  • This paper developed the model for electro hydraulic force control system by identification method via ARMAX model. Implementation of Identification is performed on Pin-On-Disk type tribotester. The wear mechanism is an important mechanic property to select a material´s life and a optimum work condition. Pin-on-disk type tribotester is popular wear analysis experimental equipment and its mechanism is that adding a force on a rotating disk to simplify two surface contact´s wear experimental condition. Material´s rotating velocity and eccentricity rotation makes disturbance and it affects adding constant force. To get a high performance of force adding part, DDV(Direct Drive Valve) which has pressure control loop is used.   • A mathematical model is suggested for diagnosis on a reciprocating pump. To the end, kinematic, thermodynamic and fluidic analyses are carried out for a simplified reciprocating pump model. The pressure inside the cylinder is expressed as a function of the rotation angle of a crank axle. The mathematical model consists of one cylinder with suction and discharge valves and an accumulator. The effect of valve leakage on the discharge angle is investigated. The discharge angle difference between normal state and leakage state increases with the leakage extent.

  • The downstream piping system of the water supply system in a supercritical power plant is affected by the fluctuation pressure waves induced by accessing to the acoustic modes of the piping systems with the rotation and impeller passing pulsations of the feed water pump. There are the phenomena amplified at the same time in the range of 415 ~ 455Hz, 830 ~ 910Hz, 1245 ~ 1365Hz and 1660 ~ 1820Hz on the spectrums of the vibration, the sound pressure, and the pressure fluctuation waves.

정상유동 장치에서 유동 특성 평가 방법에 대한 연구(3) - 유속분포(1) (Study on Evaluation Method of Flow Characteristics in Steady Flow Bench(3) - Velocity Profile(1))

  • This paper is the third investigation on the evaluation methods of flow characteristics in a steady flow bench. In the previous works, several assumptions used in the steady flow bench were examined and the flow characteristics were estimated both by the conventional impulse swirl meter and a particle image velocimetry at 1.75B position. From these works, it was concluded that the assumption of the solid rotation might cause serious problems and both of the eccentricity and the velocity profile distort the flow characteristics when using the ISM at 1.75B plane. Therefore, the understanding of the detail velocity profiles is very important to keep discussing the issues about the steady flow evaluation method. For this purpose, the planar velocity profiles were measure at 1.75B position by particle image velocimetry and the characteristics were examined according to the valve angles and lifts. The results show that the planar velocity profiles of 11, 16, $21^{\circ}$ valve angle heads according to the lift are similar to each other, however, that of $26^{\circ}$ angle is an exceptional case in the all aspects. In addition, the swirl behaviors are not apparent up to 6~8 mm lift under the $21^{\circ}$ angle and somewhat arranged motions are observed over the whole plane near the highest lift. At this point, the narrower the angle, the lower the lift at which the swirl motions become clear. On the other hands, when the angle is $26^{\circ}$, the center of swirl is always farthest from the cylinder center and only the indistinct swirl is observed even if at the highest lift. Also, all the swirl centers are quite apart from the cylinder center so that the effect of eccentricity may not be negligible at 1.75B regardless the valve angle. Related to the tangential velocity along with the radial direction, the bands of the velocity distribution are very wide and the mean velocities of cylinder center basis are lower than the velocity which is assumed in the ISM evaluation. Lastly, the mean tangential velocity profiles of swirl center basis are sometimes higher than that of ISM-assumed up to 0.6 non-dimensional distance less than 6mm lift, however, as the lift increases the profiles are different according to the angles and profile $11^{\circ}$ is the most closed to the ideal profile. Consequently, the real velocity profile is far from the assumption of ISM evaluation.

