Variable Coast를 이용하는 3.5 지구-달 위상전이궤적에서 SEM 각도에 따른 임무설계 및 해석 (Mission Design and Analysis based on SEM Angle by Using Variable Coast During 3.5 Earth-Moon Phasing Loop Transfer)

  • 달 궤도선의 전반적인 특성을 해석하기 위해 일별 발사가 가능한 Variable Coast 방식을 3.5 위상전이궤적에 적용하였다. 발사장 및 발사체를 선정하여 발사에서부터 달 궤도 진입까지의 전 과정에 대한 임무 시나리오를 구성 및 해석을 수행하였다. 특히 지구-달 회전좌표계에서 정의한 SEM(Satellite-Earth-Moon) 각도는 3.5 위상전이궤적을 전반적으로 검토할 수 있는 중요한 구속조건이다. SEM 각도를 이용한 시뮬레이션 결과를 지구-달 전이궤적 및 달 궤도 진입에서의 발사 시각, 관성비행 기간, 근지점 고도 및 ${\Delta}V$등 다양한 관점으로 분석하고 최적의 SEM 각도를 제안하였다. 이 결과는 향후 Fixed Coast 분석결과와 비교함으로써 발사체 선정에 따른 3.5 위상전이궤적의 특성을 평가하는데 큰 도움을 줄 것으로 예상된다.

  • 본고는 동해안 무속에서 사용하는 굿거리장단의 변주유형의 운영을 연구한 논문이다. 동해안 별신굿 예능보유자였던 고(故)김용택의 굿거리장단 연주가 다른 장르에서 보았던 굿거리장단과 색다르게 다가왔고 그 요인을 찾기 위해 그가 연주할 때 사용하는 변주유형과 연주기법들을 살펴보았다. 동해안 무속 굿거리장단은 여타 다른 장르에서 연주되는 굿거리장단의 유형과 기법보다 다양한 변주유형이 존재하며 독특한 형태의 기법들을 사용하고 있다. 이 같은 다양한 변주유형과 독특한 연주기법이 실제 연주에 반영되어 즉흥적인 변주가 이루어지고 있다.

On the Accumulation of Radioactive Materials in Marine Organisms Along the Coast of Korea 3. Cesium-137 Activities in Several Edible Marine Algae

  • Continued to the previous papers, the present investigation is carried out to clarify cesium-137 activities and potassium contents among 54 samples of edible marine algae collected along the coast of Korea during September, 1973 and April, 1974. The potassium contents are variable, 1.5-29.6%, and 11.36% on an average, while most of the members contain them about 10-16% generally. Among the algal phyla, they are 13.49% in green, 10.82% in brown and 16.46% in red algae, respectively. Cesium-137 activities are variable, 0.19-8.13 pCi$\^$137/ Cs/g K, and 2.35 pCi$\^$137/Cs/g K on an average in the samples investigated. Among the algal phyla they are 4.35 in green, 2.17 in brown and 0.89 pCi $\^$137/Cs/g K in red algae, respectively. Green algae contain especially higher activities compared with the other two groups. The brown alga, Myelophycus caespitosus shows the highest activities, 8.13 pCi$\^$137/Cs/g K, among the members investigated. Considering the concentration factor, this plant would be an indicator plant of cesium-137 among the marine algae along the coast of Korea.

  • Continued to the previous paper, the present investigation deals with stronitium-90 activities and calcium contents among 54 samples of edible marine algae collected along the coast of Korea during September, 1973 and April, 1974. The calcium contents are variable 2.0-17.8%, and 6.38% on an average. Most of the members investigated contain 2-4% in green and red algae, and 8-10% in brown algae. Strontium-90 activities are 0.32-0.37 pCi/l in sea-water, and 0.80-28.66 pCi$\^$90/Sr/g Ca in edible seaweeds. Among the algal phyla, they are 12.49 in green, 3.34 in brown, and 9.39 pCi$\^$90/Sr/g Ca in red algae, while they are 6.25 pCi$\^$90/Sr/g Ca on an average. In a single species collected at the same season, the highest activities appear mostly from the eastern coast, and from the western and southern coasts, in turn. The green algae, Capsosiphon- Enteromorpha complex show about 3 times higher activities, 28.66 pCi$\^$90/Sr /g Ca compared with the other members showing rather higher activities, and would be an indicator plant of strontium-90 activities of the marine algae along the coast of Korea.

Spatial Variability in Distribution, Abundance and Species Composition of the Subtidal Macronlgal Assemblages Found Along the Geumo Archipelago in the Central South Sea of Korea

  • Dense macroalgal assemblages are a common feature of the rocky subtidal habitats along the coast of Geumo Archipelago in the central South Sea of Korea, but are highly variable in space. This study addresses two questions concerning the algal assemblages: (1) how variable the distribution, abundance and species composition of the assemblages are in space, and (2) how closely the distribution, abundance and species composition of the assemblages are correlated to the spatial variation in abiotic factors. To answer these questions, we investigated 30 sites along the coast in autumn of 2003. The nonmetric multidimensional scaling analysis showed that there were strong differences in the composition and abundance of species in the assemblages among the sites. The similarity among the sites based on presence/absence data was approximately 51%, whereas the similarity based on abundance data was less than 37%, suggesting that the abundance of species contributed much to these differences. There were also strong differences in the number of species, abundance and vertical distribution of the assemblages along the coast. Multiple regression analyses revealed that the number of species, abundance and vertical distribution of the assemblages had a positive relationship with water depth, but less than 58% of total variation in these variables was explained by this abiotic factor. The results suggest that spatial (between habitats) variation is an important and consistent component of subtidal algal assemblages in Geumo Archipelago and should be explained before any differences between localities are assessed.

