  • In this study, the basic information and study design characteristics of the Building Outer Wall Vertical Greening were analyzed. Recorded according to the type of research and analysis, through numerical statistics. Building Outer Wall Vertical Greening design the most appropriate and effective ways to present and try to guidelines. The scope of the research of Building Outer Wall Vertical Greening(2001-2013) was selected the most representative examples. Theory and statistical data analysis and case study research was conducted. The main academic monographs, Library Literature, specializing in design magazines and excerpts from the 28 cases analyzed specifically. Building Outer Wall Vertical Greening should be designed synthetically geographical features of the project, existing material, to consider the value of the building. Architect must be designed depending on accident and comprehensive expertise for architectural design of Building Outer Wall Vertical Greening. Building Outer Wall Vertical Greening requires the professional and comprehensive design approach depending on support of the government and people. However, purpose of use, plant, color, Formative expression, culture, locality, maintenance is properly applied in the design process is not easy.

화단형 입면녹화의 활성화를 위한 법적·제도적 개선방안 - 공동주택 간이화단을 중심으로 - (The Plan of Improvement for the Law and Regulation on the Activation of Perpendicular Greening With Containers -With Apartment Simple planter-)

  • This study is to improve plan for the law and regulation systems on the perpendicular greening with containers to improve urban environment. The supports backed by laws and regulations are imperative for the activation of building greening. Although some local administrations in Korea try to lead perpendicular greening on building by means of Green Building certification system and so on, greening policies and managements are not pushed forward with consistency. Therefore building greening should be admitted to be a substitute green tract of land. The positive construction and management of greenzone should be accomplished as well. Devices, so to speak, which put greening under an obligation or authorize it as legal landscape area should be made rather than recommendations to make greenzone through current incentive systems. Positive perpendicular greening on building can be achieved by supplementing the law and regulation and incentive system about simplified planter. If planting and managing of simplified planter are continually entrusted to residents, even vertical landscapes will be affected by illegal diversion and negligence in result. Therefore, supports from governments and local administrations are needed.

아파트 간이화단의 녹지 조성을 위한 주민 의식조사 (A Research of Residents′ Opinion Concerning the Creation of Apartment Balcony Greening)

  • This study is about apartment greening to improve urban environment. To achieve this, questionnaires concerning the planter preferences were distributed. To improve perpendicular greening methods for apartments, MOCT (The Ministry of Construction and Transportation) reformed the law to obligate constructors to make apartment planters in June, 2000. But apartment residents take negative attitudes to making green space. It is difficult to manage the planters as well, so it is necessary that the point at making green spaces at apartments be scrutinized through questionnaires and an active method for making and managing the planter be made. The results show that apartment residents are reluctant to pay the expenses for planting and managing planters and have negative attitudes about plant purchases. If planting and managing of simplified planters are continually entrusted to residents, even vertical landscapes will be affected by illegal diversion and negligence as a result. Therefore, support from governments and local administrations are needed and legal obligation should be imposed on construction companies to install irrigation facilities.

저관리 도시농업을 위한 벽면녹화 부직포 처리가 식용꽃인 한련화(Tropaeolum majus L.)의 생육과 개화에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Layers of Non-woven Fabric on the Growth and Flowering of Edile Flower Tropaeolum majus L. in the Vertical Greening System for Lower Maintenance Urban Agriculture)

  • Tropaeolum majus, with a high decorative and food demand for vertical greening systems, has been utilized to revitalize urban agriculture. The effects of number of non-woven fabrics in a non-water environment and the adaptability of T. majus to this system were investigated. Planting ground composition of the container-type wall vertical greening system was made using non-woven fabric in one, two, three, or four layers. The results showed that the soil water content remained the highest when the non-woven fabric comprised 4 sheets. The morphological properties showed more growth with the 4 sheets than with 1, 2, and 3 sheets. In terms of physiological characteristics, chlorophyll content was mostly high in the 4 sheets, while shoot fresh weight value was in the order of 3 > 4 > 2 > 1 sheet, and root fresh weight value was in the order of 4 > 2 > 1 > 3 sheets. The dry weight of the measured values in the shoot was in the order of 4 > 3 > 2 > 1 sheet while no clear difference was found in the root of each treatment. The difference in the flowring characteristics was not different, but in evaluating the characteristics as a whole, the growth in the three layers of non-waven fabric was the best. In addition, the soil moisture contents and the growth characteristics were statistically significant as a positive correlation between the groups. Thus, greater the non-woven fabric, the higher is the adaptability of T. majus to dry stress under soil water-free conditions by maintaining soil moisture content. This showed that it represented an effective alternative as a method of vertical greening system for lower maintenance urban agriculture.

