전기차량 주행 중 이선상태에 따른 급전계통의 전압, 전류 동특성 연구 (A study on the dynamic characteristic of voltage and current in a feeder system in case of cause contact loss on driving an electrical railway vehicle)

  • In this study, the dynamic characteristic of a contact wire and pantograph suppling electrical power to electrical railway vehicle is investigated from an electrical response point of view. To analysis voltage and current waveforms by induced contact loss phenomenon on driving electrical railway vehicle, a hardware Simulator which considered contact loss between contact wire and the pantograph as well as contact wire deviation is developed. It is confirmed that a contact wire and pantograph model are necessary for studying the dynamic behavior of the pantograph system. Throughout prototype simulator and contact wire and catenary wire experiments, it is confirmed that current waveforms is distorted by contact loss phenomenon and in case of driving electrical railway vehicle.

  • Since real road experiments have many restrictions, a multi-vehicle traffic simulator can be an effective tool to develop and evaluate fully automated driving systems. This paper presents multi-vehicle environment simulation tool to develop and evaluate motorway automated driving systems. The proposed simulation tool consists of following two main parts: surrounding vehicle model and environment sensor model. The surrounding vehicle model is designed to quickly generate rational complex traffic situations of motorway. The environment sensor model depicts uncertainty of environment sensor. As a result, various traffic situations with uncertainty of environment sensor can be proposed by the multi-vehicle environment simulation tool. An application to automated driving system has been conducted. A lane changing algorithm is evaluated by performance indexes from the multi-vehicle environment simulation tool.

가상 환경 및 6축 모션 시뮬레이터를 이용한 무인차량 영상 안정화 장치 시험 (Test of Vision Stabilizer for Unmanned Vehicle Using Virtual Environment and 6 Axis Motion Simulator)

  • 본 논문에서는 가상현실 및 모션 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 무인차량용 영상 안정화 장치의 실내 시험환경을 구축하였다. 실제 주행 환경은 군용 탱크 시험을 위한 애버딘 시험장 범프 주행로의 가상 환경으로 대체하였다. 또한 무인 차량 모션은 모션 시뮬레이터를 이용하여 구현하였다. 가상 주행 환경은 모션 시뮬레이터 위에 설치된 영상안정화 장치의 앞에 구현하였다. 영상 안정화 장치의 카메라의 영상 및 카메라에 부착된 IMU 센서 데이터를 통해 안정화 성능을 확인하였다.

  • HIL(Hardware-in-the-Loop) 개념을 적용하면 하이브리드 자동차용 부품의 자동차 환경에서의 특성을 부품을 차량에 장착하지 않고도 평가 할 수 있게 된다. 본 논문에서는 특정 전동기를 하이브리드 자동차용 전동기로 사용하였을 경우 자동차의 구동 특성을 분석할 수 있는 HIL 방식을 구현하기 위한 부품 특성 시험. 구동특성 시뮬레이션, 장치 구성 방법을 설명한다. 시험장치는 자동차 시뮬레이터, 부하장치로 구성되며 시뮬레이션에서 사용된 차량제어기를 직접 차량제어기로 사용하게 된다. 부하장치는 차량의 동적 특성을 모의하게 된다. 특히 기존의 차량의 관성을 모의하기 위한 기계적 관성부하를 사용하지 않고 부하장치를 능동적으로 제어 하여 차량에 적용되었을 경우의 전동기 특성을 구할 수 있다. 시험 전동기가 병렬방식 하이브리드 자동차에 적용되었을 경우의 전동기의 실제 특성을 구할 수 있다. 제안된 방식은 하이브리드 자동차의 구동 특성을 교육하기 위한 교육매체로 사용 될 수 있다.

공기압 구동식 6 DOF 드라이빙 시뮬레이터의 개발 (Development of a Pneumatically Driven 6 DOF Driving Simulator)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 실감나는 운전 환경을 제공하는 공기압 구동식 드라이빙 시뮬레이터 개발에 있다. 드라이빙 시뮬레이터의 모션 플랫폼은 운전자에게 실제 차량의 사실적인 느낌을 주는 메카트로닉스 장비이다. 모션 플랫폼의 비용은 드라이빙 시뮬레이터를 개발하는데 가장 큰 부분을 차지한다. 저비용으로 모션 플랫폼을 개발하기 위하여 6개의 공압 실린더로 구성된 스튜어트 플랫폼 형태를 기반으로 모션 플랫폼을 자체 제작하였다. 스튜어트 플랫폼은 조이스틱의 작동신호에 대한 응답으로 만족할 만한 추종성능을 보여주었다. 상용의 레이싱 게임 소프트웨어 중의 하나인 rFactor를 이용하여 드라이빙 시뮬레이터의 가능성을 확인하였다.

