Design of Hybrid V2X Communication Platform for Evaluation of Commercial Vehicle Autonomous Driving and Platooning (상용차 자율 군집 주행 평가를 위한 하이브리드 V2X 통신 플랫폼 설계)

  • In this paper, we propose a design method and process for hybrid V2X communication platform that combines WAVE communication and LTE-V2X communication which are C-ITS communication protocols for vehicle environments and Legacy LTE communication which is a commercial mobile communication for evaluating the autonomous platooning platform of commercial vehicles. For a safe and efficient autonomous platooning platform, an low-latency communication function based on C-ITS communication is required, and to control it, commercial communication functions such as Legacy LTE, which can be connected at all times, are required. In order to evaluate such a system, the evaluation equipment must have the same level of communication performance or higher. The main design contents presented in this paper will be applied to the implementation of hybrid V2X terminals for functional evaluation.

Characterization of NOx Reduction on Filter Bag Support System at Low Temperature using Powder Type MnOx and V2O2/TiO2 Catalysts (분말형 MnOx와 V2O2/TiO2 촉매를 이용한 저온영역의 백필터 공정에서 질소산화물 제거 특성)

  • In this study, the selective catalytic reduction of $NO_x$ with ammonia was carried out in a filter bag support reactor. The experiments were performed by powder type $MnO_x$ and $V_2O_5$/$TiO_2$ catalyst at low temperature between 130 and $250^{\circ}C$. Also, the effect of $SO_2$ and $H_2O$ on the NO conversion was investigated under our test conditions. The powder type catalysts were analyzed by X-ray photoelectron spectrum (XPS), X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). It was observed that NO removal efficiency of the powder type $V_2O_5$/$TiO_2$ catalyst was 85% at low temperature($200^{\circ}C$) under presence of oxygen and that of $MnO_x$ was 50% at the same condition. The powder type $V_2O_5$/$TiO_2$ catalyst, in conclusion, was found to be available for SCR reaction in a filter bag support system.

Effect of Oxygen Annealing on the Set Voltage Distribution Ti/MnO2/Pt Resistive Switching Devices

  • Significant improvements in the switching voltage distribution are required for the development of unipolar resistive memory devices using $MnO_x$ thin films. The $V_{set}$ of the as-grown $MnO_x$ film ranged from 1 to 6.2 V, whereas the $V_{set}$ of the oxygen-annealed film ranged from 2.3 to 3 V. An excess of oxygen in an $MnO_x$ film leads to an increase in $Mn^{4+}$ content at the $MnO_x$ film surface with a subsequent change in the $Mn^{4+}/Mn^{3+}$ ratio at the surface. This was attributed to the change in $Mn^{4+}/Mn^{3+}$ ratios at the $MnO_x$ surface and to grain growth. Oxygen annealing is a possible solution for improving the switching voltage distribution of $MnO_x$ thin films. In addition, crystalline $MnO_x$ can help stabilize the $V_{set}$ and $V_{reset}$ distribution in memory switching in a Ti/$MnO_x$/Pt structure. The improved uniformity was attributed not only to the change of the crystallinity but also to the redox reaction at the interface between Ti and $MnO_x$.

  • Self-driving vehicles are a type of smart vehicle with the help of ICT technology, which means a vehicle that operates without the intervention of a driver.Vehicles with vehicle safety communication technology (V2X) applied use information detected from various sensors or other vehicles/infrastructures to enable the smart vehicle to accurately and quickly predict the driver's potential danger situation, contributing to more stable autonomous driving. In this paper, among V2X communication technologies, a vehicle-to-vehicle communication (V2V) simulation communication technology is used to present a scenario for preventing collisions in autonomous vehicles. A vehicle collision prevention system based on V2V simulated communication was implemented and the suggested collision prevention application scenario was demonstrated. The suggested collision prevention utilization scenario can be considered as one application case of V2V communication technologies that are currently being developed/applied.

Using an idea from the paper of Baker, Lawrence and Zorzitto [2], the superstability problems of the functional inequalities $\Vert f(x+y) - f(x)f(y) \Vert \leq H_i (\Vert x \Vert, \Vert y \Vert)$ shall be investigated.