실내 벽면녹화의 공간 계획 경향에 관한 연구 - 로비공간의 적용 사례를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Vertical Garden Design for Indoor Space - Focused on Green Wall in Lobby Space -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the design trend of the vertical garden design in the indoor space through the examples of green wall in the lobby space. For the analysis, this study looks into the 'Guide for the Building Greening System' to understand the technical consideration for the green wall. After that, the key design elements was drawn from existing green walls through the literature review and field survey and field-survey. The study picked six green walls which was completed after 2000 in the lobby space in Seoul. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the design factors mainly depend on the plant selection, which leads to the outlook and texture of the vertical walls. The texture is expressed by the two-dimensional or three-dimensional planting methods which is related to the selection of plant species. Second, the vertical walls in the lobby area should be planned for the function of space which could be transition, human traffic, mood and attraction. Third, the vertical wall should be integrated with the surroundings in order to reinforces the dynamic or static space experience.

방위에 따른 벽면녹화식물의 생육 비교 (Comparison of Plant's Growth in Wall Greening Depending on Orientations)

  • 도시는 건축물의 과밀화로 지표면과 함께 녹지의 면적 또한 점차 줄어들고 있으며, 도시기후와 도시생태계에 악영향을 미치고 있다. 그러나 녹지의 중요성은 점차 증가하고 있으며, 지표면과 함께 수직면을 활용한 벽면녹화의 중요성도 커지고 있다. 하지만 방위와 관련된 국내 벽면녹화 지침과 제도에서 방위별로 식재를 제한하는 경우가 있음에도 불구하고, 연구를 통해 실제 8방위별로 식물의 생육 차이가 있는지 알아본 연구는 전무하였다. 따라서 본 연구는 실제 벽면녹화를 도시에 적용하기 위해 방위별 식물생장 특성을 비교분석하였다. 실험은 2020년 5월부터 9월까지 진행하였다. 우선, 8방위 벽체 3개를 제작하여 담쟁이덩굴(Parthenocissus tricuspidata), 송악(Hedera rhombea), 금빛줄사철(Euonymus radicans cv. Aueonmarinata Rehd) 식물3종을 각 벽체에 식재 후 주1회 온도, 조도, 식물의 길이를 측정하였다. 연구결과, 담쟁이의 경우 북향에서 생육이 왕성하였고, 송악과 금빛줄사철은 남향에서 생육이 왕성하였다. 식물 3종 모두 6-7월에 생육이 왕성하였으며, 담쟁이는 초장생육이 왕성하였고, 8월에 모든 벽면을 100% 피복하였다. 송악은 초장생육속도가 낮았으며, 피복률 또한 평균 45%로 낮게 나타났지만, 식물3종 중 지표면의 피복률은 송악이 가장 높았다. 금빛줄사철은 초장생육속도가 낮았으며, 최종적으로 북, 북서향을 제외한 벽면을 100% 피복하였다. 벽면녹화에 사용되는 모든 식물이 동일하게 생장하지 않으며, 방위로 인한 영향보다 식물 생육 특성에 따라 생장 차이가 있다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 식물생육의 특성을 파악하여 방위별 알맞은 식물을 식재하는 것이 좋을 것으로 판단된다.

녹지네트워크의 기능향상을 위한 서울시 중구의 옥상녹화 입지 선정 - 조류를 목표종으로 활용하여 - (Selection of Green-Roofs' Location to Improve Green-Network in Junggu, Seoul - Using a Bird as Target Species -)

  • The subject is to find green roofs' location as stepping stones in green-network in fine scale. The study site is Junggu, Seoul, which has core areas(Bukaksan and Namsan) and green areas(parks, etc.). Through literature review, the closer to core areas and green areas, target species reach green roof easier, and target species must be avifauna(flying species) and high class in food chain, because of possibility of reaching. So, Great Tits, inhabited in Namsan and urban bird, is target species. The location standard of green roofs, realized birds' reaching distance, consists of home range(horizontal range and vertical range) and roof-greening capable area. The green roofs' distribution of location was resulted through GIS analysis of feasible site finding, and classified with weight of score. In discussion, Namsan gives more effect to locate green roofs than Bukaksan does and selected buildings which are grouped in some parts need to be managed with group, green roof district.

