Urban rail transit offers target performance and function because various lower part system such as rolling-stock, signal, power and trackis consisted as complex. In order to function properly an urban rail transit which is complicated system to work as safety and reliability, System must secure safety with structure, design, manufacture, install and verification and it is important to establish a safety standard follows it procedures, establish what step all it is important to operate. Safety standard of urban transit infrastructure is minimum standard necessary to secure safety of signal, power and track. Urban rail transit standard business leads to make many requirements. Recently, many types of equipment have applied to manage requirements and standards for system efficiently in part of universal, airline and car accordingly applied equipments use to manage a pursuit(Trace) between standard of system. Especially importance of management is emphasized more become more. Importance of standard management which usesa computing support tool recently in transit filed is embossed and is predicted to be more such forward. Therefore we propose the effective method of management with infrastructure system by constructed data-base system.
Low Frequency Active Sonobuoy(hereinafter referred to as LFAS) are being developed in Korea in consideration of compatibility with existing overseas sonobuoys, and a communication device for acoustic signals receiving and operating control of LFAS has been developed. The communication device needs to verify compatibility with the existing Sonobuoy, and for this purpose, the standardized Sonobuoy communication protocol was applied. The communication device is designed/manufactured to transmit the acoustic signal received in real time from the Sonobuoy through VHF band RF communication to the data processing device, and transmit CFS/CSG commands for operation control to the Sonobuoy through UHF band RF communication. In order to verify the manufactured communication device, the communication status and performance were verified by interlocking test through Ultra Electronics' PASS-II equipment and domestically developed electronic device of Sonobuoy. In addition, operability was verified through environmental tests, water tanks, and marine operations. In the future, the communication device of sonobuoy can be used for verification of the Sonobuoy developed in Korea.
In this study, a hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) environment was established using MATLAB/Simulink to simulate and verify the power performance of a wind turbine. The target wind turbine was selected as the NREL 5 MW model, and modeling was performed based on the disclosed specifications. The HILS environment consists of a PC equipped with a MATLAB/Simulink program, a programmable logic controller (PLC) for uploading and linking control algorithms, and data acquisition (DAQ) equipment to manage wind turbine data input and output. The operation of the HILS environment was carried out as a procedure of operation (PC) of the target wind turbine modeled based on MATLAB/Simulink, data acquisition (PLC) of control algorithms, control command calculation (PLC), and control command input (PC). The simulation was performed using the HILS environment under turbulent wind conditions and compared with the simulation results performed under the same conditions in the HILS environment using the commercial program Bladed for performance verification. From the comparison, it was found that the dynamic simulation results of the Bladed HILS and the MATLAB HILS were close in power performances and the errors in the average values of rotor rotation speed and power generation between the two simulations were about 0.44 % and 3.3 %, respectively.
This paper presents experimental results on the safety of persons due to a ground fault in 22.9 kV-Y distribution system In order to evaluate the touch voltages due to internal ground faults in a step down transformer based on the newly prescribed KS C IEC 60364 standard series, the verification tests in a 22.9 kV multi-grounded neutral system were carried out From the experimental results, it was found that there will be significant potential rise jeopardizing LV equipment insulation in case of separate grounding between HV and LV system and the effective measures against hazardous touch voltages due to a IN side ground fault in the common grounding system between HV and LV system are proposed. As a consequence, it was found that the equipotential bonding is an important prerequisite for the effectiveness of the protective measures for the safety of persons in the common ground system between 22.9 kV-Y and low-voltage grounding system.
The laser interferometer system such as HP5529A is one of the most powerful equipment fur measurement of the straightness error in precision stages. The straightness measurement system, HP5529A is composed of a Wollaston prism and a reflector. In this system, the straightness error is defined as relative lateral motion change between the prism and the reflector and computed from optical path difference of two polarized laser beams between these optics. However, rotating motion of the prism or the reflector used as a moving optic causes unwanted straightness error. In this paper, a compensation method is proposed for removing the unwanted straightness error generated by rotating the moving optic and an experiment is carried out for theoretical verification. The result shows that the unwanted straightness error becomes very large when the reflector is used as the moving optic and the distance between the reflector and the prism is far. Therefore, the prism must be generally used as the moving optic instead of the reflector so as to reduce the measurement error. Nevertheless, the measurement error must be compensated because it's not a negligible error if a rotating angle of the prism is large. In case the reflector must be used as the moving optic, which is unavoidable when the squareness error is measured between two axes, this compensation method can be applied and produces a better result.
