  • The major industrialized nations have continued to develop industrialized construction techniques based on automated production processes in factories, and are applying them to a wide range of building. However, the unit modular construction system has had a shorter history of development and application in Korea compared to advanced countries, and consequently, Korean modular builders have a relatively poor technical capacity. So this study is draw a conclusion on the target of priority improvement for idea creation. It study on the enhancement of the functionality of the tool for assemble of Unit Modular that choose the enhancement of the functionality through the analysis of function on the three-level of functional definition and classification, functional arrangement, functional appraisal.

  • The autoclave process is frequently utilized in the manufacturing of aircraft parts because of the low void content and high fiber volume fraction. However, due to the slow curing process (5∼8 hours per part) and it's limited producibility for complicated shape, this process is very expensive and applied to the relatively simple geometry structures. RTM is considered as an alternative process to overcome the limitation of autoclave process. In this study, the idea of RTM application on the secondary Fairing structure of aircraft has been proved to be technically feasible and very cost effective by changing the multiple part of subassembly into one integral composite structure.

  • The Vocational Rehabilitation Center Expansion Project, with a budget of 15.3 billion KRW, transformed an existing facility into a more eco-friendly, user-friendly, and publicly accessible space. The project involved expanding the building from a basement and two above-ground floors to a basement and six above-ground floors, addressing the shortage of facilities for people with disabilities while promoting eco-friendliness. Design concepts included eco-friendly MASS, improvements to the existing building, social adaptability, and user-centric evacuation measures. Value Engineering (VE) and technical reviews led to proposals for cost reduction and functionality enhancement. Completed in September 2019, the project, renamed "Se-um Center," now hosts seven disability welfare facilities, serving as a vital infrastructure improving the lives of individuals with disabilities in the local community.

Proposed Deterioration-induced Axial Stiffness of Existing Piles in Vertical Extension Structures (수직증축 공동주택 하부 기존말뚝의 열화를 고려한 축강성 제안)

  • In this study, the axial stiffness of existing piles (Kve) of vertical extension remodeled building was quantified through theoretical and experimental approaches. Theoretically induced upper and lower boundary of the pile axial stiffness was estimated by using the formula proposed by Randolph and Wroth (1978), which can estimate the axial stiffness of rigid and flexible pile subjected under soil confinement. In addition, 38 cases of field measurement data on deteriorated piles with various diameters constructed in the period between 1995 - 1997 were taken in to account by overlapping the field data with the theoretical boundary of the axial stiffness. Through this the maximum axial stiffness of existing pile due to deterioration and long service time was presented for various slenderness ratio (L/D), which can be used in estimating the necessary axial stiffness of reinforcing piles(Kvr) for the vertical extension remodeling. The lower 95% value of the estimated axial stiffness of existing pile will be induced through statistical processing.

Hidden Indicator Based PIN-Entry Method Using Audio Signals

  • PIN-entry interfaces have high risks to leak secret values if the malicious attackers perform shoulder-surfing attacks with advanced monitoring and observation devices. To make the PIN-entry secure, many studies have considered invisible radio channels as a secure medium to deliver private information. However, the methods are also vulnerable if the malicious adversaries find a hint of secret values from user's $na{\ddot{i}}ve$ gestures. In this paper, we revisit the state-of-art radio channel based bimodal PIN-entry method and analyze the information leakage from the previous method by exploiting the sight tracking attacks. The proposed sight tracking attack technique significantly reduces the original password complexities by 93.8% after post-processing. To keep the security level strong, we introduce the advanced bimodal PIN-entry technique. The new technique delivers the secret indicator information through a secure radio channel and the smartphone screen only displays the multiple indicator options without corresponding numbers. Afterwards, the users select the target value by following the circular layout. The method completely hides the password and is secure against the advanced shoulder-surfing attacks.

