바이모달 트램의 위치 인식 방법 및 정밀 정차 구현 (Implementation for precisely localizing and parking of Bimodal Tram)

  • This paper presents a method for precisely localizing and parking of bimodal trams. In order to gam an automatically driving system for bimodal trams, precise up-to-date localization, velocity recognition, distance to next station and precise parking location estimation functions are required. This paper proposes a system consisting of control device, steering device, sensor input equipment, driving system, tachometer, vehicle-side sensors, magnetic markers and magnetic sensors. The tram recognizes the precise location via magnetic markers containing information. Parking position and precise distance calculation is embodied by a tachometer. The vehicle-side sensors are used to assure safe station approaching and parking magnetic markers provide improvement of precision while tram parking. This paper provides a system realizing localization and precise parking and afterwards the automatic drive test results are reported and analyzed.

  • This paper treats the guide path tracking problem of an experimental automated guided vehicle. An experimental guide path is made of aluminium foil which has width of 2[cm]. A digital Proportional and Derivative controller is used to manipulate the steering system and it is verified by laboratory experiments that the designed AGV tracks the guide path withen the range of 3.2[cm] deviation.

  • An Intelligent active roll angle controller design algorithm is discussed. The detailed mathematical formulation and analysis are discussed, and then modeling and design method for active roll angle controller are presented. This paper proposes a design method based upon intelligent robust controller design algorithm to control actively roll angle for improving cornering performance problems. The intelligent robust controller is designed for steady speed driving vehicle system model with representation of steering angle and yaw angular velocity parameters for cornering stability. And the detailed formulation and analysis for the objective vehicle system are investigated.

  • Flexural resistance evaluation of FFC (Flexible Flat Cable) was performed according to the grain size of rolled copper foil by adding 0.1wt% silver (Ag) and electrodeposited copper foil by slitting method after heat-treatment. These methods are aimed at enhancing the flexural durability of the FFC by growing the grain size of copper foil. By increasing the grain size of the copper foil and minimizing the miss-orientation at grain boundaries, the residual stress at the grain boundaries of the copper foil is reduced and the durability of the FFC is improved. Maximizing an average grain size of copper foil can be got a good solution in order to enhance the durability of the FFC or FPCB (Flexible Printed Circuit Board).

  • 사고기록장치는 사고 전 후의 차량의 상태 및 운동 정보를 기록하는 장치로 객관적인 사고분석과 실사고 데이터를 이용한 자동차 안전장비의 개발을 위해 교통사고 조사기관과 부품개발사에서 많은 관심을 보이고 있다. 본 연구는 사고기록장치의 출력데이터를 이용한 교통사고재현을 통해 객관적, 과학적 사고분석에 목적을 두고, 더블레인 체인지 테스트 6회 슬라롬 테스트 1회의 실차 주행시험 및 시뮬레이션을 진행하였다. 실차시험을 통하여 취득한 차량의 속도, 종 횡방향 가속도, 조향각, 주행경로 등의 정보를 이용하여 교통사고 재현 및 분석 프로그램인 PC-Crash로 시뮬레이션을 진행하였다. 시뮬레이션은 가속도-조향각 입력방법과 가속도-주행경로 입력방법으로 2회 진행하였으며, 실차시험 결과와 2가지 시뮬레이션의 결과를 비교하여 최적의 경로 재현성을 갖는 분석방법을 도출하였다.

