Design and Implementation of Customer Personalized System Using Web Log and Purchase Database

  • In this paper, we propose a customer personalized system that presents the web pages to users which are customized to their individuality. It analyzes the action of users who visit the shopping mall, and preferentially supplies the necessary information to them. When they actually buy some items, it forecasts the user's access pattern to web site and their following purchasable items and improves their web page on the bases of their individuality. It reasons the relation among the web documents and among the items by using the log data of web server and the purchase information of DB. For reasoning, it employs Apriori algorithm, which is a method that searches the association rule. It reasons the web pages by considering the user's access pattern and time by using the web log and reasons the user's purchase pattern by using the purchase information of DB. On the basis of the relation among them, it appends the related web pages to link of user's web pages and displays the inferred goods on user's web pages.

The Mediating Roles of Trust and System Quality in Achieving System Success: A System Integrator Perspective

  • A system Integrator (SI) makes a consortium with multiple providers of hardware and software solutions to sell an information system. The success of information systems (IS) mainly depends on establishing a trustful relationship between SI supplier and client, and delivering high-quality system. However, the determinants of trust and system quality have been investigated mostly from the perspective of s ystem buyers rather than system sellers. This study examines the influence of key variables that SI can handle to improve trust and system quality which finally leads to user satisfaction toward SI. This study adopts resource complementarity, user participation and information sharing as the key variable then builds a research model to explain their relationships to user satisfaction. Respondents are recruited from 251 firms that have built any information system in recent two years in South Korea. Results of partial least square (PLS) modeling analysis show that both resource complementarity and information sharing have positive relationships with trust. Also the relationships between trust, system quality and user satisfaction toward S.I are supported. In addition, the mediating roles of trust and system quality are identified. We discussed some of the key managerial and theoretical implications of the paper and suggested further research directions.

The Effects of User Experience Factors on Satisfaction and Repurchase Intention at Online Food Market

  • Purpose: This study aims to empirically analyze the effects of user experience on satisfaction and repurchase in the online food market and to present implications. Online food markets have rapidly dominated the grocery market since their appearance, and online food purchases by middle and seniors as well as young people are increasing rapidly. Research design, data, and methodology: The survey was conducted on 268 consumers with experience in using online food markets, and the results of the survey were analyzed using SPSS statistical program to verify reliability and feasibility, and using structural equation modelling (SEM) using AMOS. This study positively analyzed the impact of satisfaction and repurchase intent by setting system quality, product quality, brand characteristics, and economics as user experience factors in online food markets. Results: The results showed that among online food market user experience factors, the quality of the product and brand characteristics have a significant impact on satisfaction. This means that consumers decide to purchase food through online food markets by considering high-quality products and brand value together. Conclusions: This study has broadened the horizon of recent research on online food market which has been rapidly increasing in the market triggered by Covid19, providing significant implications.

Retail Distribution Strategies for Train Tickets: The Extended UTAUT Model

  • Purpose: As mobile devices are commonly used and contact-free services are widespread due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the recent distribution environment, this study suggests retail strategies for consumers using high-speed railways. To this end, we analyzed how consumer perception on technologies necessary for use of mobile apps is related to the attitude that drives consumers to continue using the app services. Research design, data and methodology: Based on the extended unified theory of technology acceptance and use of technology model by Venkatesh, Morris, Davis and Davis (2003), we added variables proposed by existing theories that studied the technology acceptance model from multiple perspectives and empirically analyzed the relationship between user satisfaction and use intention with structural equation modeling. Results: As expected, factors necessary for the use of app services such as performance expectancy, social influence, price value, facilitating conditions, security, and aesthetics had positive effects on user satisfaction, whereas the effect of effort expectancy on user satisfaction was rejected. And user satisfaction was found to have a significant effect on intention to use. Conclusions: The results provide implications that strategic retail management of the above factors can motivate passengers to continuously use high-speed railways.