  • Visual effects are important cues for providing occupant s with virtual reality in a vehicle simulator which imitates real driving. The viewpoint of an occupant is sensitively dependent upon the occupant´s posture, therefore, the total body motion must be considered in a graphic simulator. A real time simulation is required for the dynamic analysis of complex human body motion. This study attempts to apply a neural network to the motion analysis in various driving situations. A full car of medium-sized vehicles was selected and modeled, and then analyzed using ADAMS in such driving conditions as bump-pass and acceleration. A multibody system analysis software, MADYMO, was used in the motion analysis of an adult male dummy in the seated position. Fundamental Study on Effect of Preceding Vehicle Information on Fuel Consumption Reduction of a Vehicle Group

  • It is a concern that eco-driving vehicles, because their driving behavior differs from other vehicles due to e.g. e-start, may inhibit smooth traffic flow. Therefore, it is necessary to study the cooperative eco-driving done by a vehicle group, putting "vehicle-to-vehicle communication" and "road-to-vehicle communication" into perspective. Based on these factors, this study aimed to: 1) Analyze fuel consumption rates and driving behaviors of more than one vehicle following an Eco-Driving vehicle. 2) Examine the effect of information on the fuel consumption rate of the preceding vehicles on the following vehicles. As a result, the following findings were obtained: 1) By providing information to multiple following vehicles, the fuel consumption rate of the second vehicle was not lowered, while that of the third one was. 2) It is possible that, when information on fuel consumption of a preceding vehicle is provided to the following one, an inter-vehicular distance is shortened during deceleration to contribute to smooth traffic flow. From the above results, it is suggested that, when targeting a vehicle group, sharing the information on preceding vehicles is effective.

텔레매틱스 HMI 연구를 위한 드라이빙 시뮬레이터의 개발 (Development of a Driving Simulator for Telematics Human-Machine Interface Studies)

  • Driving simulators are useful tools not only to test the components of future cars but also to evaluate the telematics service and HMI (Human-Machine Interface). However driving simulators cannot be implemented to test and evaluate the telematics service system because the GPS (Global Positioning System) which contains basic functional support for the telematics module do not work in the VR (virtual reality) environment. This paper presents a method to implement telematics service to a driving simulator by developing the GPS simulator which is able to emulate GPS satellite signals consist of NMEA-0183 protocol and RS232C communication standards. It is expected that the driving simulator with the GPS simulator can be used to study HMI and human-factor evaluations of the commercial telematics system to realize the HiLES (Human-in-the-Loop Evaluation System).

  • Generally, in the railway vehicle the driving force of gravity happens by the high-speed running and the repetitive impulse cause the degradation and the malfunction phenomenon shows differently because the durability of each component changes according to the internal and external causes. The maintenance of propulsion control device which is played the very important role as to the stable service of the railway vehicle is greatly important among them. Therefore maintenance training propulsion control device simulator is needed to maximize learning through repetition and improve the maintenance practical skills training. This paper designed the railway vehicle running device with a miniature for the railway vehicle maintenance training and developed a propulsion control device simulator equipped the imitation steering wheel.

독립구동 인휠 전기자동차의 주행 효율 최적화를 위한 구동력 분배 알고리즘 (Development of Power Distribution Algorithm for Driving Efficiency Optimization of Independently Driven Vehicle)

  • The purpose of this paper is to construct a control algorithm for improving the driving efficiency of 4-wheel-drive in-wheel electric vehicles. The main parts of the vehicle were modeled and the input-output relations of signals were summarized using MATLAB/Simulink. A performance simulator for 4-wheel-drive in-wheel electric vehicles was developed based on the co-simulation environment with a commercial dynamic behavior analysis program called Carsim. Moreover, for improving the driving efficiency of vehicles, a torque distribution algorithm, which distributes the torque to the front and rear wheels, was included in the performance simulator. The effectiveness of the torque distribution algorithm was validated by the SOC simulation using the FTP-75 driving cycle.
