순환전류를 이용한 ITER Vertical Stabilization 컨버터의 출력 제어 (Output Control of ITER Vertical Stabilization Converter with Circulating Current Technique)

  • ITER 핵융합 장치에 사용되는 Vertical Stabilization(VS) 컨버터는 4상한 운전 모드의 대용량 부하에 전력을 공급하기 위해서 4개의 직렬구조 12펄스 컨버터를 역병렬 연결하여 구성한다. 스위칭 소자로 싸이리스터를 사용하는 VS 컨버터는 정역 운전모드 변환과정에서 컨버터의 안전운전을 위해 Dead Time 구간을 필요로하며, 이 과정에서 유도성 부하에 영(Zero)전류 불연속 구간이 발생하는 단점이 있다. VS 컨버터의 출력 전류제어에 순환전류를 이용할 경우에는 빠른 정역 운전모드 변환이 가능하며, 부하에 발생하는 영전류 불연속 구간을 제거할 수 있다. 본 논문은 ITER VS 컨버터에서 출력전류의 정역 운전을 위해 순환전류를 이용하는 부하 전류제어 알고리즘을 제안하고, PSIM 시뮬레이션을 통해 결과를 검증하였다.

Large-scale pilot test study on bearing capacity of sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations

  • Due to the sea-crossing bridge span is generally large and main pier pile foundations are located in deep water and carry large vertical load, sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations bearing mechanism and load deformation characteristics are still vague. Authors studied the vertical bearing properties of sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations through pilot load tests. Large tonnage load test of Qingdao Bay Bridge main pier pile program is designed by using per-stressed technique to optimize the design of anchor pile reaction beam system. Test results show that the design is feasible and effective. This method can directly test bearing capacity of main pier pile foundations, and analysis bearing behaviors from test results of sensors which embedded in the pile. Through test study the vertical bearing properties of main pier pile foundation and compared with the generally short pile, author summarized the main pier pile foundations vertical bearing capacity and the main problem of design and construction which need to pay attention, and provide a reliable basis and experience for sea-crossing bridge main pier pile foundations design and construction.

변동풍력의 연직분포를 고려한 건축물의 풍하중 평가 (The Wind Load Evaluation on Building Considering Vertical Profile of Fluctuating Wind Force)

  • The wind tunnel test makes it possible to predict the wind loads for the wind resistant design. There are many methods to evaluate wind loads from data obtained from the wind tunnel test and these methods have advantages and disadvantages. In this study, two of these methods were analyzed and compared. One is the wind load evaluation method by fluctuating displacement and the other is the wind load evaluation method considering vertical profile of fluctuating wind force. The former method is evaluated as the sum of the mean wind load of the average wind force and the maximum value of the fluctuating wind load. The latter method is evaluated as the sum of the mean wind load and maximum value of the background wind load, and the maximum value of the resonant wind load. Two methods were applied to the wind tunnel test to compare the evaluated wind loads according to the two methods, with a maximum difference of about 1.2 times. The wind load evaluated by the method considering vertical profile of the fluctuating wind force (VPFWF) was larger than the wind load evaluated by the method by fluctuating displacement (FD). Especially, the difference of the wind load according to the two methods is large in the lower part of the building and the wind load is reversed at a specific height of the building. VPFWF of evaluating resonant wind loads and background wind loads separately is more reasonable.

광탄성법(光彈性法)에 의(依)한 러그달린 구동륜하(駆動輪下)의 응력분포(應力分布)에 관(關)한 해석(解析) (Analysis of the stress distribution under a driving lugged wheel by photoelastic method)

  • Stress distribution under a driving lugged wheel was obtained by photoelastic method. The distribution showed two distinct parts, one part is due to sinkage and other due to compression. Results of the study are summarized as follows. 1. The tangential reactions of sinkage as well as compressing parts were directly proportional to tangential load to the driving wheel, that's appeared to be thrust of the driving wheel. The normal reactions of both sinkage and compressing parts were directly proportional to the vertical load to the driving wheel, that's appeared to be resistance against wheel motion. 2. When the tangential load was constant, changing the vertical load did not show any significant thrust variation of the driving wheel. 3. Under the condition of this experiment, the ratio of vertical load to tangential load (T.L/V.L) must be greater than 1.0 in order for the wheel to roll.

