In this paper, the difficulties involved in analyzing and designing a management system for product development are discussed with reference to reducing the impact of products on the environment. We propose some models and methods to analyze information behavior in the process of product development based on a fusion model which integrates the assessments of users’ needs, the environment, and available technology. These models and methods are subsequently applied to the development of a new packaging material. The results of this case study allow us to identify effective information for the design of a management system for product development to reduce the impact of products on the environment.

As network has high speed and wide communication capability, users demand diverse and new software to satisfy their needs. To meet users needs, the softwares for multimedia or groupware or distributed virtual environments can communicate the widely distributed information fast and accurately. Even though the technology for this is under development, it is deficient to support the reliable computer communication. Distributed Object System aims, as the new paradigm of distributed system software development to overcome this problem, to obtain in distributed environment the easiness of development and management, expandability, reusability which object oriented technologies support by solving the complexity of communication processing through the object oriented methods. This paper aims to introduce distributed object system, its technological properties and the current status and trend of technology development related to its standardization. Additionally, with explaining the Replicated Shared Object System(RSOS) which is developed in our country as one of the distributed object systems, its future prospects and technical issues are discussed.

With the rapid development of AI technology, ChatGPT and other AI content creation tools are becoming common, and users are becoming curious and adopting them. These tools, unlike search engines, generate results based on user prompts, which puts them at risk of inaccuracy or plagiarism. This allows unethical users to create inappropriate content and poses greater educational and corporate data security concerns. AI content detection is needed and AI-generated text needs to be identified to address misinformation and trust issues. Along with the positive use of AI tools, monitoring and regulation of their ethical use is essential. When detecting content created by AI with an AI content detection tool, it can be used efficiently by using the appropriate tool depending on the usage environment and purpose. In this paper, we collect data on AI content detection tools and compare and analyze the functions and characteristics of AI content detection tools to help meet these needs.

In the era of social media, marketers have struggled to understand and serve participants' diverse and multifaceted needs in a novel form of online brand community in the social-networking sites such as Facebook. Thus, this study identifies different groups of participants affiliated with Facebook brand pages based on their needs for brand connection. The need-based segments are validated by comparing results across foodservice and consumer goods. Results of cluster analysis reveal three distinct segments (i.e., residents, lurkers, and peepers) based on participants' functional, experiential, and incentive needs. Results of multivariate analysis of variance illustrate significant differences in relational tendencies for a brand of interest among these three groups. The three groups are profiled based on participants' engagement level. Findings of this study are expected to help marketers better understand the needs of diverse participants in their SNS-embedded brand community so they can develop tailored communication strategies for targeted groups.

The users' needs are expanded because of developing of educational robot market. However, the technology development doesn't fully adopt customer needs. In general, the most products are followed not user needs but technology trajectory. In this paper, we try to define the educational robot functions from analyzing usage propensity and customer needs with Kano model. According to results, there are key functions based on customer needs such as remote student control, Internet search, educational contents search and study planner. If the four key functions are offered, user's positive attitude to robot will be increased.

The importance of evaluation in design activity has been increased. Specially, it is necessary to take into consideration of user's needs as design criteria nowadays. Through these evaluations, the comprehensive quality of architectural design could be substantially improved and play the part of recycling at least in cases of theme similar structures. By a viewpoint of library patrons, there have increased many problems In library environment because more library patrons use the reference room for their study since reform of university education was carried out In 1981. Therefore, after post occupancy evaluation and spatial-planning matters of architecture are taken into consideration in this study, the problems of the plan-composition on the existing structure is pointed out and introduced the concept of post occupancy evaluation to grope the solution. With the question about users's needs and the state of use in the K-University Library, this study aims to investigate the actual use circumstance of space and maintenance of facilities as well as giving the most relevant alternatives instead of already existing one. This also intends to propose the essential date to meet the users' sociopsychological needs and environment innovation when planning the university library.

This paper reports on the results of a questionnaire survey on actual conditions of sleep environment, sleep problems and sleep patterns in bedroom of house. The objectives of survey are: 1) classifying Korean people into several groups by sleep environment condition, sleep problem and life pattern, 2) describing the characteristics of user groups, and 3) searching needs of support for each user group. Despite of several studies about sleep condition that researched in advance, they weren't considered about user's respective characters. So it seems necessary for more studies about users' needs, and segment users to grasp their each detail needs. Therefore, this study conducted questionnaire survey gathering relevant information to classify user groups and to investigate the current bedroom condition. In the result, 702 respondents were divided into six clusters by extracted eight factors. Four clusters of them had some problems for sleep, so it could be seen that they need environmental solution for their good sleep. As the further objective, it will be connected to develop the good sleep system.

In 2010 there are 759 public libraries in Korea, and they have been increased constantly for the recent four to five years. In order to make them as cultural spaces in local communities, Korean government is now planning to increase the number of public libraries up to 900 and to build small to medium-sized multiple purpose libraries rather than large and single purpose ones. Especially in the case of public libraries in metropolitan cities, which are main libraries in those areas, they should be designed to play major functions of cultural experience, exhibition, and life-long education as well as to meet the basic needs of providing books for public reading and of building and developing branch libraries based on local characteristics. Above all, in order to make a public library as a center of local culture, a space planning focused on increasing utilization and satisfaction of the residents is required. It is essential to conduct a survey to understand the needs of the residential users and reflect their opinions. In this regard, our research process was constructed as follows. First, precedent studies on a certain densely populated area were reviewed. Second, a survey was conducted in Ulsan city to figure out the needs and the satisfaction level of the actual users. The purpose of this study is to propose a better space planning approach for public libraries in metropolitan cities based on the analysis.

In this study, we developed the service that can efficiently making friends among college students in metaverse world. Metaverse technology has recently emerged as an important topic across the industry.' The development of virtual and augmented reality technologies, which have emerged as a new paradigm to drive the next generation of the Internet, is bringing us closer to the metaverse world. Metaverse is spreading around the gaming, entertainment, music, and content industries[1]. In particular, as non-face-to-face transitions have accelerated since the COVID-19 outbreak, lifestyles and industrial sites are rapidly changing beyond untacting to metaverseization, a three-dimensional virtual space. After discovering the needs of users through surveys and interviews, the research method added functions to the service that matched those needs. Users were pleased that they could make friends who matched their preferences and tastes, play like a game in a virtual world called metaverse, and customize their avatars to their liking. It was also very fresh to customize the goods so that they could be gifted and kept by themselves.

This study proposed to seek the future development direction of policy information service in Korea by identifying users' needs for policy information and analyzing policy information users' behavior. For this purpose, we analyzed policy information users' needs and behavior through survey and interview methods, and the results are as follows. First, the most common purpose of policy information use was figuring out policy trends, and the Internet was the most common search method used in investigating policy information. Second, electronic resources showed a high rate of use, but the domestic material utilization ratio was higher, and the U.S. resources usage of overseas data was the highest. Third, users most often used materials produced within the last 2-5 years, and Web DB (journals, academic articles, etc.) and reports were the most used material types. Fourth, in the survey of opinion about methods for improving policy information utilization efficiency, cooperation between government agencies' libraries, cooperation between agencies producing the policy information resources, and the overall national collection of policy information were rated the highest.
