This study was performed to offer the data for design of the seedling bed transfer equipment to make the automation of working process in a plant factory. The seedling bed transfer equipment pushing the seedling bed with bearing wheels on the rail for interconnecting each working process by a pneumatic cylinder was made and examined. The examined transfer force to push the seedling bed with a weight of 178.9 N by the pneumatic cylinder with length of 60 cm and section area of 5 $cm^2$ was measured by experiments. The examined transfer forces was compared with theoretical ones calculated by the theoretical formula derived from dynamic system analysis according to the number of the seedling bed and pushing speed of the pneumatic cylinder head at no load. The transfer function of the equipment with the input variable as the pushing speed $V_{h0}$(m/s) and the output variable as the transfer force f(t)(N) was represented as $F(s)=(V_{h0}/k)(s+B/M)/(s(s^2+Bs/M+1/(kM))$ where M(kg), k(m/N) and B(Ns/m) are the mass of the bed, the compression coefficient of the pneumatic cylinder and the dynamic friction coefficient between the seedling bed and the rail, respectively. The examined transfer force curves and the theoretical ones were represented similar wave forms as to use the theoretical formular to design the device for the seedling bed transfer. The condition of no vibration of the transfer force curve was $kB^2>4M$. The condition of transferring the bed by the repeatable impact and vibration force according to difference of transfer distance of the pneumatic cylinder head from that of the bed was as $Ce^{-\frac{3{\pi}D}{2\omega}}<-1$, where ${\omega}=\sqrt{\frac{1}{kM}-\frac{B^2}{4M^2}}$, $C=\{\frac{\frac{B}{2M}-\frac{1}{kB}}{\omega}\}$, $D=\frac{B}{2M}$. The examined mean peak transfer force represented 4 times of the stead state transfer force. Therefore it seemed that the transfer force of the pneumatic cylinder required for design of the push device was 4Bv where v is the pushing speed.
This paper presents the results of performance verification tests of the isolated flat plate apartment building with the laminated rubber bearings. The shaking table test is carried out in CABR(China Academy of Building Research) with two 1/10 scale isolation and non-isolation models under 4 excitation waves. The shaking table test is proceeding from x axis, y axis and x+y axis with different amplitude of acceleration values. The results show that, to non-isolated model, the natural vibration period is remarkably decreased and entered non-linear condition after moderate earthquake. Its accelerations become lager with increasing storey number and completely collapsed under large earthquake. The inter-storey shifts largely exceed the limit values of regulated displacement angles. But to isolated model, the natural vibration period of isolated modal is almost the same in all conditions and still in its elastic condition. The earthquake loading is greatly reduced and the accelerations of superstructure are greatly reduced. The inter-storey drifts are very small and can be neglected. The isolated model is in translational state and can be seen as a rigid whole. The displacements of isolation layer are in the allowable range. This experiment demonstrates that the seismic isolation is very effective to mitigate the influence of earthquake on structures and it is possible to increase the serviceability due to decrease the floor acceleration. facilities from their good states that is superior to non-isolated structure.

In this paper, to integrate distributed IT resources and manage human resource efficiently as purpose of cost reduction, infrastructure of wind turbine monitoring system have been designed and developed on the basis of SaaS cloud. This infrastructure hierarchize data according to related task and services. Softwares to monitor conditions via the infrastructure are also developed. Softwares are made up of DB design, field measurement, data transmission and monitoring programs. The infrastructure is able to monitor conditions from SCADA data and additional sensors. Total time delay from field measurement to monitoring is defined by modeling of step-wise time delay in condition monitoring algorithms. Since vibration data are acquired by measurements of high resolution, the delay is unavoidable and it is essential information for application of O&M program. Monitoring target is gearbox in wind turbine of MW-class and it is operating for 10 years, which means that accurate monitoring is essential for its efficient O&M in the future. The infrastructure is in operation to deal with the gearbox conditions with high resolution of 50 TB data capacity, annually.
The idea of using measured dynamic characteristics for damage detection is attractive because it allows for a global evaluation of the structural health and condition. However, vibration-based damage detection for complex structures such as long-span cable-supported bridges still remains a challenge. As a suspension or cable-stayed bridge involves in general thousands of structural components, the conventional damage detection methods based on model updating and/or parameter identification might result in ill-conditioning and non-uniqueness in the solution of inverse problems. Alternatively, methods that utilize, to the utmost extent, information from forward problems and avoid direct solution to inverse problems would be more suitable for vibration-based damage detection of long-span cable-supported bridges. The auto-associative neural network (ANN) technique and the probabilistic neural network (PNN) technique, that both eschew inverse problems, have been proposed for identifying and locating damage in suspension and cable-stayed bridges. Without the help of a structural model, ANNs with appropriate configuration can be trained using only the measured modal frequencies from healthy structure under varying environmental conditions, and a new set of modal frequency data acquired from an unknown state of the structure is then fed into the trained ANNs for damage presence identification. With the help of a structural model, PNNs can be configured using the relative changes of modal frequencies before and after damage by assuming damage at different locations, and then the measured modal frequencies from the structure can be presented to locate the damage. However, such formulated ANNs and PNNs may still be incompetent to identify damage occurring at the deck members of a cable-supported bridge because of very low modal sensitivity to the damage. The present study endeavors to enhance the damage identification capability of ANNs and PNNs when being applied for identification of damage incurred at deck members. Effort is first made to construct combined modal parameters which are synthesized from measured modal frequencies and modal shape components to train ANNs for damage alarming. With the purpose of improving identification accuracy, effort is then made to configure PNNs for damage localization by adapting the smoothing parameter in the Bayesian classifier to different values for different pattern classes. The performance of the ANNs with their input being modal frequencies and the combined modal parameters respectively and the PNNs with constant and adaptive smoothing parameters respectively is evaluated through simulation studies of identifying damage inflicted on different deck members of the double-deck suspension Tsing Ma Bridge.

