Koreans' traditional view on death has been much influenced by Confucianism, Taoism, Buddhism, and shamanism since ancient times. Confucianism emphasizes the importance of the real life in this world and highly praises doing good deeds for the family and the community. It also praises people who are enlightened by education and self-discipline. Confucian scholars admit that death cannot be understood by rational thinking although it is unavoidable as a cosmic order. Taoism sees life as the same entity as death; Both are two different aspects of the same cosmos or the wholeness. However, the disciples of Taoism became much interested in a long life and well being that may be achieved by harmonizing with the cosmic order. Buddhism thinks that death and life are an "illusion". It says that people can be enlightened by recognizing the fact that "Nothing is born and nothing is dying in this world. Everything is the product of your mind occupied with false belief." However, secular Buddhists believe in the afterlife and metempsychosis of the soul. This belief is sometimes connected with the view of the traditional shamanism. Shamanism dichotomizes the world between "this world" and "that world". After death, the person's soul travels to "that world", where it may influence life of people who reside in "this world". And shamans who are spiritual beings living in "this world" mediate souls and living people. In conclusion, there are various views and beliefs regarding death, which are influenced by a number of religions and philosophies. They should be seriously considered when making a medical decision regarding the end of patients' life.
A purpose of this study is to understand Platonic View of Health in $\boxDr$Politeia$\boxUl$. Though Plato was not so much a doctor as a philosopher. he had health care of children at heart. He mapped out an ideal type of nation in $\ulcorner$Politeia$\lrcorner$. and he founded a Akademeia in order to realize his dreams. In his course of education. he put emphasis on the problem of health. He extended poetry education for mental health and physical education for physical health. He placed high value on mental health above physical health. and poetry education corresponds to our reading education of today. He perceived that reading had a considerable influence on mental health promotion. According to his assertion, life style, too. had something to do with health condition. To lead a simple. temperate life makes one' health promote, on the other hand, to lead a complicated, intemperate life makes one' health injure. Morever, he approved of a eugenic marriage and the law of jungle. If one is unable to take care of one' health oneself. he would rather die than live. We cannot accept this proposal by general consent. but we cannot be too careful of our health. We can draw out a philosophy of health from Platonic View of Health. For example. the importance of health education. the preference of mental health. the influence of reading education. and responsibility for self-care, etc. We need to establish a philosophy of health scientifically by lasting study of records.

As a study on a traditional garden with historical value, the objective of this study is to comprehensively understand the internal meanings of the garden in a designer's personal perspective. Tasanchodangwon was designed Chung Yakyong who is a scholar of Practical Learning in late Chosun Dynasty. Considering the features of him and basic approach of this study, the internal eanings of the Tasanchodangwon was approached with the focus on the view of nature of him, and through general review of physical components of the garden. Additionally the meanings of the garden were also reviewed in his personal situation. The result of the study may be summarized as followings. First, according to the view of nature of Chung Yakyong, his intention to enrich life practically by building separate structures for education for his residence, creating lake by having water supply, and creating vegetable garden relates with the view of nature in Primary confucianistic perspective. In addition, the place served as a ground to support Chung Yakyong's attitude to become a man of virtue, Second, his preference to enjoyu tea culture allowed an opportunity for him to accept circumstance positively and discover the self. Components related to farming reflects his Practical Learning. The man-made rock mountain in the pond is a specific technique for Yi-Jing. And third, literatures authored by Chung Yakyong show that internal meaning of Tasanchodangwon is to pursue an utopia. This is closely related to solving his conflicts felt in reality. In short, Tasanchodangwon is a form reflecting the spiritual world of Chung Yakyong, and through interaction with his life, served as a ground to culture his mind.