Prediction of $EC_{50}$ of Photobacterium phosphoreum for CAHs and Chlorophenol Derivatives Using QSAR (QSAR방법을 이용한 CAHs와 Chlorophenol 유도체에 대한 $EC_{50}$값 예측)

  • Measurement of inhibition of bioluminescence in Photobacterium phosphoreum has been porposed as a sensitive and rapid procedure to monitor toxic substances. However, at first, $EC_{50}$ which shows degree of toxicity to each toxic substances must be calculated. QSAR (Quantitative Structure Activity Relationship) model can be used to estimate $EC_{50}$ to save time and endeavor. Moderately high correlation coefficients ($r^2{\geq}$ 0.97) were calculated from the linear correlation between $EC_{50}$ and molecular connectivity indices of CAHs (chlorinated aliphatic hydrocarbons)such as $^0X$, $^0X^V$, $^1X$, $^2X$ and $^3X^v_c$ and quadratic correlation between $EC_{50}$ and $^0X$, $^0X^V$, $^2X^V$, $^3X_c$, $^3X^V_c$ and P. It shows that the molecular connection indices in carbon structure is contributed to biological characters with linear relation and that in the other one with quadratic relation. The $EC_{50}$ of chlorophenol derivatives had quadratic relation with the value of octanol/water prtition coefficients ($r^2$=0.99) and linear and quadratic relation with the number of chlorine compound (($r^2{\geq}$0.94). This confirms the already known trend of increasing toxicity with increasing ability of a compound to diffuse through cell membrane and number of chlorine substitution.

  • 최근 자동차는 자율주행차 혹은 스마트카로 진화하며 다양한 외부 통신 인터페이스를 포함하고 있습니다. 각 기능 통제를 위해 차량 소프트웨어의 복잡성과 자동차 기술 발전에 따라 통신 인터페이스의 증가로 인하여 자동차에 대한 사이버 공격 가능성 및 위험성이 꾸준히 증가하고 있습니다. 특히, 커넥티드카의 안전을 위한 V2X(Vehicle to Everything)통신이 보안 취약점을 가질 경우, 이는 탑승자의 생명에 직접적인 위협을 초래할 수 있습니다. 그러나, 지능형 교통 시스템에서는 익명성을 위해 일정 시간이 지나면 차량의 식별정보를 변경해 공격자를 찾는데 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 지능형 교통 시스템 내에서 이상행위를 유발하는 차량을 탐지하기 위해 V2X에 활용되는 표준 메시지 정보를 통해 식별하여 추적하는 기술을 제안하고자 한다.

  • Whilst vehicle-to-every (V2X) is still at a research and development phase, we are nearing the point when this technology could begin to enter in commercial mass markets. However, this transition is unlikely to happen until a number of issues have been resolved which currently hinder the developing of V2X technology and its capacity to provide value to end-users and other actors. This roadmap has set out plan for how these issues may be overcome, based on eight key goals that the automotive industry, network operators and policy makers should aim to achieve. Suggestions for near-term activities that may be carried out towards meeting these goals have also been identified.

  • The small electric vehicles equipped with V2X(vehicle to everything) systems may provide more information and function to the existing navigation system of the vehicle. The key components of V2X technology include V2V (vehicle to vehicle), V2N(vehicle to network) and V2I (vehicle to infrastructure). This study is to design and implementation of VI type E-PTO which is interfaced with external equipments, the work designs the components of E-PTO such as DC/DC converter, DC/AC converter, battery bidirectional charging system etc. Also, it implements the devices and control systems for driving. The test results of VI type E-PTO components showed allowable 10% requirements of transient voltage variation rate and recovery time within 100ms for start/stop and normal operation.

Measurements of X-Ray Production Cross-Sections for 0.5¡­1.2-MeV Proton Beam (0.5~l.2-MeV 양성자빔에 대한 X-선 발생단면적의 측정)

  • The measurements of X-ray production cross-sections for 0.5~1.2-MeV proton beam are carried out on Cu and Au. For this experiment, the proton tram generated from the SNU 1.5-MV Tandem Van do Graaff accelerator is Incident on the target. The X-rays and the backscattered protons from the irradiated target are detected simultaneously by the Si(Li) X-ray detector and the SSB (Silicone Surface Barrier) charged particle detector The measured values of X-ray production cross-sections are compared with other experimental values and theoretical values such as the PWBA (Plane Wave Born Approximation) and the ECPSSR(Perturbed Stationary State corrected Energy loss, Coulomb deflection, Relativistic effects) values. For measured cross-sections near 1.0- MeV proton energy, the ECPSSR (D.D. Cohenet al., 1985) shows better agreement than the PWBA. Particularly, that of Au for 1.2 MeV proton beam is 9.69$\pm$ 0.39 barns which deviates from the ECPSSR by less than 5%. and the experimental data for 0.5~1.2- MeV proton agree with most of other experimental values within 30%.
