Traction Motor 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study of Basic Design for the Traction Motor)

  • A paradigm shift in driving system of transportation vehicle from engine to electric motor is required as the problems on air pollution and drain of petroleum resource are on the rize. Moreover while it is possible to control the motor with variable frequency driver, the application of motor in various kinds of vehicles is spread rapidly. In the paper, the effective design method of IPMSM for EV and HEV by using equivalent magnetic circuit and finite element method (FEM) is suggested. First of all, load conditions of the application are calculated. And basic design process of IPMSM is proposed with two design point. Finally, in order to verify the proposed design process, it was compared with the basic design parameter and the FEM analysis results.

  • To analyze and predict crack initiation position and propagation directions on the spot welded area are very important for strength design of the automobile body structure. It is necessary to test by method considering random loads with variable amplitude for strength design of vehicle body structure, because driving cars are actually subjected to random loads with variable amplitude in the road. Although this condition, nearly all tests haute been performed under constant load conditions in the laboratory because it is impossible to replay like an actual conditions. In this study, using in-plane bending type specimens, the overload factor affecting on the fatigue strength, crack initiation and propagation directions of spot-welded specimens have been studied.

  • The induction motor of the electric vehicles is controlled based on the vector control method to obtain good torque control characteristics. In the conventional vector control system, the field exciting current should be kept on a constant value to keep a stable flux level. This method has a liability that core loss becomes increasing at the light load region. To solve this liability, the efficiency maximizing control method of the vector controlled induction motor is proposed in thid paper. We developed light weight water cooled 60kW induction motor drive system which adopts our method and fabricated a conversion electric car for actual vehicle test. We demonstrate the usefulness of drive system by comparing its driving mode with conventional field oriented system and an efficiency maximizing controlled induction motor.

  • Companies are reluctant to disclose information because of trade secret and corporate identity For the same reasons, logistics companies do not want to operate in the form of a community In urban areas, the loading of vehicles is 100% as the quantity of goods transported is too much. In mountain areas, however, the load condition of the vehicle is not 100% because of the low quantity of goods transported Therefore, the transportation costs will increase as the cost of transport increase, the competitiveness of firms will also decline In this paper, we studied a simulation to measure driving time and volume of cargo according to the change of the quantity of goods transported in the mountain area According to the research results, we got a conclusion that the proposed method makes the operation time be less and the volume of cargo increase compared with the existing operation method.

  • The inherent pulsating force generation makes the control of switched-reluctance motor quite complicate. So in this paper, an orthogonal scheme that can be applied to the control of LSRM will be presented. By using this scheme, the motor reluctance forces, which are magnetically decoupled and position dependent, can be projected onto sets of stationary axes that are aligned with the motor fixed secondary poles. Hence the electromagnetic forces can be controlled not only for driving the LSRM at its propulsive direction but also for alleviating the load at its normal direction. Simulation results will be provided to show the validity of the proposed scheme.

Optimization Method of Knapsack Problem Based on BPSO-SA in Logistics Distribution

  • In modern logistics, the effective use of the vehicle volume and loading capacity will reduce the logistic cost. Many heuristic algorithms can solve this knapsack problem, but lots of these algorithms have a drawback, that is, they often fall into locally optimal solutions. A fusion optimization method based on simulated annealing algorithm (SA) and binary particle swarm optimization algorithm (BPSO) is proposed in the paper. We establish a logistics knapsack model of the fusion optimization algorithm. Then, a new model of express logistics simulation system is used for comparing three algorithms. The experiment verifies the effectiveness of the algorithm proposed in this paper. The experimental results show that the use of BPSO-SA algorithm can improve the utilization rate and the load rate of logistics distribution vehicles. So, the number of vehicles used for distribution and the average driving distance will be reduced. The purposes of the logistics knapsack problem optimization are achieved.