  • Central motion techniques are to mention the central-motion by the limpness motion function and limpness sensory unit function on the body. Central body motion is consisted of the limpness central function by the central body system. To evaluate the signal of central body motion, we are investigated a limpness value of the central function by the central body function on the static state. The concept of limpness motion function was checked the reference of limpness motion signal and limpness sensory signal by the central motion body. For assessment on the limpness sensory variation of the maximum and average in terms of central motion from the static function, and limpness value that was a limpness value of the vision condition of the Vi-${\lambda}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $8.71{\pm}-3.2units$, that was a limpness value of the vestibular condition of the Ve-${\lambda}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $3.05{\pm}-6.52units$, that was a limpness value of the somatosensory condition of the So-${\lambda}_{MAX-AVG}$ with $2.4{\pm}1.9units$. The static sensory motion was made mention of check out at the condition of the limpness sensory unit motion for the comparable values of limpness central motion that was expressed the analysis capacity by the limpness nerve system.   • In spite of various approaching method to satisfy with the owner's requirements in schematic design phase, it is insufficient to evaluate intermediate process of design arithmetically with participating in design process. So the numerous changes of design after completion of design development cause a lot of loss to the design company. The designer arranges owner's requirements to prevent from this loss at the initial stage of schematic design phase systematically and lets owner and stakeholder to evaluate the value of schematic design to satisfy with owner's and stakeholder's requirements. If the evaluated value for schematic design is above a definite value index, the next design phase should be advanced. By this method, the design company can reduce the additional expenses remarkably by preventing with re-design which is occurred by not reflecting owner's intention or by changing owner's intention. Also the designer have the owner to evaluate the result of design and construction. The designer let the owner know whether the owner's requirement should well have been reflected on drawing or not. There is a strong point to be able to minimize the criticism which can be occurred after completion of construction by evaluating for owner's satisfactory degree and by having owner and designer confirm the result of design and construction arithmetically. This paper presents that the loss of design company can be minimized by going over at next step if the value is over a definite value index after evaluating value for each design from design process.

X-band Low Phase Noise VCO Using Dual Coupled Spiral Resonator (Dual Coupled Spiral 공진기를 이용한 X-대역 저위상 잡음 전압 제어 발진기)

  • In this paper, a novel voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) has been presented by using the microstrip square multiple spiral resonator for reducing the phase noise of VCO. The microstrip multiple square resonator has the large coupling coefficient value, which makes a high Q value, and has reduced phase noise of VCO. The VCO with 1.8 V power supply has phase noise of -115.0~-117.34 dBc/Hz @100 kHz in the tuning range, 8.935~9.4 GHz. When it has been compared with microstrip square multiple spiral resonator and coventional spiral resonator, the reduced Q value has been -32.7 dB and -57.6 dB respectively. This low phase noise VCO could ve available to a VCO in X-band.

This pilot project Dong Myeong Service Area and Gas Station project among 5 projects designated and supervised by Ministry of Construction and transportation(MOCT), is to reduce cost, to maintain and control schedule, to keep proper quality, Claim and Risk through Partnering, Design Review, Constructability, Value Engineering and Project Management Information System(PMIS) and so on. Major factors of CM Plan are introduction of the phased and classified Construction Management Services from initiation of project to completion and adaptation of CM technologies and guide the implementation methodologies of the CM Pilot Project in CM construction market.

A Value Analysis of Ecological Restoration Construction Considering Life Cycle Cost and Performance - Focusing on the Wet Media for Slope Revegetation - (생애주기비용과 성능을 고려한 생태복원 공법 가치분석 - 습식 비탈면 기반재를 사례로 -)

  • In order to save costs and enhance quality in construction without damaging the environment, the VE/LCC analysis method is increasingly used. This study was carried out to conduct a value analysis for the ecological restoration of a slope considering life cycle cost and performance. The construction conditions were classified into three types(A, B, C) according to the condition of each base. Three construction methods for slope ecological restoration were selected by each condition. Eventually, a value analysis was conducted for total nine conditions by analyzing the life cycle cost and performance. The gradient of slope and base of Condition 1 were below 1:1.2 and general soil, while condition 2 and 3 were below 1:1.0(reaping rock) and below 1:0.7(soft rock, blasted rock), respectively. A value analysis was conducted based on the value estimated via life cycle cost and performance analysis. The result showed that the B construction method had the highest value in Condition 1 as it showed 108.4, while A and C showed 90.3 and 45.8, respectively. When it comes to Condition 2, Construction Method A indicated the highest value as it showed 89.1(B: 47.5, C: 47.0). In Condition 3, Construction Method A(89.1) was the highest, while B and C showed 55.4 and 40.2, respectively. Based on the result of this study, in order to make a reasonable decision that can enhance quality and reduce costs in slope ecological restoration, the slope ecological restoration method must be reviewed in consideration of life cycle cost and performance.