The purpose of this study was to accept its contents as lessons for today and to search for the correct way to lead home economy of the future by way of retranslating home economic view in literatures and documents of Cho-sun Dynasty(1392-1910) Through studying Cho-sun's literatures and documents: 「Ne-hun」 by the queen So He 「Kyou-dyoung-yo-ram」by Lee Whang 「Kyung-mong-yo-kul」by Lee Yul 「Song-ho-sa-sul」by Lee IK 「Sa-so-jol」by Lee Duk Moo「Buk-hak-ee」 by Park Je Ka 「Mok-min-sim-su」 by Jung Yak Yong. The results of this study can be summarized as follows : 1. The view of income: 1) Cut down on the too much greed of property (property income) 2) Work hard with diligence(earned income). 2. The view of expense : 1) Get food clothing and housing with frugality 2) Spend money for home rites and reception of guests with manner and truth without extravagnace. 3. The view of buying and selling: Buy and sell with credit. 4. The view of borrowing and lending: Borrow and lend money honestly,. 5. The view of home book-keeping : Keep home book-keeping every day. 6. The view of economic preparation : Save for a rainy day wisely.
The Four Tenets of Daesoon thought are the Creative conjunction of the virtues of Eum and Yang, the Harmonious union of divine beings and human beings, the Resolution of grievances for the mutual beneficence of all life and the Realization of the Dao in the world. This article compares the concepts of the "Creative conjunction of the virtues of Eum and Yang", the "Harmonious union of divine beings and human beings" and the "Resolution of grievances for the mutual beneficence of all life" with "EumYangDaeDaeRon", "ShinMyonKiDeok", the Theory of Mutual Giving Life / Mutual Destruction (SangSaeng/SangGeukRon) of the Book of Changes and analyzes their common and different points. The conclusion is that Daesoon thought and the philosophy of the Book of Changes share common fundamental standpoints. However, the Daesoon thought defines the world of SeonCheon (the state before the Heaven and Earth have been created) as Mutual Giving Life (SangSaeng), and the world of HuCheon (the state after the Heaven and Earth have been created) as Mutual Destruction (SangGeuk). According to Daesoon thought the Mutual Destruction (SangGeuk) is seen as negative, while according to the philosophy of the Book of Changes the Theory of Mutual Giving Live/Mutual Destruction (SangSaeng/SangGeukRon) is viewed as a positive relationship of EumYangDaeDae. This is a point of difference between the Daesoon thought and the philosophy of the Book of Changes. According to EumYangDaeDae relationship theory the contradictory "other" is viewed not as an enemy, but as a necessary element that assures one's existence. When Buddhism and Christianity first came to existence, they did not belong to a main stream. Later, through continuous theorization and systematization they became generally accepted religions. The case of Confucianism was not much different. During Song dynasty in China Buddhism has contributed to the systematization and establishment of Neo-Confucianism; in the middle of 20th century the Confucian scholars of Hong Kong and Taiwan interpreted and defined Confucianism a new in the light of Western philosophy. Thus the "Modern Neo-Confucianism" came to existence. That's why the history of Confucianism is also called "the history of advancing and developing a concept". From this point of view the critical acceptance of some elements of Confucian, Buddhist, Taoist etc. traditions, as well as modern philosophy, by Daesoon, in order to achieve the systematization of Daesoon thought, is a very important process. As a part of this process, this essay explains the Daesoon thought from the point of view of the Book of Changes, which may be said to present the original East-Asian view of the world. Daesoon's emphasis of human dignity, the equality of sexes, the critics the hierarchical society etc. are rather "modern" and should be examined from the point of view of social science. Besides, leaving the boundaries of "modern philosophy", the concepts of "Harmonious union of divine beings and human beings", viewing the universe as one organism etc. should be approached from the point of view of Post-Modernism.

This paper was written on the purpose of examining and analyzing Sungho's view of geography in 'Cheonjimun(天地門)', a part of 'Sunghosaseol(星湖僿說)'. Sungho is not a geographer who specialized in geography, His view is neither structural in methodological approach nor profound in geographical thought. Unfortunately, he looks to be possessed by geomantic thought(風水地理思想) in explaining geographical features and native customs. And he focused and emphasized only on defensive function in place location. As a whole, however, he had a good grasp of and analyzed about geographical topics which are related to human life and we must take interest in. Therefore, in his view, there is a love for country and hometown. Especially, it has to be highly appreciated that he tried to explain his view in analytical and practical perspective with an unspoken advice which things necessary for human life have to be used to available knowledge.