허브스페이스의 구조적 안전성 해석에 대한 연구 (A Study on Structural Safety Analysis of Hub Space)

  • This study investigates the analysis result of structure and fatigue due to the models of the hub space with bolt joint at wheel and the existence or nonexistence of hub ring as the part of suspension system of vehicle. As the static analysis result, the structural vulnerability can be found at hub bolt and the center of wheel at three models. Model 2 and 3 have nearly same deformation and model 1 can be endured at the least load among three models. As the fatigue analysis result, fatigue lives of three models are same at the severest load of SAE bracket history. As many screw threads of weak bolts are jointed in case of model 1, model 1 is shown to be the weakest at fatigue damage among three models. By the result of this study, model 1 with bolt joint becomes most weakest among three models. As model 2 with no hub ring and model 3 with hub ring have the nearly same states of analysis results, hub ring is shown to have no influence on the safety of automotive driving.

모델기반의 전기자동차용 전지 잔존용량계 개발 (Development of Model Based Battery SOC Indicator for Electric Vehicle)

  • 본 논문에서는 전기자동차에서 사용할 수 있는 모델 기반 잔존용량계(model based battery indicator)를 개발했다. 제안된 방법을 이용하면 잔존용량을 측정하는 데 전지의 전압과 전류만 측정하면 되고, 초기 잔존용량값의 영향을 받지 않으며, 전기자동차와 같이 부하가 급변하는 상태에서도 정확하게 계측할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 그에 따라 주행 가능 거리를 계산하여 예측할 수 있다. 전지의 방전 특성 데이터를 이용해 수학적인 모델링을 한 후, 전압과 전류를 검출하여 이를 모델링한 식에 대입하면, 추정된 전지 전압을 얻을 수 있다. 이 추정 전압과 측정 전압의 차이가 최소가 되도록 하는 잔존용량의 반화량을 이용히여 잔존용량을 추정한다. 실험에서는 제작한 충방전장치와 PC를 이용하여 전지의 전압과 전류를 계측하여 수학적으로 모델링을 하고, 실제의 전기자동차에 탑재 가능한 스탠드 얼론(stand alone)타입의 마이크로 콘트롤러에 모델식 및 알고리즘을 장착하여 모델 기반 잔존용량계를 실제 검증하여 그 유용성을 입증하였다.

유한요소법을 이용한 자기부상용 선형유도기의 운전 특성 분석법 (Analysis on Driving Performance of Linear Induction Motor for Maglev System by Finite Element Method)

  • 본 논문에서는 유한요소법을 사용하여 자기부상열차용 선형 유도 전동기의 효율적인 운전곡선 도출 방법을 제안한다. 긴 시간의 동특성 해석을 위해 선형유도기 모델을 선형에서 회전형 타입으로 변환하고, 제어시 필요한 슬립 파라미터를 전자장 해석을 통하여 효과적으로 도출하였다. 견인용 선형유도전동기는 인버터에 의해 저속의 정토크 영역에서는 전압/주파수 (V/f) 일정제어를 수행하고, 고속에서의 정출력 영역에서는 전압을 고정시키고 주파수를 증가시키면서 제어한다. 따라서 논문에서는 정토크 및 정출력 영역의 운전 특성을 도출하기 위해 각 구간에서 일정한 스텝으로 슬립특성 곡선을 도출하고, 차량의 운전 상태에 따른 슬립 및 주파수를 특성곡선의 보간법에 의해 결정한다. 본 방법을 이용하면 차량의 임의의 부하상태에 따라 최적의 운전 지령을 제시할 수 있다.

상용차 시트용 평행사변형구조 마그네틱 현가기구의 설계 및 성능평가 (The Design and Performance Evaluation of a Parallelogram Type Magnetic Spring Suspension for Commercial Vehicle Seat)

  • 상용차 운전자들은 운전시간이 길고, 엔진폭발에 의한 아이들 진동 등으로 인하여 일반인보다 많은 피로감을 느낀다. 본 논문에서는 아이들 진동에 의해 상용차 운전석에 전달되는 진동을 줄여 승차감을 향상시키기 위하여, 마그네틱 스프링을 이용한 시트현가장치를 제안하였다. 또한 최적설계를 통해 평행사변형 마그네틱 현가기구를 설계하였으며 이 제안된 시트를 장착한 차량의 진동 및 성능을 연구하였다. 그 결과 진동 전달률은 코일스프링 현가기구가 0.990, 평행사변형 마그네틱 현가기구는 0.823로 우수한 성능을 보여주었다.