Social Media Performance: From the Perspective of Social Media Apathetic Behavior

  • Purpose - Social media platforms have presented individuals with an opportunity to create and maintain their social relationship through the use of social media services. However, such social relationship has a negative influence on users' interest in social media. Design/methodology - Using structural equation modeling, this study seeks to examines the effects of different social media conflicts (individual and social conflicts) on users' psychological internal state, especially user apathetic behavior Findings - The findings confirm that, among social media conflicts, social-related conflict, especially social interaction overload has a negative effect on cognitive resonance, while individual conflict has the highest effect on cognitive dissonance. Also, cognitive dissonance has a much greater effect than cognitive resonance on user resistance, this means that users' negative perception of social media has a greater influence on their resistance. Lastly, user's resistance was found to have a positive influence on user's apathetic behavior. Originality/value - In other to capture social media Apathetic behavior, this study focus on social media conflict perspective, which includes social-related conflict and individual conflict, which are found to influence users' internal states towards social media and further induce social media behavior. This study is unique because it is among the first to explore social media apathetic behavior by focusing on the influence of both external social media conflict and internal state. Also, this study proposed that social related conflict has a higher negative influence on WeChat user than individual related conflict.

가상인간의 의인화에 따른 이용자 호감도에 관한 연구: 사회비교 경험과 자기향상욕구를 중심으로 (A Study on User Liking Based on Anthropomorphism of Virtual Humans:Focusing on Social Comparison Experience and Self-Improvement Motivation)

  • Purpose The study examines the impact of the level of anthropomorphism (both in appearance and behavior) of virtual humans on user liking. It investigates whether this relationship is mediated by social comparison experiences, with the moderated mediation effect of users' desire for self-improvement. Design/methodology/approach A between-groups experimental design was employed to examine the impact of different levels of appearance(low/mid/high) and behavior(low/high) anthropomorphism on user liking of virtual humans. The experiment was conducted in an online environment, and participants were randomly exposed to one of six stimuli, which were Instagram-like posts. Findings The results indicate that as virtual humans become more anthropomorphic, they have a positive impact on user liking. However, once the level of anthropomorphism in appearance reaches a certain point (mid vs high), there is no significant difference in user liking. Users who perceive virtual humans as highly anthropomorphic tend to engage in more social comparison experiences, which positively affects their liking for these virtual humans. Conversely, individuals with a high desire for self-improvement found that the positive effect of appearance anthropomorphism on liking through social comparison experiences was reduced. The study extends the application of social comparison theory by examining its impact on influencer marketing with virtual beings. It provides valuable insights for the formulation of influencer marketing strategies using virtual humans.

유출트래픽 분석기반의 침입탐지시스템 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of an Intrusion Detection System based on Outflow Traffic Analysis)

  • 현재 일반화되어 있는 침입탐지 시스템의 경우 중요한 서버의 보안에 유용한 호스트기반 IDS는 합법적인 사용자의 불법행위를 모니터링 가능하고 운영체계와 밀접히 결합하여 보다 정교한 모니터링, 네트워크 환경과 상관없이 사용가능 하다는 장점이 있지만 비용의 증가와 침입탐지를 위한 처리에 해당 시스템 자원소모, 네트워크 기반의 공격에 취약하며 IDS오류 시 해당 호스트의 기능이 마비될 수 있다. 네트워크기반 IDS는 네트워크 엑세스 지점에만 설치하여 비용점감 및 네트워크 자원에 대한 오버 헤드감소, 공격에 노출될 가능성이 낮으며 네트워크 환경에 관계없이 사용가능하지만 대용량의 트래픽 처리에 어려움과 제한된 탐지능력, 알려지지 않은 악성코드나 프로그램에 대처능력이 떨어지는 한계를 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 보안 솔루션들 중에서 개인용 방화벽을 활용하는 데스크톱 보안과 함께 적용하여 개인용 컴퓨터의 보안능력을 향상시키는 유출 트래픽 분석기반 침입탐지시스템의 설계 및 구현을 목적으로 한다. 침입이 발생하고 새로운 패턴의 악성 프로그램이 정보의 유출을 시도하는 행위를 탐지하여 차단함으로써 컴퓨터나 네트워크의 심각한 손실을 감소시킬 수 있다.

