학교도서관 활용수업에 대한 교과교사의 인식 연구 (A Study on the Recognition of Teachers about School Library-Assisted Instruction)

  • 학생의 교과학습능력 및 문제해결능력을 향상시키고 학습태도를 변화시키는 등 자기주도적 학습능력을 신장하고 실현하기 위해선 학교도서관 활용수업에 대한 교과교사들의 인식이 높아야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 도서관 전담인력(사서교사, 사서, 일반교사)에 따라 일선 교과교사들이 느끼는 학교도서관 활용수업(집단형태별, 수업모형별, 협력수업모형별)에 대한 필요성과 효과성에 유의미한 차이가 있는지를 밝혀서 그 결과를 교육현장에 발전적으로 적용하여 학교도서관 활용수업을 활성화하고자 한다. 전술한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 경기도 10개 지역의 30개 고등학교의 교과교사 278명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다.

삼첨판 폐쇄증 Fontan 수술 3례 보고 (Fontan Operation for 3 Cases of Tricuspid Atresia)

  • Three cases of tricuspid atresia were treated by Fontan varieties of operation in this department in 1980. The first case was 19 year old girl who underwent Glenn operation at the age of 6 years. Her second operation was done with ASD closure and 16mm Ionescu-Shiley valved conduit insertion between right atrium and main pulmonary artery. The second case was a 5 year old boy who underwent Kreutzer operation successfully utilizing 14mm Ionescu-Shiley va]ved conduit. The above mentioned 2 cases were Type Ib after Keith`s classification, whose immediate postoperative courses were complicated by pleura] effusion [in 2nd case chylothorax] hepatomegaly, and ascites. Those complications were relieved completely by medical treatment and closed thoractomy; Postoperative follow-up up to 11 months and 1 year periods were satisfactory with disappearance of cyanosis and dyspnea. The third case was a 8 year old boy who had complete TGA with TA [Keith`s Type IIb] who underwent Kreutze`s operation utilizing 14mm Ionescu-Shiley valved conduit, he died of low cardiac output Immediately after open heart surgery.

Performance Enhancement of a Low Speed Axial Compressor Utilizing Simultaneous Tip Injection and Casing Treatment of Groove Type

  • Performance of a low speed axial compressor is enhanced through a proper configuration of blade row tip injection and casing treatment of groove type. Air injectors were mounted evenly spaced upstream of the blade row within the casing groove and were all aligned parallel to the compressor axis. The groove, which covers all the blade tip chord length, extends all-round the casing circumference. Method of investigation is based on solution of the unsteady form of the Navier-Stokes equations utilizing $k-{\omega}$ SST turbulence model. Extensive parametric studies have been carried out to explore effects of injectors' flow momentums and yaw angles on compressor performance, while being run at different throttle valve setting. Emphasis has been focused on situations near to stall condition. Unsteady numerical analyses for untreated casing and no-injection case for near stall condition provided to discover two well-known criteria for spike stall inception, i.e., blade leading edge spillage and trailing edge back-flow. Final results showed that with only 6 injectors mounted axially in the casing groove and at yaw angle of 15 degrees opposite the direction of the blade row rotation, with a total mass flow rate of only 0.5% of the compressor main flow, surprisingly, the stall margin improves by 15.5%.

Fabrication and Electrical Characteristics of a Lateral type GaN Field Emission Diode

  • A lateral type GaN field emission diodes were fabricated by utilizing metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). In forming the pattern, two kinds of procedures were proposed: a selective etching method with electron cyclotron resonance-reactive ion etching (ECR-RIE) or a simple selective growth by utilizing $Si_3N_4$ film as masking layer. The fabricated device using the ECR-RIE exhibited electrical characteristics such as a turn-on voltage of 35 V for 7 ${\mu}m$ gap and an emission current of ${\sim}580$ nA/10tips at anode-to-cathode voltage of 100 V These new field emission characteristics of GaN tips are believed to be due to a low electron affinity as well as the shorter inter-electrode distance.

우리나라 폐교 유형과 활용 현황 연구 - 국내 폐교 사례를 중심으로 - (Study of types and condition of utilizing closed schools in South Korea - The Case of Closed Schools in Nationwide -)

  • Due to urbanization and industrialization, the population of rural areas has sharply decreased, and the social phenomena of low fertility and aging have occurred due to many factors such as the spread of individualism and single-person households derived from urbanization and economic growth. In order to cope with the low birth rate and the aged society, the Korean government has invested 152.1 trillion won from 2006 to 2015 and to proceeded total 231 projects in 3 different areas including the low fertility(95 projects), the aged society(78 projects), and the growth momentum(58 projects). Among the social problems caused by the low birth rate and the aged society, there have been not enough studies on the closed schools which will result from the social phenomenon of decreases in the school age population. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current extent of utilizing closed schools in Korea, to derive some types based on the analysis, and to provide basic data on the use of closed schools in Korea in the future. The types of closed schools can be classified into education facilities, social welfare facilities, cultural facilities, public sports facilities, income growing facilities, and others. Based on the classification, the analyses of the characteristics of each type for the facilities are presented.