부분방실관의 교정수술 치험 1예 (Surgical Correction of Partial Atrioventricular Canal: One Case Report)

  • This is one case report of surgically treated partial atrioventricular canal. The 22 year-old male patient had no definitive history of frequent respiratory infection and cyanosis in his early childhood. Since his age of 7 years, dyspnea was manifested on exertion. First appearance of congestive heart failure was at his age of 16 years old. The physical examination revealed that the neck veins were distended and heaving of precordium. A thrill was palpable on the left 3rd-4th intercostal space extending from the sternal border toward the apex and Grade IV/VI systolic ejection murmur was audible on it. Neither cyanosis nor clubbing was noted. Liver was palpable about 5 finger breadths. Chest X-ray revealed increased pulmonary vascularity and severe cardiomegaly (C-T ratio = 74%). EKG revealed LAD, clockwise rotation, LVH and trifascicular block. Echocardiogram showed paradoxical ventricular septal movement, narrowed left ventricular outflow tract and abnormal diastolic movement of the anterior leaflet of mitral valve. Right heart catheterization resulted in large left to right shunt (Qp : Qs = 5.7: 1), ASD and moderate pulfllonary hypertension. Finally, left ventriculogram revealed typical goose neck appearance of left ventrlcalar outflow tract. On Oct. 10, 1980, open heart surgery was performed. Operative findings were: 1. Large primum defect ($6{\times}5$ Cm in diameter) 2. Cleft on the anterior leaflet of mitral valve. 3. The upper portion of ventricular septum was descent but no interventricular communication. 4. Downward attachment of the atrioventricular valves on the ventricular muscular septum. 5. Medium sized secumdum defect ($2{\times}1$ Cm in diameter). The cleft was repaired with 4 interrupted sutures. The primum defect was closed with Teflon patch and the secundum defect was closed with direct suture closure. Postoperatively atrial flutter-fibrillation in EKG and Grade U/VI apical systolic murmur were found. The postoperative course was uneventful and discharged on 29th postoperative day in good general conditions.

초고압 용적형 펌프의 체절운전시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Shutoff Operating System of Ultra-High Pressure Positive Displacement Pump)

  • 초고압 용적형 펌프는 로터의 회전에 의한 주기적인 용적의 변화를 이용하는 펌프로 고압, 고유량을 동시에 만족하며 로터의 저속 및 고속 회전에 따라 변화 없이 일정하게 상대적으로 높은 펌프 효율을 유지할 수 있는 장점을 가진다. 많이 사용되고 있는 원심펌프와는 달리 별도의 진공펌프가 없이도 자흡 성능을 가지고 있으며, 비교적 단순한 구조로 인하여 경량화, 소형화가 가능한 특성을 자기고 있다. 유체를 높은 압력으로 이송할 수 있으며, 압력의 변동에 따라 유량의 변동이 적은 정량 토출이 가능하다. 이러한 용적형 펌프를 사용하는 이유는 흡입된 유체가 유량의 변화 없이 토출되는 장점이 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 유량의 변화가 없다는 장점이 있는 용적형 펌프의 체절시스템을 개발하여 펌프의 고압 운전시의 안전성을 확보하고자 하였다. 체절시스템은 컨트롤러 프로그램, 전자클러치, 릴리프밸브의 3가지로 이루어져, 한 가지 시스템이 작동하지 않아도 다른 시스템이 작동하는 시스템으로 이루어져 있다. 컨트롤러 프로그램과 전자 클러치의 작동을 확인하기 위한 과속도 시험과 릴리프 밸브의 유체유동해석, venting 실험을 통해 현재 개발한 초고압 용적형 펌프의 체절시스템이 작동됨을 확인하였다.

이중구조 거대자기저항-스핀밸브 박막의 자기등방성 영역분포에 관한 연구 (Regional Distribution of Isotropy Magnetic Property of Dual-type Giant Magnetoresistance-Spin Valve Multilayer)

