EHA용 가변용적형 사판식 유압 피스톤 펌프의 하이브리드 제어 (Hybrid control of the swash plate-type variable displacement hydraulic piston pump for an EHA)

  • 본 논문에서는 압력보상형 사판식 유압 피스톤 펌프와 밸브 제어형 실린더를 결합한 EHA에 대하여 유압 실린더의 소비 유량이 작으면 펌프 회전 속도를 낮추는 새로운 개념의 하이브리드형 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 펌프 내 압력조절기의 사판각 제어와 간섭을 피하기 위해 위치 명령 신호의 속도 성분 평균치를 이용하여 펌프의 회전속도를 조절하였고, 시스템 압력이 기준치 이하로 낮아지는 것을 방지하기 위해 압력 스위치 기능을 추가하였다. 시뮬레이션과 실험 결과에 의하면, EHA의 동적인 응답 특성에 영향을 주지 않는 조건에서 하이브리드 제어를 통해 공전 모드에서의 펌프 회전속도를 1,800rpm에서 600rpm로 낮춤으로써 하이브리드 제어를 안 할 경우에 비해 펌프 구동 동력을 약 44%까지 절감시킬 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Extended Kalman Filter(EKF) is used to estimate friction and spring characteristics on the swash plate of a variable displacement pump. In earlier studies, the feasibility of the approach was established using simulation studies to establish limits of accuracy for the EKF approach when it was applied to an ideal situation. In this study, the EKF is applied to an experimental system and the issue of re liability in estimation of certain pump parameters is addressed. In addition, an approach to assign values to accommodate convergence of the EKF is considered. A special experimental system was set up to facilitate the measurement of certain states to enhance the EKF approach. Estimated parameters show ed some scatter about a specified operating point but in general, were reasonably repeatable. The study also showed that changes in the system parameters could be accurately tracked.

  • 최근들어 자동차에어콘 콤프레셔의 전기마그네트식 콘트롤밸브는 내부형 스워시 프레이트형을 사용하고 있다. 이 시스템은 외부로부터 공급되는 전류량(신호)에 의하여 작동되며 동시에 스워시판 작동에 의한 압력은 냉매가 흐르는 비율에 의하여 결정된다. 본 논문에서는 압축기의 크랭크케이스 압력이 전기마그네트 콘트롤 밸브 전기 흐름량에 따른 유량의 값을 측정하여 엔진의 효율을 향상시키고자 한다.

  • If hydraulic pump controlled by mechanical type regulator has more than one control function, the construction of regulator will be very complicated and control performance falls drastically. It is difficult to have more than one control function for hydraulic pump controlled by electronic type hydraulic valve due to the inconsistency of controllers. This paper proposes a multi-function control technique which controls continuously flow, pressure and power by using EPPR(Electronic Proportional Pressure Reducing) valve in swash plate type axial piston pump. Nonlinear mathematical model is developed from the continuity equation for the pressurized control volume and the torque balance for the swash plate motion. To simplify the model we make the linear state equation by differentiating the nonlinear model. A reaction spring is installed in servo cylinder to secure the stability of the control system. We analyze the stability and disturbance by using the state variable model. Finally, we review the control performances of flow, pressure and power by tests using PID controller.

  • 유압피스톤모터는 정압베어링부분의 마찰손실과 용적손실, 기구적 운동부분의 마찰손실, 오일의 관로저항에 의한 압력저하, 압축성에 의한 체적손실 그리고 하우징 오일 처닝(churning) 손실 등이 있다. 이러한 손실 중에서 일정한 틈새의 유막(oil film, $8{\sim}15{\mu}m$)으로 고속 회전하는 피스톤 슈(piston shoe)와 슈 플레이트(shoe plate) 사이 정압베어링 부분의 마찰 및 용적손실이 유압모터의 전체효율을 좌우 한다. 본 연구에서는 최고압력 35MPa, 최고회전수 2500rpm, 배재용적 320cc/rev급 2속(2-speed) 초대형 굴삭기의 주행모터용 유압피스톤모터를 대상으로 정압베어링비가 유압모터의 전 효율에 미치는 영향을 실험적으로 분석하였다.

사판식 액시얼 피스톤 펌프의 가변용량 시스템의 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of a Compensator System for Swash Plate Type Axial Piston Pump)

  • Recently, the importance of variable displacement piston pump is increasing in industrial world. Especially, most consumers require various range of pressures and flow rates. Pressure compensator is a system controlling flow rate in piston pump at low cost and, therefore, satisfies the need of consumers. However, the system has serious problems, such as response and leakage. The response and leakage are affected by clearance between actuator piston and cylinder, roughness of surface, and spool overlap. In this paper, these effects are investigated experimentally, and optimal clearance and chamfer is obtained. While diameter of cylinder is fixed and diameter of actuator piston is changed in this experiment, response and leakage are measured. Also parameters such as roughness and processing accuracy are changed for piston of fixed clearance. Experimental setup modelled into several parts of actuator piston, cylinder, spool, and swash plate. Input pressure is changed by function generator and proportional valve. The result of this experiment shows that leakage increases very much in proportion to the increase of clearance, and especially leakage occurs enormously when clearance is more than 0.002. The response is not good because as clearance increases leakage increases and as clearance decreases viscous damping effect increases. Accordingly, it is found out that optimal clearance range exists for tile response, within about 0.0012∼0.0014, at this time. Futhermore, the better roughness and geometrical accuracy of actuator piston are, the smaller are leakage and friction. The paper informs that response and leakage are influenced by and geometrical accuracy of actuator piston, roughness of surface, and the clearance between actuator piston and cylinder, and that optimal design of actuator piston in the pressure compensator is possible.

  • Considering the shape of a valve plate in design is important for reducing the pulsation phenomenon, which is a negative factor in pump performance. The purpose of this study is to propose an optimized method for a valve-plate V-type notch of a piston pump by modeling and simulation. The method uses $SimulationX^{(R)}$, a commercial hydraulic analysis program, and to provide data for the designing of the notch. The opening areas are determined by performing kinematic analysis of the notch part where the opening area changes rapidly. After applying the result analysis, the main effects on maximum pressure pulsation and maximum backflow according to the notch design factors are analyzed by using the full factorial method of experimental design. The optimized solutions are derived for the notch design variables, based on the analyzed data.

정압력원을 이용한 에너지 절감 유압 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Energy Saving Hydraulic System Using Constant Pressure System)

  • It is strongly requested to reduce fuel consumption because of high oil price and exhaust gases of road vehicles for environmental preservation. To solve these problems, several types of hybrid vehicles have been developed. Among them, flywheel hybrid vehicle using variable displacement pump/motor was already proposed as one of the feasible hybrid systems in place of hybrid vehicle by the conventional storage battery. The proposed flywheel hybrid vehicle is to keep constant pressure of high pressure line by the control of swash plate angle of flywheel pump/motor as pressure compensator. The efficiency of the overall system depends severely on the efficiency of hydraulic pump/motor in the energy saving hydraulic control system by simulation. According to the control methods of swash plate angle of piston pump/motor, there remain several problems to be solved. In this paper, experimental setup for energy saving is fabricated and the efficiency of energy saving is investigated by experiments with respect to various experimental conditions.
