%), and UV(20%). Human beings has utilized FIR already from time immemorial. Hershel found out Infrared for the first time, in the Industrial Revolution the Infrared and FI R had been begun to use making products. In asia. also, asian already has made use of FIR to treat the body, product things and make warm the house in the winter, as it had been called Wull therapy, fermentation. and On-Dol system. In these days, with contemporary science FIR would be begun to clear up the implication in the human body and organic compounds. IR classified by wavelength three parts NIR, MIR, FIR. There is FIR which is radiated from healthy human body the wave length is 8-14 m. It is difficult to standardized the wavelength of IR, since each related associations have a different opinion, so we suggested ideal IR wavelength and biological, phsiotherapical, medical FIR wavelength.
Colors have been derived from the observed optical spectrum of Mars and Jupiter. It is known that the planets and the Moon emit reflected sunlight and thus their spectra are similar to the spectrum of solar radiation. The question was then why is the color of Mars different from that of other planets, i.e. red, although it would share the same spectrum of reflected sunlight. Can one derive color from the spectrum? Therefore, we observed the optical spectra of the scattered sunlight in day time for the Moon and Mars using a 1-D array spectrograph on the 12-inch reflecting telescope in the Korea Science Academy of KAIST in Busan, Korea. We adopted the International Commission on Illumination (CIE) in 1931 of three spectral sensitivity peaks for the human eye in short, medium and long wavelengths in visible light. The observed spectra were imposed on CIE sensitivities and the color detected by the human eye was derived. The Mars spectrum represents red color and the Moon white. It is a similar color to that which a human would see. This result means that color is easily derived from astronomical spectra. The appearance of the planets surface can be determined for Mars, which is the result of iron oxide.

In order to reduce the spread of infection due to COVID-19, South Korea has established a four-step social distancing standard and implemented it by changing the steps based on the rate of confirmed cases. The implementation of social distancing brought about a change in the amount of activity of citizens by limiting social contact such as movement and gathering of people. One of the data that can intuitively confirm this is Night Time Light (NTL). NTL is a variable that can measure the size of the national economy measured using lights captured by satellites, and can be used to understand people's social activities during the night. The NTL visible data is obtained via the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) Day-Night Band (DNB) onboard the Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (S-NPP) satellite. 1023 of Suomi data from 1 January 2019 until 26 October 2021 were collected to generate time series of NTL radiance change over Seoul to analyze the correlation with social distancing policy. The results show that implementing the level of social distancing generally decreased the NTL radiance both in spatial disparities and temporal patterns. The higher level of policy, limiting human activities combined with the low number of people who have been vaccinated and the closure of various facilities. Because of social distancing, the differences in human activities affected the nighttime light during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in Seoul, South Korea. Therefore, this study can be used as a reference for the government in evaluating and improving policies related to efforts reducing the transmission of COVID-19.
We propose a new method of masking cloud-affected pixels in satellite ocean color imageries such as of GLI. Those pixels, mostly found around cloud pixels or in scattered cloud area, have anomalous features in either in chlorophyll-a estimate or in water reflectance. This artifact is most likely caused by residual error of inter-band registration correction. Our method is to check the pixel-wise 'soundness' of the spectral water reflectance Rw retrieved after the atmospheric correction. First, we define two spectral ratio between water reflectance, IRR1 and IRR2, each defined as RW(B1)/RW (B3) RW (B3) and as RW (B2)/RW(B4) respectively, where $B1{\sim}B4$ stand for 4 consecutive visible bands. We show that an almost linear relation holds over log-scaled IRR1 and IRR2 for shipmeasured RW data of SeaBAM in situ data set and for GLI cloud-free Level 2 sub-scenes. The method we propose is to utilize this nature, identifying those pixels that show significant discrepancy from that relationship. We apply this method to ADEOS-II/GLI ocean color data to evaluate the performance over Level-2 data, which includes different water types such as case 1, turbid case 2 and coccolithophore bloom waters.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of repeated fasting and refeeding on lipid metabolism. Thirty male ICR mice, aged 6 weeks, were fed an AIN-93 control diet during the experimental period. The mice were divided into 5 groups: Non fasting group (ad libitum-fed, NF), fasting for 3 days (F), fasting for 3 days and then refeeding for 4 days repeated once (FRF1), fasting for 3 days and then refeeding for 4 days repeated twice (FRF2), and fasting for 3 days and then refeeding for 4 days repeated three times (FRF3). Rates of body weight gain, epididymal fat weight, and serum TG were significantly decreased in the F, FRF1, FRF2, and FRF3 groups, compared to the NF group. LDL-cholesterol was significantly higher in the FRF3 group than the NF and F groups, but HDL-cholesterol and HDL/TC were significantly lower in the FRF3 group than in the NF and F groups. Serum total carnitine was significantly lower in the FRF1, FRF2, FRF3 groups than the NF and F groups. However, rates of serum and hepatic acyl-carnitine concentration were significantly lower in FRF1, FRF2, and FRF3 than in NF and F. Repeated tasting-refeeding resulted in visible reductions of body weight and fat mass, but it caused ill-effects with lipid and carnitine metabolism in the body.
