  • This paper discuss an index-based subsequence matching that supports time warping in large sequence databases. Time warping enables finding sequences with similar patterns even when they are of different lengths. In earlier work, Kim et al. suggested an efficient method for whole matching under time warping. This method constructs a multidimensional index on a set of feature vectors, which are invariant to time warping, from data sequences. For filtering at feature space, it also applies a lower-bound function, which consistently underestimates the time warping distance as well as satisfies the triangular inequality. In this paper, we incorporate the prefix-querying approach based on sliding windows into the earlier approach. For indexing, we extract a feature vector from every subsequence inside a sliding window and construct a multidimensional index using a feature vector as indexing attributes. For query processing, we perform a series of index searches using the feature vectors of qualifying query prefixes. Our approach provides effective and scalable subsequence matching even with a large volume of a database. We also prove that our approach does not incur false dismissal. To verify the superiority of our approach, we perform extensive experiments. The results reveal that our approach achieves significant speedup with real-world S&P 500 stock data and with very large synthetic data.

  • In this Paper. we propose vision-based camera localization technique using 3D information which is created by mapping of DEM and mountain image. Typically, image features for localization have drawbacks, it is variable to camera viewpoint and after time information quantify increases . In this paper, we extract invariance features of geometry which is irrelevant to camera viewpoint and estimate camera extrinsic Parameter through accurate corresponding Points matching by Proposed similarity evaluation function and Graham search method we also propose 3D information creation method by using graphic theory and visual clues, The Proposed method has the three following stages; point features invariance vector extraction, 3D information creation, camera extrinsic Parameter estimation. In the experiments, we compare and analyse the proposed method with existing methods to demonstrate the superiority of the proposed methods.

  • The proposed paper extracts the region of interest from the x-lay input image and compares it with the reference image. The x-ray image has the same shape, but the size, direction and position of the object are photographed differently. In this way, we measure the erection difference of darkness and darkness using the similarity measurement method for the same object. Distance measurement also calculates the distance between two points with vector coordinates (x, y, z) of x-lay data. Experimental results show that the proposed method improves the accuracy of ROI extraction and the reference image matching time is more efficient than the conventional method.

  • Integration analysis of multi-sensor satellite images is becoming increasingly important. The first step in integration analysis is image registration between multi-sensor. SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) is a representative image registration method. However, optical image and SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) images are different from sensor attitude and radiation characteristics during acquisition, making it difficult to apply the conventional method, such as SIFT, because the radiometric characteristics between images are nonlinear. To overcome this limitation, we proposed a modified method that combines the SAR-SIFT method and shape descriptor vector DLSS(Dense Local Self-Similarity). We conducted an experiment using two pairs of Cosmo-SkyMed and KOMPSAT-2 images collected over Daejeon, Korea, an area with a high density of buildings. The proposed method extracted the correct matching points when compared to conventional methods, such as SIFT and SAR-SIFT. The method also gave quantitatively reasonable results for RMSE of 1.66m and 2.45m over the two pairs of images.

  • Entity Linking find the meaning of an entity mention, which indicate the entity using different expressions, in a user's query by linking the entity mention and the entity in the knowledge base. This task has four challenges, including the difficult knowledge base construction problem, multiple presentation of the entity mention, ambiguity of entity linking, and NIL entity recognition. In this paper, we first construct the entity name dictionary based on Wikipedia to build a knowledge base and solve the multiple presentation problem. We then propose various methods for NIL entity recognition and solve the ambiguity of entity linking by training the support vector machine based on several features, including the similarity of the context, semantic relevance, clue word score, named entity type similarity of the mansion, entity name matching score, and object popularity score. We sequentially use the proposed two methods based on the constructed knowledge base, to obtain the good performance in the entity linking. In the result of the experiment, our system achieved 83.66% and 90.81% F1 score, which is the performance of the NIL entity recognition to solve the ambiguity of the entity linking.

  • This paper deals with Iris recognition as one of biometric techniques which is applied to identify a person using his/her behavior or congenital characteristics. The Iris of a human eye has a texture that is unique and time invariant for each individual. First, we obtain the feature vector from the 2D Iris pattern having a property of size invariant and using the fuzzy LDA which is further through four types of 2D Gabor wavelet. At the recognition process, we compute the similarity measure based on the correlation values. Here, since we use four different matching values obtained from four different directional Gabor wavelet and select the maximum value, it is possible to minimize the recognition error rate. To show the usefulness of the proposed algorithm, we applied it to a biometric database consisting of 300 Iris Patterns extracted from 50 subjects and finally got more higher than $90\%$ recognition rate.

The iris of a human eye has a texture that is unique and time invariant for each individual. First, we obtain the feature vector from the 2D iris pattern having a property of size invariant and divide it into 24 sectors which are further through three types of 2D Gabor filters. At the recognition process, we compute the similarity measure based on the correlation values. Here, since we use three different matching values obtained from three different directional Gabor filters and select the maximum value among them, it is possible to minimize the recognition error rate. • As we enter the knowledge society, the importance of information as a new form of capital is being emphasized. The importance of information classification is also increasing for efficient management of digital information produced exponentially. In this study, we tried to automatically classify and provide tailored information that can help companies decide to make technology commercialization. Therefore, we propose a method to classify information based on Korea Standard Industry Classification (KSIC), which indicates the business characteristics of enterprises. The classification of information or documents has been largely based on machine learning, but there is not enough training data categorized on the basis of KSIC. Therefore, this study applied the method of calculating similarity between documents. Specifically, a method and a model for presenting the most appropriate KSIC code are proposed by collecting explanatory texts of each code of KSIC and calculating the similarity with the classification object document using the vector space model. The IPC data were collected and classified by KSIC. And then verified the methodology by comparing it with the KSIC-IPC concordance table provided by the Korean Intellectual Property Office. As a result of the verification, the highest agreement was obtained when the LT method, which is a kind of TF-IDF calculation formula, was applied. At this time, the degree of match of the first rank matching KSIC was 53% and the cumulative match of the fifth ranking was 76%. Through this, it can be confirmed that KSIC classification of technology, industry, and market information that SMEs need more quantitatively and objectively is possible. In addition, it is considered that the methods and results provided in this study can be used as a basic data to help the qualitative judgment of experts in creating a linkage table between heterogeneous classification systems.
