리액터에 의한 가변주파수 구동장치의 고조파저감효과 분석 (An Analysis on the Effectiveness of Harmonics Reduction for Variable Frequency Drive by Reactors)

  • 본 논문에서는 전동기 구동장치를 선정하여 리액터 용량 및 종류, 부하의 크기에 따라 고조파 왜형률 변화추이를 검토하여 선박 및 해양플랜트에 적용 가능한 최적의 용량선정 근거를 마련하였다. AC라인 리액터와 DC링크 리액터는 가변주파수 구동장치 입력전류의 고조파를 크게 저감시키는 역할을 하며, 동일한 효과를 얻기 위한 DC링크 리액터의 인덕턴스가 AC라인 리액터 인덕턴스의 약 1.7배가 되어야 한다는 것을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 고찰하였다. 소프터웨어 PSIM을 활용하여 각 상황에 따른 전류 고조파 왜형률을 분석하였다.

  • Direct torque control (DTC) scheme provides a very quick torque response without the complex field-orientation block and inner current regulation loop. DTC is known as an appropriate scheme for high power induction motet drives because it can be used at lower switching frequency. There are two major drawbacks with the application of DTC schemes : one is large current harmonics due to flux drooping in a low speed range, the other is that the inverter switching frequency is varying according to motor parameters and operating speed. Switching devices in the power electronics drives should be supported for relatively high switching frequency. In this paper, a P-type fuzzy controller to realize the variable switching sector scheme and a PID-type fuzzy switching frequency regulator are adopted. A meaningful contribution of this paper is to propose a simple realization scheme of the fuzzy switching frequency regulator. Simulation results show the effectiveness of those propositions.

  • GTO inverter used for traction motor drives includes harmonics in the output current and torque by the limitation of switching frequency. However, the hybrid PWM method, using SPWM in low frequency range and SHE PWM in upper frequency range, can be obtained the relative less harmonic characteristic. The transient reaction, which the magnetic flux and the torque is altered and instantly the large current is flowed, may be produced at the mode change. This paper presents the techniques which can reduce the transient reactions produced in the gear changing of inverter fed traction motor drives operating in the hybrid PWM. The results are verified by the simulations.

  • The geometrical algorithm for generating a 3-phase SPWM signal for VVVF (Variable Voltage, Variable Frequency) inverter drives is proposed. In this techniques, it is suitable for micro-processor based implementation since the pulsewiths are computable in real time from simple analytic expressions. System hardware consists of the inverter circuit and the 3-phase SPWM signal generating circuit. The inverter circuit is a 3-phase SPWM signal generating circuit is single board micro-processor consisting of Z-80A CPU, EPROMXI, CTC, PIO. The method of controlling VVVF at the inverter output is discussed here.

  • In case of operating at Variable speed the induction motor by a frequency transformer, it will cause ripples in motor torque and considerably bad effects on the machines because the output side of the frequency transformer involves a great number of harmonics. This paper Presents the methods of decreasing torque ripples in induction motor and of improving current waveform, by means of forming the waveforms of output current into multi-step waveforms similiar to sinusoid, and also by means of eliminating the harmonic components maximally, in case of operating a 18-phase multi-inverter combining 3-step current source inverter.

  • 본 논문에서는 변하는 주기 기준 신호를 추종하기 위한 광학 디스크 드라이브의 적응 반복 제어 기법을 제시한다. 주기가 알려진 주기적인 외란은 반복 제어 개념을 이용하면 충분히 제거할 수 있다. 광학 디스크 드라이브는 다양한 속도를 지원하기 때문에 변하는 주기의 외란을 가진다. 기준 주기 변화를 추종하기 위해 샘플링 주파수를 변화시키는 반복 제어를 기초로 하여 주기가 변하는 외란을 다루기 위한 적응 반복 제어를 제안한다. 제안한 제어 기법은 반복 제어기와 주파수 발생기고 구성된다. 전자는 외란 주파수의 고정 배수에서 동작하는 가변 샘플러를 사용하고 후자는 외란 주파수에 따라 변하는 샘플링 주파수를 발생한다. 광학 디스크 드라이브 제어 대한 실험 결과에서 제안한 기법의 우수성과 랜덤 탐색 시간의 개선을 보인다.

  • This paper deals with PWM patterns for harmonic reduction in inverter fed traction motors and the gear changing techniques for the variable speed drive of traction motor. GTOs are used as switching device of inverter because traction motor is a large load. To derive PWM rattern which can minimize the harmonics with the limited switching frequency, the output current and torque characteristic of SPWM and SHE PWM was analyzed. GTO inverter used for traction motor drive includes harmonics in the output current and torque by the limitation of switching frequency. However, the hybrid PWM method that adopt SPWM in the range of low frequency and SHE PWM in upper frequency range can achieve less harmonic characteristics in GTO inverters. If the traction motor is driven in variable speed by the proposed PWM pattern, 7 times of gear changing is needed. At the instant of the mode change, magnetic flux and torque may be altered and the large current flow. To reduce such an undesirable transient behavior, it is also presented the technique for the gear changing of inverter fed traction motor drive operated with the hybrid PWM. The results are verified by simulations and experiments.