  • NiFe/Cu/NiFe/IrMn/NiFe/Cu/NiFe 이중구조 GMR-SV 박막의 열처리 조건에 의존하는 자기등방성 영역분포 특성을 조사하였다. 진공 챔버내에서 이중구조 GMR-SV 박막을 후열처리 온도를 조절하여 면상에서 강자성체 층의 자화용이축 회전을 유도하였다. 자유층과 고정층의 자화용이축 방향에 의존하는 이중구조 GMR-SV 박막의 자기저항곡선은 외부자기장의 각도를 $0^{\circ}$에서 $360^{\circ}$까지 변화시킨 후 외부자기장의 세기에 따라서 측정하였다. 후열처리 온도가 $107^{\circ}C$일 때, 외부자기장의 방향이 $0^{\circ}$에서 $90^{\circ}$까지 영역에서 자장감응도가 약 1.52 %/Oe인 자기등방성 특성을 보였다. 이러한 특성은 고정층과 자유층을 형성하는 강자성층들이 면상에서 서로 직교한 결과임을 나타내며, 자기등방성 GMR-SV 박막 소자는 임의 방향으로 자화된 마이크로 자성비드를 검출할 수 있는 고감도 바이오센서로 사용할 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • The screw compressor is first invented by a Swedish engineer, Alf Lysholm in 1934. Since then, the development of the screw compressor idea for industrial applications has been continued by the Swedish research organization Svenska Rotor Maskiner, often identified by its initials SRM. The first industrial application of the machine was marketed as an air compressor in the 1950s. The screw compressor which is a positive displacement type compressor compresses gases by the rotation of a pair of mating rotors. The operation of this compressor is entirely rotary and dynamically in balance. Also there is no need for any valve mechanism and there exists less mechanical wear between the parts compared to the conventional reciprocating compressors. Due to these prominent features, the screw compressor has been rapidly spread into the air compressor market replacing the conventional reciprocating compressors and begun to be applied as a refrigerant compressor since the 1960s. In this work, the operation principle of the screw compressor is described in brief and the major design parameters affecting the compressor performance are classified. The international research trend in screw compressor development is introduced and the current situation in our country is described.

Performance Enhancement of a Low Speed Axial Compressor Utilizing Simultaneous Tip Injection and Casing Treatment of Groove Type

  • Performance of a low speed axial compressor is enhanced through a proper configuration of blade row tip injection and casing treatment of groove type. Air injectors were mounted evenly spaced upstream of the blade row within the casing groove and were all aligned parallel to the compressor axis. The groove, which covers all the blade tip chord length, extends all-round the casing circumference. Method of investigation is based on solution of the unsteady form of the Navier-Stokes equations utilizing $k-{\omega}$ SST turbulence model. Extensive parametric studies have been carried out to explore effects of injectors' flow momentums and yaw angles on compressor performance, while being run at different throttle valve setting. Emphasis has been focused on situations near to stall condition. Unsteady numerical analyses for untreated casing and no-injection case for near stall condition provided to discover two well-known criteria for spike stall inception, i.e., blade leading edge spillage and trailing edge back-flow. Final results showed that with only 6 injectors mounted axially in the casing groove and at yaw angle of 15 degrees opposite the direction of the blade row rotation, with a total mass flow rate of only 0.5% of the compressor main flow, surprisingly, the stall margin improves by 15.5%.

타이어 시뮬레이터를 이용한 능동형 타이어 공기압 제어 시스템 개발 (Development of an Active Tire Pressure Control System Using a Tire Simulator)

  • This study was performed to develop an active tire pressure control system that can adjust tire pressure to the optimum level according to traveling and working condition of agricultural tractor. For the development of active tire pressure control system, pneumatic supplier, solenoid valve block including pneumatic supply line, infinite rotation type pneumatic supplier with rotary joint unit, tire pressure transceiver module and control algorithm were developed. Also, tire simulator was developed. Using this tire simulator, the feasibility of each part constructing actual system was tested by checking the performance. The average communication success ratio was 98.3% between tire pressure transmitter and receiver module according to the various tire rotational speed and data receipt position of receiver module. The communication performance of the developed transmitter and receiver module was very stable in any condition. The tire pressure control system was accomplished by using the proportional control algorithm in this study. Also tire pressure control performance of developed control system was analyzed by using the tire simulator. As a result of control performance analysis to the developed system, the developed control system took 307 seconds to inflate agricultural tractor's tire from 50 kPa to 180 kPa. In opposite case, it took 210 seconds. Also it was able to control the tire pressure accurately under ${\pm}0.9%$ (FS) in any condition.