The effect of activation and electroless nickel plating conditions on contact properties were investigated for selective electroless nickel plating of Si farers in order to obtain an optimum condition of contact hole filling. According to RCA prosess, p-type si 1 icon (100) surface was cleaned out and activated. The effects of temperture, DMAB concentration, time, and stirring iwere investigated for activation of p-type Si(100) surface. The optimal activation condition obtained was 0.5M HF, 1mM PdCl$_2$, 2mM EDTA, 7$0^{\circ}C$, 90sec under ultrasonic vibration. In electroless nickel plating, the effect of temperature, DMAB concentration, pH, and plating ti me were studied. The optimal plating condition found was 0. 10M NiS0$_4$.$H_2O$, 0.lIM Citrate, pH 6.8, 6$0^{\circ}C$, 30 minutes. The contact resistence of fi]ms wascomparatively low. It took 30 minutes to obtain 1$\mu$m thick film with 8$\mu$M DMAB concentration. The film surface roughness was improved with increasing temperature and decreasing pH of the plating solution. The best quality of the film was obtained with the condition of temperature 6$0^{\circ}C$ and pH 6.8. The micro-victors hardness of film was about 600Hv and was decreased wi th increasing particle size of plating layer.
After the 3rd level autonomous driving vehicle, the 4th and 5th level of autonomous driving technology is trying to maintain the optimal condition of the passengers as well as the perfect driving of the vehicle. However current autonomous driving technology is too dependent on visual information such as LiDAR and front camera, so it is difficult to fully autonomously drive on roads other than designated roads. Therefore this paper proposes a Braking Strength Calculation System (BSCS), in which a vehicle classifies road conditions using data other than visual information and calculates optimal braking strength according to road conditions and driving conditions. The BSCS consists of RCDM (Road Condition Definition Module), which classifies road conditions based on KNN algorithm, and BSCM (Braking Strength Calculation Module), which calculates optimal braking strength while driving based on current driving conditions and road conditions. As a result of the experiment in this paper, it was possible to find the most suitable number of Ks for the KNN algorithm, and it was proved that the RCDM proposed in this paper is more accurate than the unsupervised K-means algorithm. By using not only visual information but also vibration data applied to the suspension, the BSCS of the paper can make the braking of autonomous vehicles smoother in various environments where visual information is limited.

Dust scattering is one of the major problem for the residents living nearby construction field with construction noise and vibration. The dust scattering may inflict a considerable damage to psychological, spiritual discomfort to neighboring peoples. Therefore, the trouble of residents living nearby construction field have been increasing. Nevertheless, in our country, adequate guidelines for the dust scattering are not yet established because of the lack of basic data and insufficient research works. In this point, this study has researched its level of damage by conducting of the interview-survey which utilizing of questionnaire-paper asking for those staffs and workers to answer in the construction field, in order to grasp the damage extent of the actual condition effect and response against scattering dust in construction field. As the result, the occurring rate of dust scattering was appeared high compare with other constructing processes, due to utilization of construction equipment that operating at the fundamental basic construction stage, and it was turned out that presently the proper countermeasure and training against scattering dust in the construction site is insufficient. As for the solution mean against that, it is considered that with the better operation of construction site such as the installation of facilities for occurrence-restraint of dust scattering, frequent sprinkling of water, use of thermostat-covers, as well as those methods to be minimized of the occurrence of dust scattering must be contrived through the education for an attention how to use of construction equipment and training at the site.
Objectives: This study was undertaken to assess the sanitary conditions in the kitchens of food court/cafeterias and determine seasonal variations. Methods: We measured environmental factors (air temperature, relative humidity, illumination intensity, noise level), and dropping airborne microbes (bacteria and fungi) in the kitchens of eight food court/cafeterias in four seasons (January, April, July, and October). Air temperature and relative humidity were measured with in/out thermo-hygrometers at 1.2-1.5 m above floor level. Illuminance measurement was performed through the multiple point method of Korean Standards (KS). Noise level was measured by the standard methods for the examination of environmental pollution (noise and vibration) of Korea. The estimation of dropping airborne bacteria and fungi was performed through use of Koch's method. Results: The highest kitchen air temperature was in July, and the lowest in January. The average temperature surpassed $21^{\circ}C$ throughout the seasons, suggesting a higher temperature than required for the safe handling of food. Humidity in all the kitchens was measured in the range of 50-60%. Half of the kitchens showed illumination intensities below 300 Lux in April. It was found that the sound pressure level of noise in almost all of the kitchens was higher than 85 dB (A). The highest levels of dropping airborne bacteria and fungi were noted in July. The numbers of airborne bacteria were higher than those of fungi. The levels of dropping airborne bacteria and fungi were affected by air temperature, relative humidity, season, and place. Conclusions: This study indicates that the kitchen environments were unqualified to supply safe food. The hygiene level of the kitchens should be improved.
According to the conventional method of analysis for the seismic sliding of equipment submerged in a pool, in general, only the initial condition of fluid gap is used to estimate the hydrodynamic effect between the two structures throughout the seismic analysis. This is based on the assumption of small displacement relative to the fluid gap thickness during earthquakes. In a narrow fluid gap condition, however, this method may lead to a result of unconservative side. Through example seismic analyses for equipment submerged in a pool of a building, in this paper, it is studied when and how much the sliding response can be underestimated. And method of updating the hydrodynamic effect in each step of time integration is proposed to avoid excessive error in estimation of peak sliding response in such a case.