스크립토그래퍼를 활용한 표현적 실험 타이포그래피 및 활자체의 창작: <질주하는 활자>와 <천상의 활자>를 중심으로 (Creating Expressive and Experimental Typography and Typeface by Utilizing Scriptographer: Focused on Rush Type and Celestial Type)

  • 디지털 시대 이전, 글자를 표현하기 위해 주로 사용했던 도구는 붓과 펜이었다. 따라서 그 시대를 투영하는 조형언어 역시 붓과 펜이 그려내는 형식과 양식을 중심으로 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 디지털 시대에 등장한 새로운 도구와 기술은 타이포그래피의 표현에 있어 그 한계를 무색하게 했다. 즉, 사용자가 새로운 도구를 습득하여 효과적으로 활용하기만 하면 표현적이고 실험적인 타이포그래피와 활자체를 쉽고 빠르게 만들 수 있게 된 것이다. 본 연구는 그 사례에 대한 탐구로써, 표현적 실험 타이포그래피의 특징과 의의를 역사적 맥락에서 파악하고, 어도비 일러스트레이터용 오픈 소스 스크립팅 플러그인으로 개발된 '스크립토그래퍼(Scriptographer)'라는 새로운 도구를 소개, 그 장단점과 활용 가능성을 조사한다. 더 나아가, 성공적인 선행 연구의 사례 분석을 통해 실천적 토대를 마련하고, 스크립토그래퍼를 이용하여 창작한 실험 타이포그래피 연작-<질주하는 활자>와 <천상의 활자>-으로 본 연구의 실효성을 가늠하고자 한다.

조선왕릉 활용사업 분석 및 활성화 방안 연구 (An Analysis and Activation of the Projects Utilizing the Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty)

  • 2009년 조선왕릉 40기가 제 33차 세계유산위원회에서 유네스코 세계유산으로 등재된 후 한국 정부는 "세계유산 조선왕릉 보존관리 및 활용 기본계획"을 발표하는 등 적극적인 정책을 추진하고 있다. 그럼에도 불구하고 조선왕릉의 활용사업은 아직 시작단계라고 할 수 있으며, 이에 관한 학술적 논의도 거의 없는 실정이다. 본 연구는 2009년부터 2014년까지 6년간 문화재청이 추진한 조선왕릉 활용사업 311개 전 사업을 대상으로 분석하였다. 연구방법으로는 문헌조사와 내용분석법을 사용하였다. 내용분석은 문화재청이 제시했던 문화재 활용유형을 바탕으로 교육적 활용, 관광적 활용, 복합적 활용 및 산업적 활용을 분석틀로 삼았다. 분석결과 조선왕릉 활용사업은 단순한 교육적, 관광적 활용사업에 머물러 있었고, 산업적 활용은 아직 수행되지 못하였다. 또 각 지구관리소별로 유사한 사업들로 구성되어 있고 왕릉별로 독특한 사업이 부족했다. 사업들도 주로 단발성사업이었으며, 투입된 예산도 규모가 작았다. 아울러 정보통신기술(IT)시대에 왕릉현장 위주의 사업에 치중되어 있고 디지털과 온라인을 활용한 융합사업이 미흡하였다. 앞으로 조선왕릉 활용사업에 대한 예산규모의 확대, 왕릉의 독특한 콘텐츠 개발, 산업적 활용사업의 개발, 온라인과 디지털 융합사업 개발, 조선왕릉 활용을 위한 새로운 중장기 계획의 수립 등이 필요하다.

폐타이어의 철도진동 저감효과에 대한 실험적 연구 (Reduction Effect of Railroad Vibration by Utilizing Waste Tires)

  • This paper describes the results of a series of field experiments which are carried out to assess the reduction effect of railroad vibration by utilizing waste tires. The ground vibration due to train service is measured in Honam Railroad line and Kyongbu Railroad line to assess the ground vibration with the domestic railroad line and train type before field model test. From the results of these tests, frequency on train service is presented from 5Hz to 100Hz and a range of excellence frequency is presented to be about from 20Hz to 40Hz in the domestic railroad line. Also, plate bearing tests are conducted to evaluate the variation of bearing capacity with different thickness of the waste tire layer and the fill layer. Finally, field model test is performed by using tire chips ($5cm{\times}5cm$ in size) as a reduction material of railroad vibration. The reduction effect of railroad vibration by utilizing waste tires increases with increasing the thickness of the waste tire layer and the frequency of the vibration source. The results of this experimental study was shown that the waste tire can be used for reduction of the railroad vibration.

사이즈 코리아 인체 측정 자료에 근거한 30~40대 플러스 사이즈 남성의 체형 특성 및 체형 (Body-shape characteristics and body types of plus-size men in their 30s and 40s based on Korean anthropometric data)

  • This study utilized data to classify and characterize the body types of plus-size adult men aged in their 30s and 40s. Diversity is an important factor in the era of inclusive design, and discussion about size diversity to include the plus size should be accommodated. Data from 493 adult men classified as obese (with a World Health Organization criterion ≥25 BMI) were used for the analysis. The results of the study are as follows. Six independent factors were extracted using factor analysis for cluster analysis, which were then classified into five types. Type 1 (29.01%) was identified as body type I with the smallest degree of obesity. Type 2 (15.4%) was identified as body type Y with wide shoulders and a thin waist. Type 3 (14.2%) was the largest body volume (body type O), while the fourth (19.27%) identified as body type H has a large height and upper body. Lastly, type 5 (22.11%) has a long lower body and a slim abdomen, referred to as body type X. This study presents a basis for the development of various clothing sizes utilizing the body shape characteristics of plus-size men in their 30s and 40s. Follow-up research is needed to develop patterns for plus size men and to design various products.

Analytical Approach for Optimal Allocation of Distributed Generators to Minimize Losses

  • In this paper the integration of Distributed Generation (DG) in radial distribution system is investigated by computing the optimal site and size of DG to be placed. An analytical expression based on equivalent current injection has been derived by utilizing topological structure of radial distribution system to find optimal size of DG to minimize losses. In the presented formulation, the optimal DG placement is obtained without repeatedly computing the load flow. The proposed formulation can be used to find the optimal size of all types of DGs namely Type-I, Type-II, Type-III and Type-IV DGs. The investigations are carried out on IEEE 33-bus and 69-bus radial distribution systems. The optimal DG placement results into reduction in active and reactive power losses and improvement in voltage profile of the buses.
