The purpose of this study was to investigate the clustering and Big Five Personality domains in discriminating groups by level of school-related adjustment, as experienced by Social Sims game users. Social Games are based on web that has simple rules to play in fictional time and space background. This paper is to analyze the relationships between social networks and user behaviors through the social games . In general, characteristics of social games are simple, fun and easy to play, popular to the public, and based on personal connections in reality. These features of social games make themselves different from video games with one player or MMORPG with many unspecific players. Especially Social Game show a noticeable characteristic related to social learning. The object of this research is to provide a possibility that game that its social perspective can be strengthened in social game environment and analyze whether it actually influences on problem solving of real life problems, therefore suggesting its direction of alternative play means and positive simulation game. Data was collected by administering 4 questionnaires (the short version of BFI, Satisfaction with life, Career Decision-.Making Self-.Efficacy, Depression) to the participants who were 20 people in Seoul and Daejeon. For the purposes of the data analysis, both Stepwise Discriminant analysis and Cluster analysis was employed. Neuroticism, Openness, Conscientiousness within the Big Five Personality domains were seen to be significant variables when it came to discriminating the groups. These findings indicated that the short version of the BFI may be useful in understanding for game user behaviors When it comes to cultural research, digital game takes up a significant role. We can see that from the fact that game, which has only been considered as a leisure activity or commercial means, is being actively research for its methodological, social role and function. Among digital game's several meanings, one of the most noticeable ones is the research on its critical, social participating function. According to Jame Paul gee, the most important merit of game is 'projected identity'. This means that experiences from various perspectives is possible.[1] In his recent autobiography , he described gamer as an active problem solver. In addition, Gonzalo Francesca also suggested an alternative game developing method through 'game that conveys critical messages by strengthening critical reasons'. [2] They all provided evidences showing game can be a strong academic tool. Not only does a genre called social game exist in the field of media and Social Network Game, but there are also some efforts to positively evaluate its value Through these kinds of researches, we can study how game can give positive influence along with the change in its general perception, which would eventually lead to spreading healthy game culture and enabling fresh life experience. This would better bring out the educative side of the game and become a social communicative tool. The object of this game is to provide a possibility that the social aspect can be strengthened within the game environment and analyze whether it actually influences the problem solving of real life problems. Therefore suggesting it's direction of alternative play means positive game simulation.

Cloud gaming services are heavily dependent on the efficiency of real-time video streaming technology owing to the limited bandwidths of wire or wireless networks through which consecutive frame images are delivered to gamers. Video compression algorithms typically take advantage of similarities among video frame images or in a single video frame image. This paper presents a method for computing and extracting both graphics information and an object's boundary from consecutive frame images of a game application. The method will allow video compression algorithms to determine the positions and sizes of similar image blocks, which in turn, will help achieve better video compression ratios. The proposed method can be easily implemented using function call interception, a programmable graphics pipeline, and off-screen rendering. It is implemented using the most widely used Direct3D API and applied to a well-known sample application to verify its feasibility and analyze its performance. The proposed method computes various kinds of graphics information with minimal overhead.

Sports video is a very critical information resource. High-precision extraction of effective segments in sports video can better assist coaches in analyzing the player's actions in the video, and enable users to more intuitively appreciate the player's hitting action. Aiming at the shortcomings of the current sports video clip extraction results, such as strong subjectivity, large workload and low efficiency, a classification method of sports video clips based on MobileNetV3 is proposed to save user time. Experiments evaluate the effectiveness of effective segment extraction. Among the extracted segments, the effective proportion is 97.0%, indicating that the effective segment extraction results are good, and it can lay the foundation for the construction of the subsequent badminton action metadata video dataset.

This study is to reveal the meaning of the interaction between a player and a game with the approach of an operational interaction such as joystick and keyboard, and also a representational interaction that the player takes during the game. It has been usually recognized that cut-scene in existing games is just limited to the role of opening scene that delivers mainly a background story of the game, and has the only passive function that serves additionally the expression of the state of the player or the replay of the results of the player's action. But in the aspect of game-direction, the study of the player's action about the interaction movie of 'Uncharted2', for example, one of the most representative video games, shows the possible classification of interaction movie along with three functions(situation direction, induced selective-action, information transfer). As a result, it is judged that interaction movie is not an additional element for the game-play, but rather takes the function of as an interface. The effective application of interaction movie could help a smooth connection between the recognizability from the view point of the player and the playing from the main character's viewpoint, ultimately leading to a direct means to maximize the delivery of the story.

Currently, people use game engines which is consist of essential elements(Graphic engine, Physics engine, Audio engine, UI system, Gameplay frameworks, etc) to develop video. This game engine is used for its own development, but usually it is used by renting a commercial engine. To be able to use such a game engine requires a lot of theoretical and functional education, but in a limited period of university education, it is impossible to deal with various game engines in game art colleges, not general engineering universities. This paper will compare and analyze the characteristics, and merits and demerits of these two kinds of Game engines (Unity and Unreal engine), and showed the result of analyses about the fact that educating which of the above 2 Game engines are helpful and beneficial for the students for the efficient education in the Art college where should teach much in the limited time.
Among the cultural industries, the game industry is the most economically valuable industry. It has been about twenty years since the game policy has been implemented and the game laws have been enacted. If the law is a willing expression for the realization of the policy, the orientation of the game policy can be grasped through revision of the game laws. SOUND RECORDS, VIDEO PRODUCTS, AND GAME SOFTWARE ACT, established in 1999, and GAME INDUSTRY PROMOTION ACT, which was enacted in 2006, are regulated by many revisions. In this paper, I try to understand the direction and meaning of Korean game policy(classification, game dysfunction, gambling, industry growth) through the contents of the revision of the game law for 20 years. The game policy shown through the amendment of the game law is intended to protect the game by regulating the game, and to protect the game user by preventing the gambling and preventing the game dysfunction, and to increase autonomy of users and choice of producers by switching to self rating system, and based on this, an environment for continuous industrial growth is created. In the future, game policies should consider cooperation with social areas beyond game-specific areas. On the other hand, it needs to respond to new agendas such as polarization of industrial structure, fair environment, employment environment.

With the increasing number of the wireless and mobile networks, the way that people use the Internet has changed substantively. Wireless multimedia services, such as wireless video streaming, mobile video game, and mobile voice over IP, will become the main applications of the future wireless Internet. To accommodate the growing volume of wireless data traffic and multimedia services, cognitive radio (CR) and Information-Centric Network (ICN) have been proposed to maximize the utilization of wireless spectrum and improve the network performance. Although CR and ICN have high potential significance for the future wireless Internet, few studies have been conducted on collaborative operations of CR and ICN. Due to the lack of infrastructure support in multi-hop ad hoc CR networks, the problem is more challenging for video streaming services. In this paper, we propose a Cross-layer Video Streaming Mechanism (CLISM) for Cognitive Radio Ad Hoc Information Centric Networks (CRAH-ICNs). The CLISM included two distributed schemes which are designed for the forwarding nodes and receiving nodes in CRAH-ICNs. With the cross-layer approach, the CLISM is able to self-adapt the variation of the link conditions without the central network controller. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed CLISM efficiently adjust video transmission policy under various network conditions.
Starting from the content types of video advertisements produced by social media users, this paper conducts a comparative study on the information and entertainment video advertising effects of the same product, to help video producers achieve better advertising effects when facing different products.