부분 무치악의 고정성 임플랜트 보철의 저위교합에 관한 3차원 유한요소법적 연구 (3-DIMENSIONAL FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS ON THE INFRAOCCLUSION OF FIXED IMPLANT PROSTHESIS FOR PARTIAL EDENTULISM)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine, by the method of 3-dimentional finite element analysis. how infraocclusion affected the stress distribution in surrounding bone and osseointegrated prosthesis. The 3-dimentional finite element mandibular models were made, in which the first and second molars were removed and the two osseointegrated implants were placed in the first and second molar sites and implant supported fixed prostheses were constructed. Analysis of equivalent stress and displacement induced by strong occlusion or infraocclusion was performed under vertical or inclined distributed loads. The results were as follows; 1. Under vertical load of 50N or 500N, the model in which infraocclusion had not been allowed showed greater stress on implants and the supporting bone than on natural teeth. 2. In the model in which infraocclusion of $30{\mu}m$ had been allowed, implant-prosthesis on the molars had no contact with opposing teeth under vertical load of 50N, However with the same allowed infraocclusion and the model under vertical load of 500N, implant prosthesis on the second molar had contact with opposing teeth, and stress distribution occured properly on natural teeth and implants. 3. Under $45^{\circ}$ inclined load, the model in which infraocclusion had not been allowed showed greater stress on implants and the supporting bone than on natural teeth. There was greater stress in the case of $45^{\circ}$ inclined load than in the case of vertical load. 4. Under $45^{\circ}$ inclined load of 50N or 500N, the model in which infraocclusion of $30{\mu}m$, had been allowed showed no occlusal contact on the implants and occlusal contact on the natural teeth. 5. In partially edentulous cases with implant supported prosthesis, we can prevent excessive load on implants by allowing infraocclusion.

Derivation of aerosol vertical profiles in Seoul based on O4 measurements using UV scanning spectrometer

  • This present study describes an application of UV scanning spectrometer $O_4$ data for retrieval of aerosol vertical profiles in Seoul during the measurement period that includes two Asian dust event days. The results show large variations of aerosol load in vertical and temporal scales. Large variations in aerosol were observed at 1 km in height during the daytime in the measurement period when the Asian dust events took place. The aerosol load, however, was found to be largest at the surface compared to those retrieved at the higher atmospheric layers. The results also clearly identified the diurnal patterns of aerosol vertical distributions. The aerosol load was high in the morning and noon whereas it was low in the afternoon. This study demonstrates that UV scanning spectrometer observations of the oxygen dimer can serve as a potential method for determination of atmospheric aerosol vertical distributions and optical properties.

사질토 지반의 띠하중 재하에 따른 지중응력증가비의 실험적 고찰 (An Experimental Study for Soil Pressure Increment Ratios according to Strip Load in Sandy Soil)

  • Soil stress distribution under loading is one of the important problems in civil engineering. Many models have been proposed to interpret the stress distribution in soil and most models assume that the soil is homogeneous and isotropic. Therefore, the actual stress distribution may be different. In addition, With the increase of the top load, soil stress does not increase linearly. In this study, vertical stress changes in sandy soil according to top load increase were measured through experiments. Experimental results, vertical soil stress due to top load increase showed an initial nonlinear behavior and when the load increases to some extent, vertical soil stress showed a linear behavior. ${\alpha}$ value obtained by existing theories always 1.00. But, ${\alpha}$ value by experiment was observed from 0.91 to 1.22 and ${\alpha}$ value was increased with increasing distance from the loading plate.