기후디자인 기반 건축물통합형 입면녹화시스템 개발 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development Program of Building Integrated Vertical Greening System Based on Climate Design)

  • 도시화를 주도하는 건축, 도시개발 사업은 주변자연환경을 고려하지 않고 일관적인 개발행태로 인하여 기존 부지에 대한 생태성을 급진적으로 저하시켜 도시열섬화 현상, 대기오염, 도심 내 종 다양성 저감 등 환경 및 생태계를 교란하는 주요원인으로 인식되었다. 지속 가능한 시스템 중에서 도심 내 생태적 연결을 제공하는 건축물녹화는 기존의 건물을 지속 가능한 도시환경 시스템의 한 부분으로 전이시켜줄 수 있는 구체적 생태기술공법의 하나이다. 본연구에서는 체계적인 입면녹화 개발방안수립을 위해 기본기술개발방향, 기후환경인자, 기후디자인 기술요소, 소재 등을 고찰하였고 이에 준하여 입면녹화시스템 설계프로세스를 도식화하고 분석, 전략, 개발방안, 유형 설정의 순서로 건전한 한국형 입면녹화시스템 설계를 진행하였다. 국내 환경에 대응하는 지속가능한 입면녹화시스템 구축을 위해 식물학적, 시스템적 시스템 개발 및 발전방안 마련을 제시하고자 한다.

병원 옥상정원의 이용후 평가 - 서울아산병원을 대상으로 - (The Post-occupancy Evaluation of Roofgarden at Hospital - A Case Study of Asan Medical Center -)

  • Rooftop greenery has been used as a way to solve urban environmental problems by creating green space in densely populated cities. This study was carried out to suggest more effective designs for roof-garden at hospitals through a post-occupancy evaluation. The roofgarden of Asan Medical Center was evaluated with regards to setting, proximate environmental context, users, and design activity by a multi-method including plan investigations, observations, in-depth interviews and questionnaires. The results are summarized as follows; the users' main activities included resting, walking, and talking. A number of users were observed at shaded spaces sitting on such things as benches, pergolas, and shelters. The satisfaction of the users showed high satisfaction level except in the amount of shade, facilities, and shelter. The variables affecting a overall satisfaction were ‘accessibility’, ‘safety’, ‘quality of surroundings’, and ‘suitability for speculation’. By comparing the design concept with using pattern, designer's intention was not reflected sufficiently in several aspects such as ‘event deck for therapy programs’, ‘grove and path’, and ‘low planters’. This study suggests some design implications; it is necessary to furnish shaded sitting places for passive behaviors and pathways for walking or a light exercise. A wind-break wall with glass windows could widen the users' views in a limited space. Natural shade like tree shade or pergola are more desirable than artificial shades. As for the vertical location of the roofgarden, the middle floor could be better than top area for accessibility. Characteristics of building and users should be considered in detail to provide distinct spaces. Proper technical standards for the greening of artificial ground should be established.

토석채취지의 복구 실태 분석 II (Analysis of the Restoration Actual Conditions on the Quarries II)

  • 이 연구는 채석장의 실태조사를 통하여 토석채취 후 합리적이고도 완벽한 복구를 실시하기 위한 기초 자료를 제공하기 위하여 전국의 18개 토석채취장을 대상으로 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 농어촌정비사업에 따른 토석 채취 후 산지복구지는 대부분 조경적 녹화가 이루어지고 있다. 또한 복구공사 후 유지관리가 이루어지지 않아 식재한 나무가 고사하거나 비탈면녹화가 제대로 되지 않아 여름철에는 강우에 의한 표층토양의 유실 및 붕괴로 이어지고, 복구녹화공사를 실시한 비탈면은 황폐화되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 자연친화적이고 완벽한 복구녹화공사를 실시하기 위해서는 비탈면녹화를 실시하기 전에 현장의 토질특성, 지질특성 등에 대해서 조사하고 그곳에 적합한 복구공법에 대하여 면밀히 검토해야 한다. 아울러 계획된 복구공법의 적용에 있어서도 복구비를 절감할 수 있는 공법의 적용이 필요하다. 조사 결과 토석채취지의 경우 토질이 토사질 또는 리핑암, 풍화토가 대부분으로 이러한 지역은 복구녹화가 완벽하게 이루어질 수 있는 조건이 되므로 여기에 적용하는 공법도 가능하면 간단하면서도 복구녹화가 충분히 될 수 있는 공법의 선정이 중요하다. 아울러 복구녹화계획 및 검토시에는 반드시 산지복구를 전공으로 하는 전문가의 의견을 청취함으로써 그 지역에 가장 적합한 복구녹화공법의 선정 및 완벽한 복구녹화가 가능하게 될 것으로 사료된다.
