An exploration for an emotional intelligence paradigm has been delineated. Emotional intelligence is investigated in terms of composing machine as a modern abstract art. The system consists of interface, plan and performance modules. Design concepts of the system are modular, open, and user friendly to ensure the overall performance. The exploration of art in the view of intelligence, information and structure will restore the balanced sense of the art and the science seek the happiness of life. The investigations of emotional intelligence will establish the foundations of intelligence, information and control technologies.

User's demand, as a maintenance for durability of construction and a comfortable life, and an incentive systems for new waterproofing system incite waterproofing company to evolve new waterproofing system that is upgraded waterproofing quality by getting advantages for the existing waterproofing systems. There are seven new waterproofing systems for building roof to be authorized from Ministry of construction & transportation. Those are multi-layers waterproofing system, and five of those are the insulation type. A trend of new waterproofing systems for building roof is multi-layers waterproofing system insulated.

The result of this study about application methods of regional heritage are important things. 1. Rural community going ahead Rural Activation Policies applied in regional heritage, have principal experience programs based on visiter's demands. 2. The programs applied regional heritage are most useful application methods of traditional-cultural experience, and following, folk-life and nature environment experience. 3. Insufficient of scheme for applying regional heritage, and specific characters and identity of rural community, is coming out the inadequate plan of community design with comparing other neighborhoods.

The continuous growth in the use of the World Wide Web is creating the data with very large scale and different types. Analyzing such data can help to determine the life time value of users, evaluate the effectiveness of web sites, and design marketing strategies and services. In this paper, we propose some analysis methods for web data and present an example of a prototypical web data analysis.

U_Life의 의료 기술은 의료 영상 정보 전송 서비스를 언제 어디서나 가능하게 해준다. 더 나아가 의사의 다양한 상황인식을 인지, 수집하고 변화된 상황에 적합한 최적의 영상 정보를 의사에게 전송해주는 지능적인 서비스가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 의사의 변화된 상황에 적합한 서비스를 제공하고자 의료영상 정보 전송 시스템에 상황인식 서비스를 접목시킨 의사 중심의 의료 영상 정보 전송 미들웨어(Doctor Centered PACS Middleware) 시스템을 제안하고자 한다.

Electro-Mechanical Actuator installed on the aircraft plays a key role in an aircraft's flight control through flight control computer. Reliable prediction of the actuator is important for the aircraft. To estimate the lifetime of a product, it is necessary to test full target life. However, it is very difficult to perform it due to the long life time of actuator but short period of development time with increasing cost. Therefore, accelerated life test has been used to reduce the test time for various reasons such as reducing product's development cycle and cost. In this paper, to predict the lifetime of the actuator, we analyzed the flight profile of aircraft and adapted the method of accelerated life test in order to accelerate failure modes that might occur under user conditions. We also set up an endurance test equipment for validating the demanded lifetime of an actuator and performed accelerated life test.

The purpose of this study is to analysis the type of cited materials, dependence ratio of foreign information of domestic researchers, and to predicts half-life of life science for the collection development of libraries and user friendly information services. The journal articles was extracted from five subjects-medical science, pharmacy, food science, agricultural science, microbiology. In result, it was found that it citing the scholarly journal most plentifully, and dependence ratio of foreign information of domestic researchers was high most the microbiology. And then, half-life of life science was found 8.98 in agricultural science, and 7.11 in food science, and 6.96 in pharmacy, and so on.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the safety needs and life satisfaction of users of security system. The contents of the questionnaire consisted of "safety need, use satisfaction, life satisfaction". As a result of the analysis, Chronbach's alpha coefficient was calculated as 0.897 for safety needs, 0.888 for use satisfaction, and 0.887 for life satisfaction. The items were found to have internal consistency. In the validation of discriminant validity, both AVE and CR values were found to be 0.6 or more than the reference value of 0.8. The intuitiveness of the variables used in this study was found to be largely secured. As the hypothesis test result, the standardization factor was calculated as 0.993 for 'safety needs ⇨ use satisfaction' and 0.453 for 'use satisfaction ⇨ life satisfaction', and both hypotheses were positive. As a result of the verification, it was analyzed that the higher the user's safety needs, the higher the use satisfaction, and the higher the use satisfaction, the higher the life satisfaction.

In this paper, a new method for the bridge maintenance is proposed to overcome the limit of the existing methods and to implement the preventive bridge maintenance system. The proposed method can establish the lifetime optimum maintenance strategy of the deteriorating bridges considering the life-cycle performance as well as the life-cycle cost. The lifetime performance of the deteriorating bridges is evaluated by the safety index based on the structural reliability and the condition index detailing the condition state. The life-cycle cost is estimated by considering not only the direct maintenance cost but also the user and failure cost. The genetic algorithm is applied to generate a set of maintenance scenarios which is the multi-objective combinatorial optimization problem related to the life-cycle cost and performance. The study examined the proposed method by establishing a maintenance strategy for the existing bridge and its advantages. The result shows that the proposed method can be effectively applied to deciding the bridge maintenance strategy.
