Identification of Condensation Products from Vanillyl Alcohol (바니닐 알콜 축합생성물(縮合生成物)의 동정(同定))

  • 알카리 리그닌의 착색구조(着色構造)를 확실(確實)히 하기 위(爲)하여 리그닌 모델 화합물(化合物)인 바니릴알콜을 질소하(窒素下)에 알카리로 처리(處理)하였다. 그림-1과 같이 ${\alpha}$-1 결합(結合)인 화합물(化合物) I., ${\alpha}$-1와 ${\alpha}$-5의 결합(結合) 구조(構造)인 화합물(化合物) II, III, IV와 ${\alpha}$-5결합(結合) 구조(構造)인 화합물(化合物) V를 단리(單離) 동정(同定)하였다. 이들 화합물(化合物)은 공기산화(空氣酸化) 및 알카리 처리(處理)에 의(依)해 착색(着色)되었다.

  • 본 논문은 디지털 위성용 하향변환기에 적용되는 고안정 전압제어 마이크로파 발진기의 위상잡음 특성을 분석하였다. 전압제어 마이크로파 발진기는 능동소자의 비선형 등가모델과 궤환회로의 영향을 고려하여 유전체 공진 마이크로파 발진기를 위상잡음과 출력 전력에 절충(trade-off)하여 설계하였고, 13.25GHz의 발진주파수에서 출력이득은 12dBm이고, 위상잡음은 옵셋 주파수 100KHz 에서 -107.91dBc를 보였다. 바렉터 다이오드 동작에 의한 튜닝 범위는 2MHz/V로 위상동기 발진기에 응용할 수 있음을 보였다.

  • An algorithm for extracting the BJT DC model parameter values for SPICE model is proposed. The nonlinear optimization method for analyzing the device I-V data using the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm is proposed and the method for calculating initial conditions of model parameters to improve the convergence characteristics is proposed. The base current and collector current obtained from the proposed method shows the root mean square error of 6.04% compared with the measured data of the PNP BJT named 2SA1980.

  • The behavior of charged particle in dielectrics have a many effects on characteristics of the insulating materials. In this paper, numerical analysis method by hopping model was investigated application of TSC. As the results, there was a difference between characteristics of TSC by dipole polarization. Physical constant of movable ion corresponding to the experimental results was evaluated and also. Numerical calculations of unsaturated TSC and I-V characteristics were carried out by was of hopping model.

  • 본 논문은 칼라 정보와 움직임 정보를 이용한 객체 분할 기법의 설계에 대하여 소개한다. 객체 분할 알고리즘은 L*u*v 공간의 칼라 특성과 움직임 특성을 결합하여 설계하였다. 즉 공간 분할은 mean shift 칼라 클러스터링 알고리즘(color clustering algorithm)을 사용하여 중심 칼라 영역에 따라 동일한 칼라 지역으로 통합한다. 시간 분할은 움직임 검출을 위하여 affine six parameter 움직임 모델과 optical flow equation를 이용하여 움직임이 발생한 부분을 검출한다. 다음에 공간 분할과 시간 분할에 따라 결과를 통합하고 MAD(mean absolute difference)를 사용하여 객체를 추출하는 알고리즘을 설계하였다.

Geochemical Experiment for Effective Treatment of Abandoned Mine Wastes (광산폐석의 효과적 처리를 위한 지화학적 연구)

  • The geochemical experiments were carried out to investigate a removal effect of heavy metals in abdndoned metallic mine wastes, and to conceive a treatment techniques of them. In order to prevent contamination, experiment appature was made of acrylic acid resin and polyethylene which resist to acid and alkali. Experiment models are devided into four groups based on the system environments, distribution patterns and a kind of filling materials. The first group is background model(model I ) which is filled with waste only and opened to air. The second one is four layer group which is subdivided into two models, opened and closed systems, and the third mix group which is subdivided into three models based on mixing ratio of filling materials and system environment like a layered group. The forth is composed of two layer model, lower one composed of waste and upper one limestone chips. Solution drained from Model Ishows a high contents of heavy metals on the all terms of experiments. Among the models, however, the closed mix model V and Ⅶ show the most effective removal of heavy metals liberated from wastes. Models having different mixing ratios of filling materials on closed systems does not affect in heavy metal removal effect. But, the distribution patterns of filling materials affect very much on removal effect of heavy metals. The closed models with same constitution ratios and distribution patterns of filling materials show more and less effective removal to the open models.