An elevator system, which is essential equipment for vertical movement of an object, as a property of building, has been driven by various expenditures and purposes. Since developing electrical control technology, control system are highly developed. The elevator system has expanded widely, but a data accuracy acquisition technique and safety predict technique for securing system safety is still at a basic level. So, objective verification for elevator confidence condition requires an absolute accuracy measurement technique. Therefore, this study is executed in order to acquire a method of depending on sense of a manager with simple numeric measurement data, and to construct a logical, analytical foresight system for more efficient elevator management system. As an artificial intelligence for diagnosis, the fuzzy inference algorithm is used for foreseeing the system in this thesis, because the fuzzy algorithm is the most useful method for resolving subjective ideas and a vague judgment of humans. The fuzzy inference algorithm is developed for each sensor signal(i.e. vibration, velocity, current).
In this study the flow rate-to-pressure difference characteristics of short-tube type damping orifices for an aircraft door damper were investigated by CFD analyses and experiments. As the design parameters of the damping orifice its diameter, inlet and outlet angle, tube length and the viscosity of the working fluid were taken into consideration. The results showed that the discharge coefficient of the orifices are dependant on the inlet and outlet angle and the oil viscosity, while their length plays an little significant role. Although the short-tube type damping orifice was employed to induce a turbulent flow, their discharge coefficient decreases rapidly as the oil viscosity gets higher than 50mm2/s. Therefore, in order to determine the orifice size, satisfying the working temperature range of the door damper, the oil viscosity as well as the friction force on the damper piston should be kept within proper values. For the verification of the CFD analysis results the actual performance of a door damper was measured and compared with them.
The in-cabinet response spectrum is used to define the input motion in the seismic qualification of instruments and devices mounted inside an electrical cabinet. This paper presents a procedure for generating the in-cabinet response spectrum for electrical equipment based on in-situ testing by an impact hammer. The proposed procedure includes an algorithm to build the relationship between the impact forces and the measured acceleration responses of cabinet structures by estimating the state-space model. This model is used to predict seismic responses to the equivalent earthquake forces. Three types of structural model are analyzed for numerical verification of the proposed method. A comparison of predicted and simulated response spectra shows good convergence, demonstrating the potential of the proposed method to predict the response spectra for real cabinet structures using vibration tests. The presented procedure eliminates the uncertainty associated with constructing an analytical model of the electrical cabinet, which has complex mass distribution and stiffness.
Regarding the aircrafts with a rotor blade system, the miniaturization of them is limited due to the rotor blade length and the tail rotor system. To miniaturize an aircraft, an equipment is required that increases thrust and also shortens the length of the rotor blade. The present study will conduct the flow analysis for miniaturizing the aircraft by applying a duct to the coaxial rotor blade system without tail rotor. First, the verification on the calculated results was conducted through the computational flow analysis on the coaxial rotor blade system without a duct. Then, the flow analysis for the coaxial rotor blade systems was performed including Ka-60 duct, Single duct, Twin duct, and Double duct, respectively. From the numerical results, the thrust coefficient appeared higher with the duct than without a duct for the coaxial rotor blade system. Especially, in the case of Double duct, the thrust was improved due to the increase of incoming flow and the extension of the wake area. These results will be used as the basic concepts for miniaturizing the aircraft with the rotor blade system. The flow analysis on the coaxial rotor blade system including the fuselage remains as a future work.
Predicting the noise radiated from vibrating structures is important in the automotive, aerospace, construction equipment, and defense industries. In this paper, a numerical implementation of the boundary element method in solving the Helmholtz integral equation for radiated noise prediction is presented. To predict the noise emitted by vibrating structure, the developed code can use the results from a structure analysis performed by a multi-purpose structural finite element code like ANSYS and directly measured data by non-contact vibration sensor like Laser Doppler Vibrometer. To verify the accuracy of developed code, two kinds of verification are perfomed. Firstly, the computer code used the harmonic analysis results of ANSYS in simple model and try to match with SYSNOISE. After matching with simulation results, the code compared with the result from SYSNOISE which used the velocity data from the LDV measurement with different number of points. The performance of the developed code for vibro-acoustic noise prediction is presented using the experimental results of the non-contact sensor
