Energy-efficient virtual resource allocation algorithm has become a hot research topic in cloud computing. However, most of the existing allocation schemes cannot ensure each type of resource be fully utilized. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a virtual machine (VM) allocation algorithm on the basis of multi-dimensional resource, considering the diversity of user's requests. First, we analyze the usage of each dimension resource of physical machines (PMs) and build a D-dimensional resource state model. Second, we introduce an energy-resource state metric (PAR) and then propose an energy-aware multi-dimensional resource allocation algorithm called MRBEA to allocate resources according to the resource state and energy consumption of PMs. Third, we validate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm by real-world datasets. Experimental results show that MRBEA has a better performance in terms of energy consumption, SLA violations and the number of VM migrations.

임베디드 Java 플랫폼은 다양한 하드웨어 및 운영체제에 적용되어야 하므로, 하드웨어에 종속적인 부분과 운영체제에 종속적인 부분이 적용되는 기기마다 가변적이다. Java 라이브러리의 경우 가상머신(VM: Virtual Machine)에 종속적으로 구현되며 네이티브 코드들로 상당부분 구현되기 때문에 다양한 VM과 결합하여 임베디드 Java 플랫폼을 구성할 경우 VM에 종속적인 부분을 가변 코드로 관리할 필요가 있다. 본 논문은 임베디드 Java플랫폼의 적용 속성을 고려하여 가변 코드를 관리하는 방법을 제안하고 이를 구현해 본다.

Nowadays, various wireless internet contents are serviced in a cellular phone. However, because of the memory limit of the cellular phone, you should delete the wireless internet contents periodically. Also it has been quite inconvenient to move the existing data to a new cellular phone. In this paper I proposed MobileFolder to reuse wireless internet contents and provided a simple client application in a VM environment.

Since cellular phone has come into wide use, the mobile advertisement has been considered as a new type of advertisement. In this paper, I proposed the system to make Images in various format so that users can make advertisement contents more easily. Also 1 proposed the advertisement on the VM application which can be connected to the sewer via wireless network.

Excess molar volumes (Vm E ) of binary liquid mixtures: xC6H5CH3 + (1-x1)CH3CN or + (1-x1)C6H5NO2, or + (1-x1)C2H5NO2 have been determined as a function of mole fraction of C6H5CH3 (x) at a temperature of 303.15 K over a entire range of composition. The densities of the binary liquid mixtures were determined by pycnometrically. The VmE values of the mixtures have been found to be negative over the whole composition in order of C6H5CH3 + C6H5NO2, < C6H5CH3 + CH3CN, and < C6H5CH3 + C2H5NO2. The negative magnitude of VmE suggests the presence of intermolecular interaction in the three binary liquid mixtures.

전 세계적으로 클라우드 서버의 가상화 기술이 중요해졌다. VM에서 사용되는 데이터 특징을 기준으로 에너지를 효율적으로 사용하기 위한 연구가 지속적으로 연구되고 있다. 그러나 접속자가 적거나, 특정 시간에만 접속이 되는 경우에도 웹 서버를 작동하기 위하여 VM를 실행되고 있다. 그에 따라 VM 자원 낭비가 되고 있다. 로드 밸런서를 통해 접속 요청이 없는 웹 서버는 동작시키지 않음으로써 자원 효율을 높이고자 한다. 그에 따라 본 논문에서는 에너지 효율이 높은 로드 밸런서를 설계하였다.

This Paper deals with a Platform for diagnosis monitoring of DC-DC converter system based on Java virtual machine. This platform is designed for estimating diagnostic parameters of DC-DC converter system based on system identification method and displaying Web-page on operating status. For Web-service, hardware of platform is baled on a Strongarm processor and software bale is designed on Linux and java virtual machine.

클라우드(cloud)를 이용한 응용 실행에서 클라우드 서비스 브로커 (cloud service broker, CSB)는 효과적인 자원 사용 및 서비스 수준 협약(service level agreement, SLA) 보장 등의 장점을 가진다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 CSB 를 통한 응용 실행에서의 가상 머신 (virtual machine, VM) 할당 기법들을 소개하며 BestFit (BF), WorstFit (WF), Modified BestFit (MBF), Modified WorstFit (MWF), Reserved Instance-aware Modified BestFit (M-MBF) 의 평균 VM 사용률을 비교한다.
