In this paper we studied English listening and speaking test part of foreign language using web and VoiceXML-based education testing system, which is irrespective of time and space. The testing system interface based on VoiceXML consists of user registration module, testing module, and testing result module. User registration module registers user's name and ID, password in user database, and when a tester calls for testing, the User listens to the telephone sound supported by vxml scenario. After that, if a tester logs in, the tester is verified, In the VoiceXML-based education testing system, the manager can reduce time and effort for gaining testing result. The tester listens to the voice by scenario supported by VoiceXML markup language using wire/wireless telephone at any time or anywhere and can improve the effect of foreign language studying by valuating in voice directly. verified. In this paper, we propose a method for personalizing and intelligence of speech Web. The proposed system records information that was demanded in the past as a transaction, explores association rules from those transactions, and discovers itemsets from frequent requests. This method is to recommend relevant information, based on frequent itemsets, to users who have similar inclinations to previous users. As a result of experimenting and implementation of proposed system for verification, we confirmed that the proposed system can recommend previously frequently requested information as relevant information.

언어는 단순히 인간의 의사소통의 수단이 될 뿐만 아니라 사고, 추론, 판단 등의 지적활동의 도구로서 활용된다. 컴퓨터에서는 인간의 언어를 사용하여 인간과 유사한 지적활동을 실현하고 자 하는 연구로 일상언어 컴퓨팅(everyday language computing)이 있다. 본 논문에서는 일상언어 컴퓨팅을 실현하는 한 예로 교통정보 서비스를 위한 대화시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 시스테믹 기능문법(Systemic Functional Grammar: SFG)을 기반으로 사용자의 발화를 3개의 메타기능을 통하여 의미를 분석하고, 메타기능으로 표현된 의미로부터 시스템의 발화를 생성한다 기존 교통정보 서비스는 DB의 질의검색과 일률적인 정보제공이 일반적인 것에 비해, 제안하는 대화시스템은 대화의 의미 속에 포함된 사용자의 의도 및 의미를 분석함으로써 보다 적절한 정보를 제공하여 사용자의 서비스만족도를 향상 시키는 교통정보서비스를 가능하게 한다. 또한, 웹과 연동되는 VXML(Voice Extend Makeup Language)을 대화시스템에 적용함으로서 실용적인 인터페이스를 실행하였다.

최근 음성시장은 VoiceXML 을 이용하여 간단히 시나리오를 작성할 수 있어, 보다 쉽게 다양한 어플리케이션을 개발하여 서비스할 수 있게 되었다. HUVOIS-VAD 는 KT가 자체 개발한 음성인식/합성 플랫폼 시스템인 HUVOIS 에 VXML 을 이용하여 시나리오를 구성한 음성인식/합성 VAD 시스템으로, 사내 및 사외 여러 사이트에 설치 운용 중이다. 특히, Web 을 기반으로 운용시스템을 구축하여 운용자는 어느 곳에서나, 운용 DB를 점검하거나, 인식사전을 구성하고, 운용할 수 있으며, 사용자 또한 개인의 DB 를 직접 관리하도록 하고, 회사의 DB 와 연계하여 개인의 VAD로 동시에 사용할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 Web 을 기반으로 구성된 HUVOIS-VAD 시스템에 대하여 기술하고자 한다.

In this research, it has been shown that how the computer can recognize and understand spoken natural language and its symbolization using VoiceXML and Grammar Specific Language in developing telephone based conversational automatic speech recognition flight information system. In order for user to hear correct information, ASP Module has been revised and its effectivities has been experimented on the Voice portal airplane information system platform.

In this paper, we propose a prototype of the SpeechWeb application using the information selection agent. We describe its design and implementation method and illustrated the processing results with the aid of some screenshots. Proposed SpeechWeb application presents the associated contents to the user by the aid of dynamic voice-anchors. These contents are presented using the apriori algorithm, which is one of data mining techniques. The application is better than the existing user-initiative structure from the viewpoint of making the user's interesting induction. Moreover, we believe that our proposed application is effective in information retrieval through wired and wireless telephone networks.

In this paper, we implemented practical application service using VoiceXML. Developers can utilize the advantages of using VoiceXML such as reducing development time and sharing contents between applications. Up to now, speech related services were developed using APIs and programming languages such as C/C++ or exclusive developing tools, which methods depend on system architectures. For this reasons, reuse of contents and resources was very difficult. If developers want to change scenarios of the application services or change platforms, they have to edit and recompile their program sources. To solve these problems, nowadays, companies develop their applications using VoiceXML. But, there's poor grip of actual problems can be occurred when they use VoiceXML. To overcome these problems, we implemented stock trading system using VoiceXML. We found out problems which occurred during developing services. We proposed solutions to these problems And, we analyzed strong points and weak points of applications using suggested system.

Speech DB is basically required factor when we are study for phonetics, speech recognition and speech synthesis and so on. The quantity and quality of speech DB decide the efficiency of system that we develop. therefore. speech DB has an extremely important factor, Recently, development of the various telephone service technique such as voice portal. it is actual condition where the necessity of collection of telephone speech DB. The existing IVR application telephone speech DB collection system used C/C++ language or the exclusive development tool. Thus it is the actual condition where the recycle of each application service for resources is difficult and have a problem of many labors and time necessity. But. VoiceXML is a language having tag form ipredicated in XML. which has easy and simple grammar system. Therefore, if we make a few efforts we could draw up easily. it has a merit reducing labors and time, Also, VoiceXML has many advantages of various telephone speech DB gathering because of changing contents of DB. In this paper, we introduce telephone speech DB gathering system which is the mast important factor for development of speech information processing technique.