With the prospect that integrating creative AI in the fashion design field will become more visible, this study considered the case of creative fashion design development through Human-AI Co-creation (HAIC). Methodologically, this research encompasses a literature review and empirical investigations. In the literature review, the fashion design and creative HAIC processes, and the possibilities of integrating AI in fashion design were considered. In the empirical study, based on the case analysis of generating fashion design through HAIC, the HAIC type according to the role and interaction method, and characteristics of humans and AI was considered, and the HAIC process for fashion design was derived. The results of this study are summarized as follows. First, HAIC types in fashion design are divided into four types: AI-driven passive HAIC, human-driven passive HAIC, flexible interaction-based HAIC, and integrated interaction-based value creation HAIC. Second, the stages of the HAIC process for creative fashion design can be broadly divided into semantic data integration, visual ideation, design creation and expansion, design presentation, and design/manufacturing solution and UX platform creation. Third, in fashion design, HAIC contributes to human ability, enhancement of creativity, achievement of efficient workflow, and creation of new values. This research suggests that HAIC has the potential to revolutionize the fashion design industry by facilitating collaboration between humans and AI; consequently, enhancing creativity, and improving the efficiency of the design process. It also offers a framework for understanding the different types of HAIC and the stages involved in the creative fashion design process.
Volume visualization is an important subarea of scientific visualization, and is concerned with techniques that are effectively used in generating meaningful and visual information from abstract and complex volume datasets, defined in three- or higher-dimensional space. It has been increasingly important in various fields including meteorology, medical science, and computational fluid dynamics, and so on. On the other hand, virtual reality is a research field focusing on various techniques that aid gaining experiences in virtual worlds with visual, auditory and tactile senses. In this paper, we have developed a visualization system for CAVE, an immersive 3D virtual environment system, which generates stereoscopic images from huge human volume datasets in real-time using an improved volume visualization technique. In order to complement the 3D texture-mapping based volume rendering methods, that easily slow down as data sizes increase, our system utilizes an image-based rendering technique to guarantee real-time performance. The system has been designed to offer a variety of user interface functionality for effective visualization. In this article, we present detailed description on our real-time stereoscopic visualization system, and show how the Visible Korean Human dataset is effectively visualized on CAVE.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the clinical usefulness of plasma arc light which can reduce the curing time dramatically compared by shear bond strengths and failure patterns of the brackets bonded with visible light in direct bracket bonding. Some kinds of brackets were bonded with the Transbond$^{\circledR}$ to the human premolars which were embedded in the resin blocks according to the various conditions. After bonding, the shear bond strength was tested by Instron universal testing machine and in addition , the amount of residual adhesive remaining on the tooth after debonding was measured by the stereoscope and assessed with adhesive remnant index(ARI). The results were as follows : 1. When plasma arc light was used for bonding the brackets, the shear bond strength was clinically sufficient in both metal and ceramic brackets, but resin brackets showed significantly lower bond strength but which was clinically useful. 2. When metal brackets were bonded using visible light, there was no significant difference in shear bond strength due to the light-curing time and the bond strength was clinically sufficient. 3. When the adhesive failure patterns of brackets bonded with plasma arc light were observed by using the adhesive remnant index, the bond failure of the metal and resin bracket occurred more frequently at bracket-adhesive interface but the failure of the ceramic bracket occurred more frequently at enamel-adhesive interface. 4. There was no statistically significant difference of the shear bond strength and adhesive failure pattern between metal bracket bonded for 2 seconds by curing with plasma arc light and 10 seconds by curing with visible light. 6. When metal brackets were bonded using plasma arc light, the shear bond strength decreased as the distance from the light source increased. The above results suggest that plasma arc light can be clinically useful for bonding the brackets without fear of the decrease of the shear bond strength.

A variety of wireless devices are commercially available now. Most of studies, however, have been directed to the biological effects of mobile-phone EMF. In this paper, dosimetric analysis for wireless devices of head-mounted display type and a wristwatch type were made to investigate possible biological effects of these devices. SAR(Specific Absorption Rate) distributions were calculated using FDTD(Finite Difference Time Domain) method, for adult human models such as standard Korean human model and VHP(Visible Human Project) model, as well as scaled child models. Measurements were also performed for SAM phantom wearing a simplified prototype for a wireless device for validation of the simulation results. It has been found that children are more vulnerable to such exposure, and these devices could cause some biological effects even for relatively lower power compared to conventional mobile pones.
This study investigated the dyeability on silk, wool and rotten fabrics dyed with Magnolia liliflora leafs. In addition, the fastness of washing, perspiration, rubbing, drycleaning and the effects of its pigment on bacterial reduction and uv-B protection were also investigated. The results were as follows : It was found that uv-visible absorption spectrum showed two strong absorption peaks in the range of $250{\sim}340nm$. The optimum dyeing condition of the pigments extracted from the Magnolia liliflora leafs was dyeing with 0.5% mordants and three repeated dyeing at $95^{\circ}C$ for 1hr. When the wool fabric was dyed with Magnolia liliflora leaf, dyeing properties was the best among the three fabrics. Washing fastness of dyed fabrics was very low, drycleaning fastness was good and the other fastness were good. Light fastness of three fabrics dyed by Magnolia liliflora leafs increased by mordant treatment, especially copper sulfate treatment. The bacterial reduction and uv-B protection of dyed wool fabric with Magnolia liliflora leafs also increased.
