상황인지 기반 사용자 맞춤 자원 공유 시스템 (A Situation-Aware based Personalized Resource Sharing System)

  • 유비쿼터스 시대에는 다양하고 수많은 컴퓨팅 자원들이 곳곳에 존재한다. 이런 유비쿼터스 환경에서 분산되어져 있는 자원들을 공유하는 연구가 최근 많이 진행되어져 왔다. 하지만 이런 연구들은 사용자의 상황과 취향을 고려하지 않은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 사용자의 상황을 고려한 사용자 맞춤 자원 공유 시스템을 제안한다. 제안한 시스템은 사용자의 스케줄 정보와 시간, 위치 정보와 같은 컨텍스트 정보를 이용하여 사용자의 상황을 인지하며 자원에 대한 사용자 선호도를 가중치 기반으로 적용하여 사용자 맞춤형 자원을 추천해준다. 본 논문에서는 회의 시나리오를 통해 제안한 상황인지 기반 사용자 맞춤 자원 공유 시스템을 검증한다.

로봇 캐릭터와의 상호작용에서 사용자의 시선 배분 분석 (Analysis of User's Eye Gaze Distribution while Interacting with a Robotic Character)

  • In this paper, we develop a virtual experimental environment to investigate users' eye gaze in human-robot social interaction, and verify it's potential for further studies. The system consists of a 3D robot character capable of hosting simple interactions with a user, and a gaze processing module recording which body part of the robot character, such as eyes, mouth or arms, the user is looking at, regardless of whether the robot is stationary or moving. To verify that the results acquired on this virtual environment are aligned with those of physically existing robots, we performed robot-guided quiz sessions with 120 participants and compared the participants' gaze patterns with those in previous works. The results included the followings. First, when interacting with the robot character, the user's gaze pattern showed similar statistics as the conversations between humans. Second, an animated mouth of the robot character received longer attention compared to the stationary one. Third, nonverbal interactions such as leakage cues were also effective in the interaction with the robot character, and the correct answer ratios of the cued groups were higher. Finally, gender differences in the users' gaze were observed, especially in the frequency of the mutual gaze.

사용행동에 기반을 둔 디지털 제품의 애착형성과정 연구 (A Study on the Attachment Building Process of Digital Products based on the User's Behavior)

  • 본 연구는 물리적 제품과는 다른 디지털 제품의 애착과정을 연구하기 위한 새로운 변수로 '필수불가결성'과 '대체불가능성'을 제시한다. 이를 정량적으로 분석하기 위해 애착형성에 필수적인 상호작용성과 시간적 가치를 변수에 추가하여 통합모형을 구성하여 상이한 제품-사용자간 상호작용을 통해 어떻게 애착을 형성해갈 수 있는가를 탐색적으로 살펴보고자 한다. 실증분석을 위해 197명의 응답자의 자료를 분석한 결과 시스템 중심의 상호작용은 사용기간에 영향을 미치지 않은 반면, 사용자 중심의 상호작용은 사용기간에 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 사용기간이 필수불가결성과 대체불가능성에 미치는 영향이 증명되었으며, 대체불가능성보다는 필수불가결성에 미치는 영향이 컸다.

가상현실 기반 사용자 참여형 타공패널 파사드 설계 방법론 (User-Participated Design Method for Perforated Metal Facades using Virtual Reality)

  • Perforated metal sheets are used as panels of facades for controlling environmental factors while ensuring user's visibility. Despite their functional potentials, only a specific direction of facades or an orientation of a building was considered in the relevant studies. This study proposed a design methodology for the perforated panel facades that reflects the location on the facades and the user's requirements. The optimization of quantitative and qualitative performance is achieved through communication between designers and users in a VR system. In optimizing quantitative performances, designers use machine learning techniques such as clustering and genetic algorithm to allocate optimal panels on the facades. In optimizing qualitative performances, through the VR system, users intervene in evaluating performances whose preferences are depending on them. The experiment using the office project showed that designers were able to make decisions based on clustering using GMM to optimize multiple quantitative performances. The gap between the target and final performance could be narrowed by limiting the types of perforated panels considering mass customization. In assessing visibility as a qualitative performance, users were able to participate in the design process using the VR system.

Strategy for Task Offloading of Multi-user and Multi-server Based on Cost Optimization in Mobile Edge Computing Environment

  • With the development of mobile edge computing, how to utilize the computing power of edge computing to effectively and efficiently offload data and to compute offloading is of great research value. This paper studies the computation offloading problem of multi-user and multi-server in mobile edge computing. Firstly, in order to minimize system energy consumption, the problem is modeled by considering the joint optimization of the offloading strategy and the wireless and computing resource allocation in a multi-user and multi-server scenario. Additionally, this paper explores the computation offloading scheme to optimize the overall cost. As the centralized optimization method is an NP problem, the game method is used to achieve effective computation offloading in a distributed manner. The decision problem of distributed computation offloading between the mobile equipment is modeled as a multi-user computation offloading game. There is a Nash equilibrium in this game, and it can be achieved by a limited number of iterations. Then, we propose a distributed computation offloading algorithm, which first calculates offloading weights, and then distributedly iterates by the time slot to update the computation offloading decision. Finally, the algorithm is verified by simulation experiments. Simulation results show that our proposed algorithm can achieve the balance by a limited number of iterations. At the same time, the algorithm outperforms several other advanced computation offloading algorithms in terms of the number of users and overall overheads for beneficial decision-making.

