Design and Implementation of Video Seminar System based on SNS-Web Platform (SNS-웹 플랫폼 기반 영상세미나 시스템의 설계 및 구현)

  • In this paper, we design and implement a SNS-web platform based video seminar system which supports effective information sharing and cooperation. The proposed system has 3 characteristics. First, a user can take part in Web-based video seminar without installing a specific hardware or software because our system has been developed with Java Web Start. Secondly, our system can be executed on various operating systems and internet web browsers. Thirdly, our system can support the expert knowledge sharing and cooperation among experts who are connected on SNS because the system operate on SNS-web platform. Finally, we show from our performance analysis that our system is efficient in terms of average delay time.

  • In this study, several important aspects were studied in producing video advertisements based on the lifestyle and SNS status of Generation Z. Generation Z highly values participation and interaction due to the nature of SNS, so SNS advertisements should be produced in a way that induces active interaction with viewers and accepts feedback. Here's a summary of the main parts. It prefers various content formats of Generation Z that consume information. Advertisements should be produced in various formats such as text, images, and videos, and should have flexibility suitable for various platforms. Because each SNS platform has its own characteristics due to platform specialization, this study suggests that advertisements analyze the characteristics of the platform and use the appropriate content strategy for the optimized platform. As an emphasis on value proposition, we propose an advertising format setting to focus on what value the product or brand provides. It is important to clearly emphasize the advantages and intrinsic value of a product or service in video advertising, and in conclusion, we propose to focus on the case of increasing interest by adopting modern and trendy design of storytelling as an attractive and unique design method of aesthetic design and visual effects. Considering these factors comprehensively, the research value of this paper will be able to establish an effective SNS marketing strategy by producing video advertisements that match the lifestyle and SNS usage characteristics of Generation Z.

  • The marketing which uses SNS, which has the most biggest growth since appearance of Facebook, is proved to be effective, then many companies make variable attempts of marketing by using Facebook. This paper presents the method of marketing using videos, that has a major part in Facebook, and the method to raise their ratings. By using the video play button it registers information of the videos in Facebook then shares them to other people in real-time through inner News Feed. Therefore, we can maximize effect of marketing through viral marketing to use other users responses.

  • In this paper, we propose a procedure to multiple SNS channels automatic streaming through multiple output channels including the output channel of an external streaming server. The multiple SNS channels automatic streaming server includes an output management module for controlling the transmission of video contents to RELAY module that establish two or more output channels. In this paper, we experimented by separate with HD and FHD video using RELAY module in multiple SNS channel automatic streaming. In stream modules using RELAY module of HD video, when the publisher client and the player client and the RELAY module are 1 channel, the occupancy rate of CPU is 0.6% and the occupancy rate of heap memory is 0.3%(20 Mbyte). When the publisher client and the player client and the RELAY module are 183 channels, the occupancy rate of CPU is 99.9% and the occupancy rate of heap memory is 45.8%(3.7Gbyte). Therefore, the paper is not limited to the size of the streaming server by extending the output channel from which the video is transmitted to the output channel of the external streaming server. And a process of allocating an output channel of an external streaming server to an output channel through which an video is transmitted can be easily performed, so that an efficient output channel management can be performed even when a plurality of videos are transmitted.

  • In this paper, we analyze social network status and suggest TV SNS Service. According to alexa.com's recent chart, there are three SNS sites (facebook, myspace, twitter) in global top 20 sites. SNS usage has increased dramatically. Recently many SNS are growing up by opening their platform that make it easy to develope new services and functions by third party developers. KT is implementing open platform that is support Widget and SNS service. And Recently Social TV comes into the spotlight. Social TV is combination of social media and TV contents. It is enable to exchange emotion and opinion by communication with other people when watching Video contents. We propose TV SNS Service that provides various services by using advantage of SNS system and Social TV.

  • 최근 유무선 통신기술의 발달에 힘입어 정보소통의 주요 방식이 기존의 이메일에서 SNS로 변화되어 가고 있다. 이와함께 신속한 정보전달 및 원할한 협업이 기업의 경쟁력을 향상시키는 중요 요소로 인식됨에 따라, 영상회의 솔루션이 기업의 가치를 상승시키는 서비스로 주목받고 있다. 그러나 기존의 SNS의 경우, 일상적인 정보의 공유에 초점이 맞추어져 있어 전문지식의 공유 및 협업이 요구되는 전문가형 SNS로 활용하기에는 다소 미흡한점이 있다. 또한 영상회의의 경우, 특정 하드웨어 또는 소프트웨어를 설치하여야만 영상회의 솔루션을 활용할 수 있다는 문제점이 존재한다. 따라서 전문가를 위한 SNS개발을 위해서 본 연구에서는 SNS플랫폼 기반의 영상세미나 시스템을 설계한다. 설계하는 시스템은 Java Media Framework 및 소켓통신을 활용하여 영상세미나 시스템을 구축하고 아울러 Java Web Start의 형태로 SNS플랫폼 상에서 동작할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 이를통해 전문가를 위한 효율적인 정보공유 및 원할한 협업을 지원하며, SNS 플랫폼 기반으로 동작하기 때문에 기존 영상시스템을 활용하는데 발생하는 문제점을 해결할 수 있다.

Perception of dental office visits of social network service users (SNS 이용자의 치과 SNS 특성에 관한 인식도)

  • Background: This study was aimed at investigating the perception of social network service (SNS) users regarding dental office visits and determining the proportion of dental SNS users among general SNS users. Methods: We surveyed 177 adults using SNSs. Dental SNS characteristics were classified into information provision, interaction, recency, reliability, and interest, and the recognition level of each area was surveyed on a 5-point scale. The total number of items was 17, including three information provision, three interaction, four recency, four reliability, and three interest items. Results: Among the five domains, the recognition level was the highest for reliability (3.51 points) and the lowest for interest (2.94 points). Among the 17 items, the recognition level was the highest for "Educational information provided by dental SNS is valuable" at 3.60 points, "Dental SNS educational video is useful for information sharing and dental knowledge improvement" at 3.53 points, and "The perceived educational information of dental SNS is reliable" at 3.51 points. Participants in their 20s and 30s had higher scores for being up-to-date (3.33 and 2.88 points, respectively) and reliability (3.59 and 3.09 points, respectively) than those in their 40s or older. The recognition level of all areas of dental SNS characteristics was significantly higher for experienced dental SNS users than for nonexperienced ones. Conclusions: The results of this study suggested that dental institutions should consider ways to utilize SNS for patient management and education and that dental SNS-related contents should contain educational and reliable information to help SNS users manage their oral health.

  • While only the experts could create the contents in the existing VR contents business, in the proposed "Untact Social VR Video-Based Tour Scheduling", the GUI (Graphic User Interface) allows anyone to easily and quickly share the information taken through VR camera after creating. It is intended to serve as a variety of SNS-based media by developing a structure that can be shared in html format after creating with the GUI menus. In particular, it is applied to companies that operate the SNS-type publicity projects including experience facilities and viewing facilities, and the various SNS-type publicity businesses that create the VR contents. Communication is clear compared to the existing homepage-based information delivery method, and It aims to provide universality that anyone can easily edit in an environment where only experts can edit VR video contents of.

At the beginning of the service, TikTok is a music video content platform, and later, it evolved into a social platform that provides a wide variety of contents, and the process of creating, producing, and editing videos was easily provided. Since started its service, it has analyzed various social phenomena that have appeared to young people and the types and characteristics of video content popular in this app. The demand for vertical video content in the form of short clip is on the rise rapidly, which can be expected to improve the quality of video content in accordance with the development of mobile-based imaging technology.
