슬롯 개구를 통한 평행평판 도파관 내부로의 전자파 펄스 결합문제 해석 (Analysis of Electromagnetic Pulse Coupling Via a Slot Aperture into Parallel-Plate waveguide)

  • 슬롯 개구를 통해 평향평판 도파관 내부를 결합되어지는 전자파 펄스(EMP)의 과도 응답을 해석하기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 개구의 미지 등가 면 자기전류밀도에 대한 혼합 포텐셜 적분 방정식(MPIE)을 세웠고 평행평판 도파관 영역에서의 백터 및 스칼라 포텐셜 그린함수를 개선된 북소영상법을 사용하였을 때 closed form 그림함수를 사용한 결과를 계산시간을 현저히 줄일 수 있었고 본 논문이 제안한 방법의 타당성을 확인하기 위해 기존 방법의 해석결과와 비교해 보았을때 본 논문의 해석결과와 비교적 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다.

재사용화환 표시제도 도입 타당성 및 비용-편익에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Validity and Benefit-Cost of Labeling System for Reuse Wreath)

  • The objective of this study is to analyze the consumer perception of reusable wreath and present the considerations for introducing the labeling system, and to calculate the social benefits and costs of that. For this, We did an internet survey on the perceptions and willingness-to-pay for reuse wreath to 330 adults. As a result, only 56.1 percent of those who ordered wreath were found to check whether they actually arrived. 73.6% of the respondents had the willingness-to-purchase a reusable wreath if the price was reasonable, and 43.6% were in favor of labeling reused wreath as 'reused wreath'. The social benefits of introducing the reusable currency marking system are about 155,692 million won and the social cost about 43.52 million won. If reusable wreath are not recognized and purchased at the price of new one, economic and emotional losses of domestic horticulture farmers and consumers may occur. Therefore, related agencies will be able to expand sales of domestic flower producers and protect the economic and emotional benefits of consumers if they make efforts to establish and operate a reusable wreath labeling system.

Deformation characteristics of spherical bubble collapse in Newtonian fluids near the wall using the Finite Element Method with ALE formulation

  • A finite-element method was employed to analyze axisymmetric unsteady motion of a deformable bubble near the wall. In the present study a deformable bubble in a Newtonian medium near the wall was considered. In solving the governing equations a structured mesh generator was used to describe the collapse of highly deformed bubbles with the Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) method being employed in order to capture the transient bubble boundary effectively. In order to check the accuracy of the present FE analysis we compared the results of our FE solutions with the result of the collapse of spherical bubbles in a large body of fluid in which solutions can be obtained using a 1D FE analysis. It has been found that 1D and 2D bubble deformations are in good agreement for spherically symmetric problems confirming the validity of the numerical code. Non-spherically symmetric problems were also solved for the collapse of bubble located near a plane solid wall. We have shown that a microjet develops at the bubble boundary away from the wall as already observed experimentally. We have discussed the effect of Reynolds number and distance of the bubble center from the wall on the transient collapse pattern of bubble.

  • 회귀모형을 이용하여 자료를 분석하는 경우 이상점이나 영향점의 유무를 검정하는 회귀진단기법은 모형의 적합성을 체크하기 위한 필수적인 도구이다. 이러한 이상점이나 영향점이 존재하는 경우 회귀분석의 결과가 왜곡되어 해석이 된다. Jang과 Anderson-Cook (Quality and Reliability Engineering International, 30, 1409-1425, 2014)은 불꽃그림이란 이름을 붙인 그래픽 방법를 제시하였는데 관측값에 부여된 가중치를 1에서 0으로 변화함에 따라 이상점이나 영향점이 회귀계수 및 잔차제곱합에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴 보았다. 본 연구에서는 다반응 반응표면분석에서 이러한 불꽃그림을 적용하여 보고자 한다.

선박용 파이프 루프 곡선부의 구조해석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Analysis of Curved Portions of Pipe Loops Used in Ships)

  • Many pipes that are arranged longitudinally in ships have loops at intervals to prevent the failure of the pipes as they absorb large portions of the axial load caused by the bending of the hull girder and/or thermal loads when the pipes are carrying very hot fluids. Since the loops are curved at corners, an efficient method for conducting the structural analyses of these curved portions is required. In this paper, a pipe loop was analyzed by an analytical method and by the finite-element method in four different ways, i.e., based on straight-beam elements, curved-beam elements, 2-D shell elements, and 3-D solid elements. The results of the five analyses were compared to check the validity of the current curved-beam theory. The paper includes some suggestions on how to analyze the pipe loops efficiently.