블록체인 기반의 개인정보 관리를 위한 사용자 중심의 접근제어 서비스 (User-Centric Access Control Service for Blockchain-Based Private Information Management)

  • 최근에 분산ID관리처럼 개인정보를 주체적으로 관리하는 기술이 주목받고 있지만, 기존에 제시된 블록체인 기반의 접근제어 연구들은 사용자에게 충분한 수준의 개인정보 접근제어 방안을 제공하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문은 퍼미션 블록체인 기술과 표준화된 프라이버시 보호 기술을 결합한 방안을 제안한다. 사용자의 접근제어 개입을 위해 프라이버시 제어 표준인 UMA2를 준용하는 토큰 기반의 사용자 접근제어 서비스를 블록체인 분산어플리케이션에 적용하였다. 블록체인과 UMA2를 연동함으로써 기존 블록체인이 제공하지 못했던 사용자 중심의 접근제어 기능을 제공한다. 또한 UMA2의 단점인 엔터티의 프라이버시 문제와 보안성, 가용성 이슈를 해결하였다.

EdgeCPS를 활용한 사용자 인증 및 임무 자동화를 통한 드론 배송 시스템 개선 (Improved Drone Delivery System Through User Authentication and Mission Automation Using EdgeCPS)

  • Currently, various companies are actively participating in research and development of drone delivery services. Existing studies do not comprehensively provide integrated functions for future drone delivery services such as mission automation, customer verification, and overcoming performance limitations, which can lead to high manpower demand, reduced user service trust, and potentially overloading low-end devices. Therefore, this study proposes a drone mission automation system (DMAS) using EdgeCPS technology to provide the three aforementioned functions in an integrated manner. Real-world experiments were conducted to evaluate the proposed system, demonstrating that the DMAS components operate according to the specified roles in the delivery scenario. In addition, the system achieved user verification with a similarity of more than 90% in the process of receiving the product, and verified a faster inference speed and a lower resource share than the existing method.

Robust Sentiment Classification of Metaverse Services Using a Pre-trained Language Model with Soft Voting

  • Metaverse services generate text data, data of ubiquitous computing, in real-time to analyze user emotions. Analysis of user emotions is an important task in metaverse services. This study aims to classify user sentiments using deep learning and pre-trained language models based on the transformer structure. Previous studies collected data from a single platform, whereas the current study incorporated the review data as "Metaverse" keyword from the YouTube and Google Play Store platforms for general utilization. As a result, the Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers (BERT) and Robustly optimized BERT approach (RoBERTa) models using the soft voting mechanism achieved a highest accuracy of 88.57%. In addition, the area under the curve (AUC) score of the ensemble model comprising RoBERTa, BERT, and A Lite BERT (ALBERT) was 0.9458. The results demonstrate that the ensemble combined with the RoBERTa model exhibits good performance. Therefore, the RoBERTa model can be applied on platforms that provide metaverse services. The findings contribute to the advancement of natural language processing techniques in metaverse services, which are increasingly important in digital platforms and virtual environments. Overall, this study provides empirical evidence that sentiment analysis using deep learning and pre-trained language models is a promising approach to improving user experiences in metaverse services.

중국 전자상거래 플랫폼에서 챗봇의 특성이 고객만족도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Chatbot Characteristics on Customer Satisfaction in China's e-commerce Platform)

  • With the development of the 4th industrial revolution, companies are trying to introduce new AI technologies and improve their performance. In particular, chatbot technology has developed and can not only communicate smoothly with humans, but also perform many complex tasks, so it has high market potential. However, there is still little research on chatbots in the field of e-commerce. Accordingly, this study aims to suggest ways to improve corporate performance through chatbot user satisfaction analysis. With the rapid development of China's e-commerce platform, In this study, through previous studies, the characteristics of chatbots were classified into accessibility, accuracy, empathy, reliability, and intimacy as factors influencing perceived usefulness, perceived ease, and perceived enjoyment of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Five were selected and used as independent variables, and a model that affects customer satisfaction was set up. This paper sets user satisfaction as an important indicator of chatbot service and analyzes the path that affects user satisfaction, thereby improving chatbot service technology. It is important in that it provides a way to improve the smart chatbot service by understanding the degree of user acceptance in depth.

간편결제 서비스 사용자의 사용만족과 지속사용의도에 관한 연구 - ECM과 UTAUT을 중심으로 (A Study on User Satisfaction and Continuance Use Intention of Mobile Easy Payment Service User)

  • As the easy payment service is popularized and the competition in the service market is fierce, research on factors affecting users' continuous use of the easy payment service is becoming increasingly important. However, in the existing studies, the discussion of the continuous intention to use the consumer's simple payment service has not been sufficiently conducted. Existing research remains on the way of listing technology and consumer characteristics. To bridge this research gap, this study aims to integrate and modify ECM and UTAUT to consider factors influencing the continuous use of easy payment services. The user's expectations and the confirmation were considered as important factors to decide. For empirical analysis, a survey was conducted for 236 users who had experience with domestic easy payment service. As a result, it was verified that confirmation, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and habit in regard to easy payment services are important for continuous use intention. Through this study, it is expected that the consumer's technology acceptance mechanism on the continuous use of simple payment will be grasped in more detail to develop academic discussions in the field. Implications from the results as well as limitations of the study are presented.
