PURPOSE: The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between psychosocial factors and the severity of musculoskeletal pain in veterans with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). METHODS: A total of 60 subjects were recruited from among the veterans with musculoskeletal pain at D Veterans Hospital. PTSD was evaluated by using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition; severity of pain was measured by using the short-form McGill Pain Questionnaire (SF-MPQ); depression and anxiety were measured by using the Symptom Checklist-90-Revision; and the quality of sleep was measured by using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index. All data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 software for Windows. RESULTS: The averages cores of pain intensity ($7.48{\pm}1.67$), SF-MPQ-sensory ($13.84{\pm}7.52$), SF-MPQ-affective ($4.41{\pm}3.79$), depression ($19.30{\pm}11.37$), anxiety ($13.39{\pm}7.99$), and quality of sleep ($10.05{\pm}5.89$) were obtained in veterans with PTSD. SF-MPQ-sensory measures sleep quality (r=0.346, p<0.01), SF-MPQ-affective measures depression (r=0.318, p<0.01) and anxiety (r=0.404, p<0.01), and these showed a statistically significant positive correlation in veterans with PTSD. Pain levels were observed to be higher in veterans with PTSD. Moreover, in these subjects, physical pain had a significant influence on the anxiety variable among the psychosocial factors. CONCLUSION: These findings suggest that musculoskeletal pain provides meaningful information about depression, anxiety, and sleep disorder in veterans with PTSD. Our data suggest that musculoskeletal pain may need to be addressed as part of the health management process of veterans.
A survey research was conducted for a sample of 306 adult children who have an elderly parent or both parents alive. The purpose of the research was to test a structural equation model which specified the effects of early family relationships on comtemporary relationships and assistance patterns between adult children and their parents. The data were analyzed using EQS for Windows 5.7, utilizing maximum likelihood method. The results showed that early family relationships affected filial concern first, which in turn affected the level of assistance provided by adult children for elderly parents. No direct effect has been found between early family relationships and the level of assistance by adult children for elderly parents. Filial concern was played as an intervening variable. Early family relationships gave no direct effects to adult children's intention to assist their parents. Here again, filial concern was played as an intervening factor. Adult children's intention to assist their parents had not been led directly to provision of actual support to parents by their adult children. Thus, it was identified that intention to support is one thing, and the actual support is another. Controlling for the effects of filial concern, overall, early family relationship patterns gave no differential effects to the different aspects of support provided to parents by their adult children. On the basis of these results, this paper provided both discussions and suggestions for some strategies of intervention in the present family relationships in order for the inter-generational exchange of supports to happen in the future.

To examine the model, 299 questionnaires was collected from Korean workers. Each questions is based on a 7 point Likert-type scale, and the data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS for Windows. The results of study are summarized as follows: First, style of career anchor(technical/functional, security, pure challenge, life-style integration) has an positive influence on career satisfaction. but partial style of career anchor(managerial, creativity, autonomy/independence, service/dedication) unconnected with career satisfaction. Secondly, style of career anchor(technical/functional, managerial, security, service/dedication) has an positive influence on career commitment. but partial style of career anchor(creativity, autonomy/independence, pure challenge, life-style integration) unconnected with career satisfaction.

Sign-language communication can be a useful way of exchanging message between people who using different languages. In this paper, we report an experimental survey on the construction of a Korean-Japanese sign-language communication system using 3D model. For real-time communication, we introduced an intelligent communication method and built the system as a client-server architecture on the Internet. A character model is stored previously in the clients and a series of animation parameters are sent instead of real image data. The input-sentence is converted into a series of parameters of Korean sign language or Japanese sign language at server. The parameters are transmitted to clients and used for generating the animation. We also employ the emotional expressions, variable frames allocation method, and a cubic spline interpolation for the purpose of enhancing the reality of animation. The proposed system is implemented with Visual $C^{++}$ and Open Inventor library on Windows platform. Experimental results show a possibility that the system could be used as a non-verbal communication means beyond the linguistic barrier.