소액 지불 전자상거래 환경을 위한 프로토콜의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of a Micropayment Protocol in Electronic Commerce Environments)

  • An electronic micropayment system, one of electronic payment systems, is suitable especially when a small amount of money is to be paid frequently in order to purchase on-line goods (i.e. database search, software distribution, electronic news service, etc). In addition, since the amount of payment is small, possible damages caused by system failures are lower than other payment system. In this paper, a micropayment protocol in electronic commerce environments on the Internet is proposed, based on the PayWord system. And a micropayment electronic commerce system which executes the protocol proposed is implemented. Unlike the PayWord system, however, the micropayment protocol proposed in this paper is designed in such a way that a merchant does not need to request a payment at the end of every business day since a customer cannot purchase goods beyond length of hash chains, which is specified on a certificate. In addition, the system is able to check the validity as well as the duplicate spending of hash chains. The electronic micropayment system with the proposed protocol is consists of Customers, Merchants, and Brokers. Customers are implemented on Windows NT 4.0 using VC++. Merchants are implemented on Solaris 2.5.1 and gcc 2.8.0 using Netscape Web Server and CGI Methods. HP UX 10.20 is used for Brokers.

점진적(漸進的) 근육이완법(筋肉弛緩法)이 자율신경계(自律神經系)에 미치는 영향(影響) (The Effect of Progressive Muscle Relaxation Therapy on Autonomic Nerve System)

  • Objective : Progressive muscle relaxation(PMR) therapy is the way of mind and body self-regulation which makes major muscles tension to be comfortable condition. It was considered to be important to check the level of relaxation in objective validity. Therefore, Heart rate variability(HRV) is the valuable measurement to investigate the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy on autonomic nerve system. Method : I studied 38 subjects. The subjects were measured HRV at first. And then, Using a CD player, the subjects listened to recorded PMR program for 15 minutes. After this progress, I rechecked HRV. Results : heart rate item of HRV was significantly decreased. Also, the numerical value of SDNN(standard deviation of all NN intervals) and SDSD(standard deviation of differences between adjacent NN intervals) items of HRV were showed significantly increased in all subjects after PMR. Conclusion : It indicated that PMR is efficient for inspiring resistance of the stress and a sense of stability, and PMR is a valuable method to reduce the mind stress and stiffness of body muscle.

항만정온도 해석을 위한 수치모형적용과 상호비교분석

  • 항내 정온도는 항만의 박지(泊地) 내 수면의 정온한 정도를 나타내는 것으로서, 선박의 접이안, 하역작업과 관계가 있지만 이보다 안전한 피항지로서의 최소한의 수역을 파악하기 위한 중요한 지표이다. 따라서, 항내 정온도 예측시 항외로부터 입사하는 파랑의 굴절, 회절, 천수 및 반사 등에 의한 항내파고 및 파향의 변화를 복합적으로 해석해야 한다. 그러나 항내 정온도 검토를 위하여 현재 운용 중인 수치모형실험은 각각의 특성에 따른 결과의 상이함에 따라 이에 대한 기본적인 재검토가 필요한 것으로 판단되며, 이에 본 연구에서는 후포항을 대상으로 수치모형실험결과와 비교함으로써 현재 운용 중인 모형의 타당성을 검토하였다.

  • The measurement of dynamic stagger in electric railways is one of the key test parameters to increase speed and maintain safety in electric railways. This paper is introduces a non-contact optical-based measuring instrument of a catenary system in electric railways. The instrument is implemented by utilizing a CCD (Charge Coupled Device) camera installed on the roof of a vehicle for vision acquisition and image processing techniques including the Canny edge detector and the Hough transform to detect contact wires and calculate dynamic stagger. To check the validity of our approach for the intended application, we measured stagger of a overhead wire of a Korea Tilting Train (TTX). The non-contact optical-based measurement system proposed in this paper performs real-time stagger measurement of an activated high-voltage contact wire. By results of this paper, the instrument should be applied to assess performance and reliability of newly developed electric railway vehicles.

Stability Analysis for the Deployment of Unmanned Surface Vehicles

  • Motion control schemes are generally classified into three categories (point stabilization, trajectory tracking, and path following). This paper deals with the problem which is associated with the initial deployment of a group of Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USVs) and corresponding point stabilization. To keep the formation of a group of USVs, it is necessary to set the relationship between each vehicle. A forcing functions such as potential fields are designed to keep the formation and a graph Laplacian is used to represent the connectivity between vehicle. In case of fixed topology of the graph representing the communication between the vehicles, the graph Laplacian is assumed constant. However the graph topologies are allowed to change as the vehicles move, and the system dynamics become discontinuous in nature because the graph Laplacian changes as time passes. To check the stability in the stage of deployment, the system is modeled with Kronecker algebra notation. Filippov's calculus of differential equations with discontinuous right hand sides is then used to formally characterize the behavior of USVs. The stability of the system is analyzed with Lyapunov's stability theory and LaSalle's invariance principle, and the validity is shown by checking the variation of state norm.
