In this paper, a vehicle recognition algorithm based on deep convolutional neural network and compression dictionary is proposed. Firstly, the network structure of fine vehicle recognition based on convolutional neural network is introduced. Then, a vehicle recognition system based on multi-scale pyramid convolutional neural network is constructed. The contribution of different networks to the recognition results is adjusted by the adaptive fusion method that adjusts the network according to the recognition accuracy of a single network. The proportion of output in the network output of the entire multiscale network. Then, the compressed dictionary learning and the data dimension reduction are carried out using the effective block structure method combined with very sparse random projection matrix, which solves the computational complexity caused by high-dimensional features and shortens the dictionary learning time. Finally, the sparse representation classification method is used to realize vehicle type recognition. The experimental results show that the detection effect of the proposed algorithm is stable in sunny, cloudy and rainy weather, and it has strong adaptability to typical application scenarios such as occlusion and blurring, with an average recognition rate of more than 95%.
A variable configuration tracked vehicle(VCTV) is developed to reduce turning energy and improve climbing ability for stairs. This mechanism has four track T-type frames. By changing the driving direction, each track T-type frame rotates to minimize the contact area with ground. It also has better performance than other VCTV in energy consumption of turning. Futhermore this mechanism is more stable than other VCTV on the rough terrain. When climbing stairs, each track T-type frame rotates to obtain a front attack angle and keep stability on steep stairs. The design parameters of components of track T-type frames are optimized to enhance the performance of climbing stairs. Performance indices include a stable angle, a climbing ability, a height of the vertical obstacle. In case that the overall length of the mechanism is 0.2m, it is required that the radius of the wheels should be 5mm and the length track contacted with he ground should be 0.09m to climb higher and steeper stairs.

Driver centered vehicle design is the important factor for driver's safety, product quality, and so on. Therefore, people has recently recognized the importance of driver centered vehicle design. Especially, in the focus of driver-vehicle interaction system, it is very important factor to ergonomic design of vehicle cockpit. In this study, Sketch Map method was used to measure of driver's cognitive map on IP(Instrument Panel) that is the basic factor to ergonomic design for vehicle cockpit. The compatibility of Sketch Map method was validated for the measurement of driver's cognitive map and then the accuracy between two groups was analyzed using Sketch Map method. Subjects were divided in two groups, the first group of subjects has their own vehicles and driver license, and the second group of subjects doesn't have own vehicle but has driver license. The result showed that for the case of the first group, the shape of IP in the cognitive map was influenced by IP of their each vehicle. However, for the case of the second group, it showed the difference between IP in the cognitive map and IP of experienced vehicle many times because they have been driving various type of vehicle. So, the shape of IP in the cognitive map was influenced by various type of IP.
This study included three experiments to evaluate in-vehicle exposures to PM10 and CO: 1) evaluation of in-passenger car exposures, 2) evaluation of in-public bus exposures, and 3) simultaneous evaluation of in-passenger car and in -university bus exposures. The tests of four factors (transportation mode, passenger-car type, commute period, and commute season were focused. A total of 40 actual passenger car commuters, 20 public bus commuters, and four university buses were recruited or surveyed. The same commuters ware participated in both the summer and winter studied. Two factory such as transportation mode and passenger-car type were found to have little effect on the in-vehicle levels of PM10 and CO. Commute period was found to have little effect on the in-vehicle CO levels. Conversely, the other factor, commuting season was found to influence on the in-vehicle levels of PM10 and CO. The present study also confirmed that under the Korean commute conditions, vehicle interiors are an important microenvironment for exposure to PM10 and CO. This was supported by finding that the in-vehicle Air levels were much higher than ambient air levels reported by several previous studies. The mean in -vehicle PM10 concentrations were 114 and 103$\mu\textrm{g}$/m$^3$for passenger cars and public buses, respectively. For CO, the mean in-vehicle concentrations were 2.9 and 2.6 ppm for passenger cars and public louses, respectively.
In this paper, we studied the steering performance of wheelset with primary suspension characteristics of railway vehicle. We carry out dynamic analysis and experimental study for the vehicle models which are different primary suspension characteristics. The steering angle of a vehicle model (Case 1) operating in domestic subway lines is insufficient compared with an objective steering angle for curved track. And the steering angle of a vehicle model (Case 2) with improved self-steering performance of wheelset is a little improved compare to previous vehicle model. But also Case 2 model is still insufficient compared with an objective steering angle and has its limit in steering performance. So to overcome this limit of steering performance of passive type railway vehicle, an active steering technology is being developed. In case of vehicle model with active steering system, the steering performance is improved remarkably compared to passive type vehicle model.

In this paper, the input split type series-parallel hybrid electric vehicle (SPHEV) is established and the interpretation of the dynamic characteristics in four kinds of HEV modes, such as electric vehicle mode, engine mode, hybrid mode, and regeneration mode, is described. For this research, the forward-facing approach simulation method is chosen, which is useful for vehicle dynamic analysis. The rating of each powertrain component is designed based on energy-based concept and electrical peaking hybrid (ELPH) method. Finally, the designed powertrain is evaluated with the developed PSiM simulator and simulation results are shown.
This study was aimed to verify the stable interruption characteristics between power collector and 3rd rail type conductor rail for the Korean-standardized rubber-tired AGT light rail vehicle. At the test track for the Korean-standardized rubber-tired AGT light rail vehicle, interruption ratios, stresses, vibrations, and contact force variations were measured by test conditions, having various train speed. As the results, it was verified that developed 3rd rail type conductor maintains interruption characteristics, which can supply stable electric power.