This study establishes public self-consciousness, sociocultural attitudes toward appearance, and objectified body consciousness as causal variables to identify their direct or indirect effects. This study is an aggregate analysis of existing studies that reveals the relations of how these factors turn to be the image management behaviors. A survey was conducted on 962 women from the ages of 20 to 59 who live in the Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas. The data analysis was performed through programs such as AMOS 16.0 and SPSS 18.0 for Windows. The findings are as follows: first, public self-consciousness had a direct effect on the sociocultural attitudes toward appearance and on objectified body consciousness, whereas it affected image management behaviors directly or indirectly. This means that as women become aware of others' attention, they recognize the social importance of appearance, internalize ideal social standards, and observe and evaluate their own bodies from a third person's viewpoint regarding the standards for a body required by society; in addition, these procedures lead them to manage their image behaviors. Second, the sociocultural attitudes toward appearance had a direct influence on objectified body consciousness; however, they had an indirect effect on image management behaviors. This demonstrates that body consciousness plays a role as a mediator between the sociocultural attitudes toward appearance and the image management behaviors. Third, it appeared that objectified body consciousness directly affected image management behaviors. Objectified body consciousness was identified as a causal variable that exerts immediate influence on image management behaviors where the more objectified body consciousness women objectified themselves as the body standards that created further image management behaviors.

Purpose : The purpose of this study was to ascertain the effects of scapular stabilization exercise before rotator cuff surgery on pain and range of motion of middle-aged women. Method : 20 subjects who agreed on this experiment and were diagnosed with rotator cuff rupture participated in this study. Experimental groups were treated while 40 minutes a day, 5 times per week, for 2 weeks before surgery. The effects of scapular stabilization exercise were evaluated on VAS and range of motion. Collected data were analyzed with SPSS for windows ver. 20.0 program. One-way repeated ANOVA was used to examine a significance of each variable by time. Two-way repeated ANOVA was applied to examine a significance of the experimental group against the control group. In all statistical tests, the significance level was set by ${\alpha}=.05$. Result : The results of this study are as follows: 1) In both control and experimental groups, VASs were decreased significantly according to intervention period. There was no significant difference between VASs of two groups. 2) In both control and experimental groups, ROMs of shoulder, flexion, abduction and external rotation were increased significantly according to intervention period. In these three flexibility measurement variables, there were significant differences between ROMs of two groups. Conclusion : In view of all the results in this study, scapular stabilization exercise on before rotator cuff surgery proved to be effective in improving their pain, range of motion after surgery. It will be sufficient data to perform with their own exercise program.
Purpose: Investigates the results of CPR operation in visited patients with arrest state, and element to affect the results, and it is checks a problem, and it is made to promote. Methods: As for this study, analysis studied the results that operation CPR with the object arrest patients of 69 visited Jecheon Seoul hospital emergency center for during the period from January 2002 to February 2005. It was played writing partly changed In-hospital Utstein Style, and to stick a record in it. Paramedic which participated in CPR directly did the record of a variable, As for the data processing, use SPSS Version 12.0 for Windows. Results: It was male 68.1% female 31.9% for 69 people, and the sex ratio didn't affect return of spontaneous circulation, with female 8 people to male 16 people for ROSC(Return of spontaneous circulation) 24 people. with female 14 people to male 31 people for NROSC(Non-return of spontaneous circulation) 45 people(p>0.05). The initial EKG rhythm was asystole 34.8%, VF 31.9%, The case that initial EKG was VF compared it to a patient of asystole, and a survivor had a lot of VF and there were a lot of survivors(p<0.05). The wasn't relativity between VF and PEA(p>0.05), The CPR lead time was short in ROSC with NROSC $25.0{\pm}15.0$ minutes, ROSC $11.9{\pm}10.7$ minutes(p<0.01). Epinephrine administer time was NROSC $3.0{\pm}4.1$ minutes, ROSC $2.1{\pm}1.9$ minutes(p>0.05). It was survivor 18 people(21.1%) than 24 hours and the PAM Index affected in ROSC. with $9.0{\pm}1.2$ points NROSC, with $1.6{\pm}1.7$ points ROSC(p<0.01). A correlation was high between a CPR lead time and PAM Index(p<0.02), a correlation was examined by being high between ROSC and a CPR lead time, PAM Index(p<0.01).

