A Research on the Teaser Video Production Method by Keyframe Extraction Based on YCbCr Color Model (YCbCr 컬러모델 기반의 키프레임 추출을 통한 티저 영상 제작 방법에 대한 연구)

  • Due to the development of online media platforms and the COVID-19 incident, the mass production and consumption of digital video content are rapidly increasing. In order to select digital video content, users grasp it in a short time through thumbnails and teaser videos, and select and watch digital video content that suits them. It is very inconvenient to check all digital video contents produced around the world one by one and manually edit teaser videos for users to choose from. In this paper, keyframes are extracted based on YCbCr color models to automatically generate teaser videos, and keyframes extracted through clustering are optimized. Finally, we present a method of producing a teaser video to help users check digital video content by connecting the finally extracted keyframes.

  • In these days, production and management of various digital contents increased because of growing internet users. Now the digital contents production system is producing video which is based on keywords and contents. This paper proposes the sensibility-based contents management system which can analyze and manage contents of video production system. Due to the sensibility-based multimedia contents management system, it is possible to analyze and manage sensibility contents what users want. As a result, by building a database, we can provide intelligent and meaningful services. In addition, contrary to low grade's contents-based production system, we can cope actively with users' demands.

  • Since the Canon EOS 5D Mark II with which the Full HD video shooting is possible was launched in 2008, the utilization of the DSLR cameras has been increasing in the video production field. In this thesis, the shortages and advantages of the video functions that the 5D Mark II cameras have will be analysed and they will be compared with the RED cameras that are most widely used in the video production field today. Through this, the utilization of the DSLR camera in the film production field will be investigated. The DSLR camera has the advantage of having good clear picture since it uses the image sensor of big size, and of being able to utilize the various lenses of good quality, and is small in size and light in weight compared to the conventional HD cameras. Although, there are some limitations that there are parts to be improved such as the sound recording problems and development of various additional equipments, the excellent usage that the DLSR cameras have is presenting a new possibility for the film production.

  • This study developed a program that can produce videos easily and conveniently, focusing on teenage media producers. Through user research, we identified the needs and problems of teenage producers, and implemented a character customization function desired by users and an emotion and action recommendation system using GPT. In the rendering process, the final image was created by combining audio and video using OpenCV and FFmpeg. Teenage users who do not have expertise in video production can customize web drama characters through a simple interface and receive recommendations for emotions and actions with the help of GPT. The program of this study is expected to be a tool that can help teenage users who do not have expertise in editing and directing to produce high-quality videos, lower the entry barrier to video production, and contribute to the development of the one-person media industry. do. In the future, we plan to provide a video production environment considering mobile or vertical resolution versions.

  • Recently, user-created video shows high increasing in production and consumption. Among these, videos records an identical subject in limited space with multi-view are coming out. Occurring main reason of this kind of video is popularization of portable camera and mobile web environment. Multi-view has studied in visually representation technique fields for point of view. Definition of multi-view has been expanded and applied to various contents authoring lately. To make user-created videos into multi-view contents can be a kind of suggestion as a user experience for new form of video consumption. In this paper, we show the possibility to make user-created videos into multi-view video content through analyzing multi-view video contents even there exist attribute differentiations. To understanding definition and attribution of multi-view classified and analyzed existing multi-view contents. To solve time axis arranging problem occurred in multi-view processing proposed audio matching method. Audio matching method organize feature extracting and comparing. To extract features is proposed MFCC that is most universally used. Comparing is proposed n by n. We proposed multi-view video contents that can consume arranged user-created video by user selection.

VR Image Shooting Considering Post-Production based Raw Format (원규격 기반 후반작업을 고려한 실사 VR 영상 촬영)

  • With the popularity of VR content, actual image based VR 360-degree video production using various shooting devices has attracted attention in recent years. Requiring a lot of work, the existing VR content production was possible only at the level of the research institute, but the recent miniaturization of cameras has made the VR actual image shooting more common to the content creators. In this paper, we compare and study various VR contents distribute in today's context and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of robust actual image-based 360 video production in terms of cost. We are to point out the disadvantages that make it difficult for existing video shooting experts to use and suggest a solution for this. The experiment shooting proved that it can be operated more manually than action cam or integrated camera and 360-degree shooting on a raw format support camera is more suitable for film type post-production.

  • This thesis suggests a methodology of video editing education that is a part of post-production process. The methodology is educating students on contents, theories, technology in phases according to the characteristics of each process. It is based on the training results from the class 'Understanding of Video Contents Production Technology' conducted for high school students between December, 2013 and August, 2014. The result of the satisfaction survey by enrolled students indicated that high educational satisfaction can be obtained by the education methodology.

  • With the rapid development of domestic and international over-the-top markets, a large amount of video content is being created. As the volume of video content increases, consumers tend to increasingly check data concerning the videos before watching them. To address this demand, video summaries in the form of plot descriptions, thumbnails, posters, and other formats are provided to consumers. This study proposes an approach that automatically generates posters to effectively convey video content while reducing the cost of video summarization. In the automatic generation of posters, face recognition and clustering are used to gather and classify character data, and keyframes from the video are extracted to learn the overall atmosphere of the video. This study used the facial data of the characters and keyframes as training data and employed technologies such as DreamBooth, a text-to-image generation model, to automatically generate video posters. This process significantly reduces the time and cost of video-poster production.

A Study on the Interest of SNS Users according to New Media Fashion Content Types -Focus on Vogue Korea's Official Instagram- (뉴미디어 패션 콘텐츠 유형에 따른 사용자의 SNS 관심도 연구 -보그 코리아 공식 인스타그램 중심으로-)

  • The purpose of this study is to find trends in new media fashion content by analyzing the fashion content of the official Instagram accounts of domestic fashion magazines that are being transformed by digital media. The framework for these analysis of fashion content type and methods of production is based on one used in an earlier research project. Empirical analysis is conducted on Vogue Korea's official Instagram accounts, using the highest number of major views as the secondary measure of interest. After screening for fashion content in posts on the Vogue Korea account for four months, 291 short video postings were extracted to analyze the number of views the postings received. The results were categorized as 'star', 'show/exhibition', 'product', 'shop', 'fashion film', 'designer', or 'event', included in the data are the number of postings by type and the number of views by post. Based on the characteristics of the creator and the editing, the posts were classified into 'professional production highlight', 'professional production private', 'UCC' or 'GIF' videos, the number of views per post were also collected. The research results show different levels of interest depending on the type of fashion content, and also on the way the videos were produced. The study also investigated how the combination of these two factors affects interest. When producing a new media fashion content, combining a 'star' type post with 'professional production private' video content was most popular. The selection of production method is therefore important even given the same type of content.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution is providing new opportunities for this technological growth. The rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is automating repetitive tasks, thereby enhancing production efficiency and enabling innovations that go beyond traditional production methods. Cutting-edge technologies like 3D animation and VFX are being continually researched and are expected to be more actively integrated into the production process. Digital technology is also expanding the creative horizons for artists. The future of AI and advanced technologies holds boundless potential, and there is growing anticipation for how these will elevate the video content industry to new heights.