The purpose of this study was to develop a visibility evaluation system for cabin type combine. Human's field of view was classified into five levels (perceptive, effective, stable gaze, induced, and auxiliary) depending on rotation of human's head and eye. Divider, reaper lever, gearshift, dashboard, and conveying part were considered as major viewpoints of combine. Visibilities of combine was evaluated quantitatively using the viewpoints and the human's field of view levels. The visibility evaluation system for cabin type combine was consisted of a laser pointer, stepping motors to control the direction of view, gyro sensors to measure horizontal and vertical angle, and I/O interface to acquire the signals. Tests were conducted with different postures ('sitting straight', 'sitting with $15^{\circ}$ tilt', 'standing straight', and 'standing with $15^{\circ}$ tilt'). The LSD (least significant difference) multiple comparison tests showed that the visibilities of viewpoints were different significantly as the operator's postures were changed. The results showed that the posture at standing with $15^{\circ}$ tilt provided the best visibility for operators. The divider of the combine was invisible due to blocking with the cabin frame at many postures. The reaper lever showed good visibilities at the postures of sitting or standing with $15^{\circ}$ tilt. The gearshift, the dashboard, and the conveying part had reasonable visibilities at the posture of sitting with $15^{\circ}$ tilt. However, most viewpoints of the combine were out of the stable gaze field of view level. Modifications of the combine design will be required to enhance the visibility during harvesting operation for farmers' safety and convenience.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to understand the factors having effects on the view of marriage of female university students, and also to present the reference data for establishing the measures for having the positive view of marriage of female university students. Methods: An online survey was conducted targeting total 254 female university students of two universities in Gyeonggi region, from October 1 st to November 13th 2020. The results of this study are as follows. Results: First, to the question related to the intent to marry, total 70% of them responded that they had intent to marry. In the time of marriage, they said they would marry when getting financially stable. The 30% of subjects said that they would choose non-marriage because they wanted to continuously enjoy free life and they did not want to bear burden related to childbirth and child-rearing. Second, in the results of analyzing differences in the view of marriage according to the general characteristics, the students with intent to marry showed the higher romantic view of marriage, instrumental view of marriage, and exclusive view of marriage than the students without intent to marry, which showed significant differences. Third, the view of marriage were the factors having the greatest effects on the intent to marry of female university students. Conclusion: Based on such results of this study, it would be necessary to focus on the policies that could positively change the view of marriage of female university students. It would be needed to establish the social·institutional support measures for work-life balance by reducing women's burden of childbirth and child-rearing. To the question about the time of marriage, the most subjects responded that they would do so when the economic ability and stable job were equipped. Thus, there should be the systematic youth employment support system that could help the students to quickly and stably enter society and to become financially independent after graduation. Also, for the formation of positive family relation, it would be necessary to develop·operate the educational programs for forming positive family relation and desirable communication methods for each subject(spouse, parents, children, siblings, and etc.).

n view of the role of haptoglobin as a candidate for physical performance, we investigated the protein polymorphism of the haptoglobin in elite Korean male athletes. The serum sample was collected from 120 Korean male eliteathletes. The haptoglobin phenotypes were determined by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, followed by peroxidase staining. (omitted)
We present a new biometric identification system based on multi-view features of teeth using principal components analysis(PCA). The multi-view features of teeth consist of the frontal view, the left side view and the right side view. In this paper, we try to stan the foundations of a dental biometrics for secure access in real life environment. We took the pictures of the three views teeth in the experimental environment designed specially and 42 principal components as the features for individual identification were developed. The classification for individual identification based on the nearest neighbor(NN) algorithm is created with the distance between the multi-view teeth and the multi-view teeth rotated. The identification performance after rotating two degree of test data is 95.2% on the left side view teeth and 91.3% on the right side view teeth as the average values.