Seawater Exchange and Residence Time in Gamak Bay Determined by Numerical Experiments

  • We conducted modeling experiments to evaluate the residence times and exchange rates of seawater in Gamak Bay, located on the southern coast of the Korean Peninsula. The results revealed that pollutants are more quickly dispersed in a fixed grid rather than in a variable grid system. Pollutant concentrations decayed exponentially with time after release near the mouth of the bay, whereas no exponential variations were seen at the northwest end of the bay. The mean exchange rate of the seawater was 1.58% per day in the variable grid system, and the residence time of pollutants was greater than 288 days in Gamak Bay. Conversely, the exchange rate of seawater in Gamak Bay, as revealed by the particle tracking method, was 65% over a 50-day simulation. The results suggest that the seawater exchange in Gamak Bay is so low that pollutants are likely to remain in the bay indefinitely.

해양경찰공무원의 환경적합성이 조직 및 직무 애착에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Environmental Suitability of Coast Guard Officers on Organizational and Job Attachment)

  • 이 연구는 해양경찰공무원의 환경 적합성이 조직 및 직무 애착에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위해 해양경찰공무원 150명을 대상으로 연구를 진행하였다. 이 연구의 독립변수인 환경 적합성의 하위변인은 조직 적합성, 직무 적합성, 상사 적합성으로 분류하였다. 연구 결과 조직 애착에 영향을 미치는 독립변인은 조직 적합성만이 유일하였고, 직무 애착의 경우 조직 적합성, 상사 적합성, 직무 적합성 모두 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 통해 해양 경찰 조직의 발전을 위한 제언 및 향 후 개인적 특성에 따른 후속 연구를 제안하였다.

Fuzzy inference based cover thickness estimation of reinforced concrete structure quantitatively considering salty environment impact

  • This article involves architecting prototype-fuzzy expert system for designing the nominal cover thickness by means of fuzzy inference for quantitatively representing the environment affecting factor to reinforced concrete in chloride-induced corrosion environment. In this work, nominal cover thickness to reinforcement in concrete was determined by the sum of minimum cover thickness and tolerance to that defined from skill level, constructability and the significance of member. Several variables defining the quality of concrete and environment affecting factor (EAF) including relative humidity, temperature, cyclic wet and dry, and the distance from coast were treated as fuzzy variables. To qualify EAF the environment conditions of cycle degree of wet-dry, relative humidity, distance from coast and temperature were used as input variables. To determine the nominal cover thickness a qualified EAF, concrete grade, and watercement ratio were used. The membership functions of each fuzzy variable were generated from the engineering knowledge and intuition based on some references as well as some international codes of practice.

Effect of Soil Factors on Vegetation Values of Salt Marsh Plant Communities: Multiple Regression Model

  • The objective of the current study was to characterize and apply multiple regression model relating to vegetation values of the plant species over salt marshes. For each salt marsh community, vegetation and soil variables were investigated in the western coast and the southern coast in South Korea. Osmotic potential of soil and $Cl^-$ content of soil as independent variable had positive and negative influences on vegetation values. Multiple regression model showed that vegetation values of 14 coastal plant communities were determined by pH of soil, osmotic potential of soil and sand content. The multiple regression equation may be applied to the explanation of distribution and abundance of plant communities with exiting ordination plots.

한국연안의 월평균해면의 변화에 대하여 (On the Variations of Monthly Mean Sea Levels along the Coast of Korea)

  • 본고는 한국연안의 9개검조소 (울릉도, 묵호, 울산, 부산, 진해, 여수, 제주, 목포 및 인천등)의 최근의 월평균해면의 자료를 분석한 성과이다. 평균해면의 변화가 주로 기압 및 바람의 효과, 해수밀도의 변화, 하천유량의 변화 그리고 경도류의 역학적효과등에 기인한다는 것은 여러 해양학자들에 의해 증명되었다. 특히 근래에는 평균해면의 자료를 해황의 변동의 판단에 이용하려고 노력하고 있다. 원래 해양관측은 다액의 경비와 인력을 필요로 하므로 동일해역을 자주 관측한다는 것은 매우 곤란하므로 비교적 용이한 해면의 관측을 통해 해황변동을 파악한다는 것은 매우 흥미있는 사실이라 생각된다. 과거 한국근해의 평균해면에 대한 연구조사는 1930년 소창신길(Ogura,S.)가 원산, 부산, 군산, 인천 및 진남포등의 평균해면의 월편차를 산출발표한것과 금1967년 가을 Listzin, E.가 "도해의 평균해면의 변화"라는 제목의 논문에서 원산 및 부산의 평균해면을 논한 것뿐이다. 그리고 Miyazaki, M.는 1954년 "일본연안의 평균해면의 계절변화"를 연구발표한바 있다. 앞으로 한국연해의 해황판단 에 평균해면자료를 이용시도함에 앞서 우선 평균해면에 미치는 요소를 특히 기압의 영향과 해수밀도의 변화의 효과를 고찰해 보기로 한다.