실시간 이미지 처리 방법을 이용한 개선된 차선 인식 경로 추종 알고리즘 개발 (Development of an Improved Geometric Path Tracking Algorithm with Real Time Image Processing Methods)

  • In this study, improved path tracking control algorithm based on pure pursuit algorithm is newly proposed by using improved lane detection algorithm through real time post-processing with interpolation methodology. Since the original pure pursuit works well only at speeds below 20 km/h, the look-ahead distance is implemented as a sigmoid function to work well at an average speed of 45 km/h to improve tracking performance. In addition, a smoothing filter was added to reduce the steering angle vibration of the original algorithm, and the stability of the steering angle was improved. The post-processing algorithm presented has implemented more robust lane recognition system using real-time pre/post processing method with deep learning and estimated interpolation. Real time processing is more cost-effective than the method using lots of computing resources and building abundant datasets for improving the performance of deep learning networks. Therefore, this paper also presents improved lane detection performance by using the final results with naive computer vision codes and pre/post processing. Firstly, the pre-processing was newly designed for real-time processing and robust recognition performance of augmentation. Secondly, the post-processing was designed to detect lanes by receiving the segmentation results based on the estimated interpolation in consideration of the properties of the continuous lanes. Consequently, experimental results by utilizing driving guidance line information from processing parts show that the improved lane detection algorithm is effective to minimize the lateral offset error in the diverse maneuvering roads.

무인잠수정의 적분 상태 궤환 제어기 설계 및 경유점 추적 연구 (A Study on an Integral State Feedback Controller for Way-point Tracking of an AUV)

  • A state feedback controller with integration of output error is proposed for way-point tracking of an AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicle). For the steering control on the XY plane, the proposed controller uses three state variables (sway velocity, yaw rate, heading angle) and the integral of the steering error, and for the depth control on the XZ plane, it uses four state variables (pitch rate, depth, pitch angle) and the integral of the depth error. From the simulation using Matlab/Simulink, we verify that the performance of the proposed controller is satisfactory within an error range of 1m from the target way-point for arbitrarily chosen sets of consecutive way-points.

머신비젼 기반의 자율주행 차량을 위한 카메라 교정 (Camera Calibration for Machine Vision Based Autonomous Vehicles)

  • Machine vision systems are usually used to identify traffic lanes and then determine the steering angle of an autonomous vehicle in real time. The steering angle is calculated using a geometric model of various parameters including the orientation, position, and hardware specification of a camera in the machine vision system. To find the accurate values of the parameters, camera calibration is required. This paper presents a new camera-calibration algorithm using known traffic lane features, line thickness and lane width. The camera parameters considered are divided into two groups: Group I (the camera orientation, the uncertainty image scale factor, and the focal length) and Group II(the camera position). First, six control points are extracted from an image of two traffic lines and then eight nonlinear equations are generated based on the points. The least square method is used to find the estimates for the Group I parameters. Finally, values of the Group II parameters are determined using point correspondences between the image and its corresponding real world. Experimental results prove the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.

  • 본 논문은 선박의 자동항법 시스템에서 주요한 부분인 항로추종 유도 기법을 다루고 있다. 특히, 웨이포인트(way-point)기반, 인클로져(enclosure)기반, 룩어헤드(lookahead)기반의 항로추종 유도기법의 성능에 관해 살펴본다. 아울러 본 논문에서는 항로추종 시 선박의 조타제어를 위해 PID제어 시스템이 적용된다. 최종적으로 3가지 유도기법의 성능은 시뮬레이션 결과를 통해 평가된다.

  • A self-travelling sprayer was developed to avoid the exposure of an operator to agricultural chemicals and exhaust gas, to improve safety and to increase working efficiency during the application and transport work in the greenhouses. This system consists of self-travelling system and the control system for application and safety device. The auto-spray car is equipped with a liquid chemical tank of 80l capacity. The travelling system adopted mechanical steering system which link mechanism of front wheel is guided by guide rollers. The sprayer travels along the guiding pipe which is set on the furrow in the greenhouses. The sprayer stops automatically applying and traveling when the liquid chemical tank becomes empty or when the sprayer reach the turning point. The spray booms swings in a vertical plane. The control system of safety devices controls the automatic stop of the sprayer when there is an obstacle on the traveling path, or when the battery becomes discharged. The auto-spray car traveled smoothly and steadily along the guide pipe during traveling straightly and turning on the ground.