임플랜트 Overdenture의 Bar설계에 따른 하악지지조직의 광탄성학적 응력분석 (PHOTOELASTIC STRESS ANALYSIS ON THE MANDIBLE CAUSED BY IMPLANT OVERDENTURE)

  • This study was performed to evaluate the effects of number and alignment of implant fixture and various bar designs on the retention of denture and the stress distribution. Six kinds of photoelastic mandibular models and nine kinds of overdenture specimens were designed. A unilateral vertical load was gradually applied on the right first molar to calculate the maximal dislodgement load of each specimen. A unilateral vertical load of 17 Kgf was applied on the right first molar and a vertical load of 10 Kgf was applied on the interincisal edge region. The stress pattern which developed in each photoelastic model was analyzed by the reflection polariscope. The results obtained were as follows: 1. The maximal dislodgement load reversely increased with the distance from the loading point to the implant fixture, while it linearly increased with that from the most posterior implant fixture to the mesial clip. The maximal dislodgement load also increased with the use of a cantilever bar. 2. Under the posterior vertical load, the stress to the supporting tissue of the denture base increased with the distance from the loading point to the implant future. The stress concentration on the apical area of the implant future reversely increased with the distance from the loading point to the implant future. 3. In the overdentures supported by two implant fixtures under the posterior vertical load. the specimen implanted on lateral incisor areas with a cantilever bar exhibited more favorable stress distribution than that without a cantilever bar. The specimen implanted on the canine areas without a cantilever bar, however, exhibited more favorable stress distribution. 4. In the overdentures supported by three implant fixtures. the specimen implanted ell the midline and canine areas exhibited more favorable stress distribution than that implanted oil the midline and the first premolar areas. 5. In the overdentures supported by four implant fixtures. the specimen implanted with two adjacent implant fixtures exhibited more favorable stress distribution than that implanted at equal distance under the posterior vertical load. 6. Under the anterior vertical load, the overdentures supported by three implant fixtures exhibited stress concentration on the supporting structure of the middle implant future. In overdentures supported by two or four implant futures, no significant difference was noted in stress distribution between the types of bars. These results indicate that the greater the number of implant fixtures, the better the stress distribution is. A favorable stress distribution may be obtained in the overdentures supported by two or three implant fixtures, if the location and the design of the bar are appropriate.

The characteristics of the multi-span suspension bridge with double main cables in the vertical plane

  • The multi-span suspension bridge having double main cables in the vertical plane is investigated regarding endurance of live load distribution in the case of non-displaced pylon and pylon displacement. The coefficient formula of live load distribution described as the ratio of live load on the bottom cable to the top cable is obtained. Based on this formula, some function in respect of this bridge are derived and used to analyze its characteristics. This analysis targets the cable force, the cable sag and the horizontal displacement at the pylon top under live load etc. The results clarified that the performance of the live load distribution and the horizontal force of cables in the case of non-deformed pylon has a similar tendency to those in the case of deformed pylon, and the increase of pylon rigidity can increase live load distributed to the bottom cable and slightly raise the cable horizontal force under live load. However, effect on the vertical rigidity of bridge and the horizontal force increment of cables caused by live load is different in the case of non-deformed pylon and deformed pylon.

수직 반작용력 측정 장치 개발(II) (A Development of Device for Measurement of Vertical Ground Reaction Force(II))

  • The purpose of this study was to develop the uniaxial force plate system which is measured by the vertical force. The VGRF(vertical ground reaction force) 1.0 was composed of 2 bath digital scales, 2 indicaters, and analyzing software. This system was newly renovated to VGRF 2,0 which are 2 industrial digital scales, 2 adjustable indicators, and enforced analyzing software. Changes of the new system were as follows. First, the height of the plate was 75% lower than before. Second, sensing ability of the load cell was changed from 90 - 0.05kg to 300 - 0.1kg. Third, the speed of data processing was changed from 17 per second to 60 per second. Fourth, analyzing software was enforced to develop and calculate the data. For the test of the system, two different types(bare foot, high-heeled shoes) gait was adopted. highly skilled female walker(23yrs, height 165cm, body mass 46.8kg) participated for the experimental study. During the dynamic performance(gait analysis), the data of each load cell were very similar to the previous studies. Specifically, bare foot walking had less vertical force than high-heeled shoes. Consequently, VGRF 2.0 can sense the general dynamic movements as well as static load conditions.