Fabrication and Ionic Current Rectification Characteristics of Biomimetic Aluminum Oxide Membrane (생체모방형 비대칭 나노채널을 갖는 산화알루미늄 분리막 제조 및 이온 정류 특성)

  • In the present study, a biomimetic alumina membrane was fabricated by using selenic acid as an electrolyte to overcome the asymmetry limit of the square pulse anodization process. The prepared membrane has conical channels with a minimum diameter of 10 nm, a maximum diameter of 50 nm, and a length of 5 ㎛. The rectification property was higher than membranes fabricated by sulfuric acid. It showed 2.9 times larger current at +1 V than -1 V. Also, the membrane, which sulfonic acid group was introduced by surface modification, showed 4.2 times larger rectification property at -1 V than +1 V. Theoretical verifications were supported by the numerical analyses of 2D models. The results of the present study present a convenient method to fabricate two type membranes with different rectification properties and are expected to be used to control ion transport.

  • The LAPS device of fast response and high sensitivity, based on electrochemical potential difference, and its system were fabricated for the precise measurement of pH changes and its characteristic were investigated. The electrostatic variation characteristics of LAPS according to the pH changes and parameters in the device were verified through a simulation using LAPS equivalent circuit model. The LAPS device and its system were fabricated on the basis of the result of simulation. The fabricated LAPS system showed linear sensitivity (about 56 mV/pH within the range of pH 2 to pH 11. In order to overcome the defect of general urea sensor (especially slow response time), urease immobilized nitrocellulose membrane was attached on the LAPS and resulted in the very fast response time, 0.29 mV/sec, 0.86 mV/sec at urea concentration of $50{\mu}g/ml,\; 500{\mu}g/ml$, respectively. And also in order to measure the uranyl ion, the uranyl ion selective sensing membrane with calix[6]arene derivative was used and its sensitivity was 25mV/concentration decade in the wide uranyl ion concentration range of $10^{-11}M\;to\;10^{-4}M$.

  • In this paper, we present the design of Schottky diodes and voltage multiplier for UHF-band passive RFID applications. The Schottky diodes were fabricated using Titanium (Ti/Al/Ta/Al)-Silicon (n-type) junction in $0.35\;{\mu}m$ CMOS process. The Schottky diode having $4{\times}10{\times}10\;{\mu}m^{2}$ contact area showed a turn-on voltage of about 150 mV for the forward diode current of $20\;{\mu}A$. The breakdown voltage is about -9 V, which provides sufficient peak inverse voltage necessary for the voltage multiplier in the RFID tag chip. The effect of the size of Schottky diode on the turn-on voltage and the input impedance at 900 MHz was investigated using small-signal equivalent model. Also, the effect or qualify factor of the diode on the input voltage to the tag chip is examined, which indicates that high qualify factor Schottky diode is desirable to minimize loss. The fabricated voltage multiplier resulted in a output voltage of more than 1.3 V for the input RF signal of 200mV, which is suitable for long-range RFID applications.

Determination of porosity and effective porosity of saturated porous media using a permittivity method in the laboratory (유전율법을 이용한 다공질 매질의 공극률 및 유효공극률의 측정에 관한 연구)

  • In order to evaluate groundwater movement and the infiltration of contaminants, such as petroleum products, the determination of porosity and effective porosity is very important. Porosity and effective porosity are important physical parameters that determine the transfer and movement of water and solutes in porous media. Various methods of determining these parameters have been developed, with varying degrees of accuracy and applicability. Most of the existing methods produce static results. They do not produce instantaneous and real time of porosity and effective porosity in a porous media. In this study, we used a new permittivity method called Frequency Domain Reflectometry with Vector analyzer (FDR-V) to determine the porosity and effective porosity of some sand samples in the laboratory. The advantage of the FDR-V method is that it instantaneously determines the temporal variation of dielectric constants of porous media. Then, the porosity and the effective porosity of porous media are computed using well established empirical equations. Results obtained from the FDR-V method compared favorably with results from other permittivity methods such as gravimetric, injection and replacement tests. The ratio of effective porosity to porosity was 85 - 92 %, when FDR-V was used. This value compared favourably with 90 %, which has been usually quoted in previous studies. Considering the convenience and its applicability, the EDR-V permittivity holds a great potential in porous media and contaminant transport studies.