This paper proposes the AMCS(Agricultural Machine Control System that distinguishes farms using satellite photos or drone photos of farms and controls the self-driving and operation of farm drones and tractors. The AMCS consists of the LSM(Local Server Module) which separates farm boundaries from sensor data and video image of drones and tractors, reads remote control commands from the main server, and then delivers remote control commands within the management area through the link with drones and tractor sprinklers and the PSM that sets a path for drones and tractors to move from the farm to the farm and to handle work at low cost and high efficiency inside the farm. As a result of AMCS performance analysis proposed in this paper, the PSM showed a performance improvement of about 100% over Dijkstra algorithm when setting the path from external starting point to the farm and a higher working efficiency about 13% than the existing path when setting the path inside the farm. Therefore, the PSM can control tractors and drones more efficiently than conventional methods.
The purpose of this study was to examine the factors which influence the attitude of employees in security firms in Korea that ultimately lead to their turnover. Several variables which are seen as influential in formation of employees' attitudes about their organizations are leadership and job characteristics. In commitment and job stress were seen as two major variables which lead to the formation of their turnover, commitment was seen as positive influential variable and job stress a negatively influencing variable in employees' attitudes about their respective organizations. Survey method using questionnaires were utilized on employees of medium to large security firms in Seoul and Kyonggi province of Korea where 30 or more were employed. Sample for this research were field operators and, for leadership determination, their division chiefs were chosen. For the purpose of this research, several key hypotheses derived and developed from existing works related to this research topic were tested using multiple regression analysis utilizing SPSS 11.0. and Lisrel 8W The research findings are an follows: 1. leadership behavior of the superiors greatly influence, in most positive way, the employees' commitment. 2. Those employees who view their high organization commitment. shown to possess lower turnover. 3. Autonomy in their job characteristics to positively influence one's job stress 4. Higher the job stress the higher and positively influence one's turnover.
This research was conducted to examine the effects of cognitive and emotional empathy amongst employees, and its contribution to the enhancement of the effectiveness of an organization. Further, 'job stress' was used as the moderating value. For this purpose, examination procedures were based on theoretical ground drawn from previous research papers, and an appropriate hypothesis established. Statistical methods were also employed to obtain empirical evidence. This study consisted of four variables. The independent variable is categorised into the factors of cognitive and emotional empathy. Job stress as the moderating value as well as job satisfaction and turnover intention as members of the dependent variable. A survey was carried out targeting employees of numerous firms working in teams, and a total of 324 samples were collected and processed by the software package SPSS 21 for windows as a means to verify the set study model and hypothesis. The results of the study are as follows: The two factor of cognitive and emotional empathy did not present with any significant effects. However, cognitive empathy in relation to job stress was found to inflict negative effects. The study also found the two factors to play a significant role in asserting positive effects on an individual's level of satisfaction on his/her job. While the study further explained that cognitive understanding had the tendency to impose negative effects on the turnover intention, emotional empathy did not demonstrate significant effects. Job related stress negatively effects the level of satisfaction of an individual's given task or a job and positive relation with turnover intention. It was confirmed that job stress had a degree of intermediary role upon other factors such as empathy, job satisfaction and turnover intention. The results of the study purported that empathy can raise the level of an individual's job satisfaction and kerb turnover intention. In order to accomplish depreciated levels of job related stress, it is vital that firms consistently input fervent endeavours to be subserved. It must be able to create an environment wherein employees may enjoy the improved structure of the company to empathies with each other. These transitions would allow firms to achieve maximum efficiency and improvements on the effectiveness of an organization.