XML/RDF와 SMIL에 기반한 멀티미디어 교육 컨텐츠 검색 (Multimedia Learning Contents Retrieval Based on XML/RDF and SMIL)

  • 대량의 멀티미디어 교육 컨텐츠의 재사용과 그 효과적인 관리를 위해서는 원하는 컨텐츠를 빠르고 정확하게 검색하는 방법을 제공할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 대량의 멀티미디어 교육 컨텐츠에 대한 새로운 검색 방법을 제안한다. 교육 컨텐츠의 호환성을 확보하기 위해, XML을 기반으로 한 멀티미디어 동기화 표준언어인 SMIL을 이용하여 교육 컨텐츠에 사용되는 멀티미디어 요소의 용합과 동기화를 표준화된 방법으로 구현하였다. 또한 SMIL 교육 컨텐츠에 교육용 메타데이터인 IEEE LOM을 XML 기반의 RDF 형태로 부여하였다. 본 논문에서는 2단계의 검색 방법을 통해 보다 정확한 검색 기법을 제시한다. 1단계에서는 메타데이터를 이용한 검색으로서 원하는 컨텐츠를 검색하고, 2단계에서는 1단계에서 찾은 컨텐츠에 대해 SMIL의 시간 정보를 이용하여 컨텐츠의 세부적인 내용을 검색하도록 설계하였다. 또한 사용자가 각각의 검색 결과들을 이용하여 새로운 교육 컨텐츠로 재구성하고, 이를 학습에 이용하도록 함으로써 사용자 주도적인 학습이 가능하도록 하였다.

  • 최근 무선인터넷 단말기가 급속하게 발전함에 따라 이동 환경에서의 실시간 위치 정보를 이용한 다양한 위치기반 정보서비스의 필요가 점차 증가하고 있다. 그러나 기존의 정보서비스들은 서비스 제공방법이 정보 제공자에 의존적이어서 사용자 개개인의 서로 다른 성향에 따른 맞춤 정보제공이 많이 부족하다. 이에 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 위치기반 정보서비스를 활용한사용자 선호에 의한 맞춤식 POI(Point Of Interest) 정보를 용이하게 제공할 수 있는 서비스 기술이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 위치기반 정보서비스를 활용하여 사용자의 성향에 따라 POI 정보를 분석하고 제공할 수 있는 정보 서비스 모델을 제안한다. 제안된 모델에서는 위치기반 정보서비스와 개개인의 성향 분석에 따른 POI 정보를 제공함으로써 사용자에게 보다 가치 있는 정보를 능동적으로 제공할 수 있다.

윈도우 유저 레벨 로봇 컴포넌트에 실시간성 지원 방법 (A Method to Support Real-time for User-level Robot Components on Windows)

  • 미래 시장을 선도할 핵심 분야로 지능형 서비스 로봇을 꼽을 수 있으며, 지능형 서비스 로봇은 인간과 공존하면서 육체적, 정신적, 감성적으로 인간을 보조하는 로봇이다. 지능형 서비스 로봇은 인간과 밀접한 관계를 맺으며 동작하기 때문에 지능형 서비스 로봇이 제공하는 핵심 서비스의 안정적인 수행은 로봇 사용자의 안전을 보장하기 위한 필수적인 고려사항이다. 이러한 안전성을 위해서는 정해진 시간마다 주기적으로 핵심 서비스를 수행시키는 실시간성이 필수 불가결한 요소이다. 현재 많은 로봇 컴포넌트들이 개발의 편의성을 위해 범용 운영체제인 윈도우를 사용하지만, 윈도우는 실시간성을 지원하지 않는 문제점이 있으며 실시간성 제공을 위해 RTX나 INtime과 같은 고가의 써드파티를 별도로 설치하여 사용해야 한다. 또한 로봇 컴포넌트는 유저 레벨에서 동작하기 때문에 유저영역에서 실시간성을 제공할 수 있는 방법에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 범용 운영체제 윈도우의 커널 레벨에서 실시간성을 제공하는 RTiK을 이용하여 유저 레벨에서 동작하는 함수를 주기적으로 동작시키는 방법을 설계 및 구현하였다.
