가상밴드 K/DA에 대한 사용자 제작 콘텐츠(UCC) 특성 (The Characteristics of User Created Content(UCC) for Virtual Band K/DA)

  • In November 2018, virtual pop band K/DA, with the use of holograms and actual K-pop girl group members, performed its debut album titled "POP/STARS" at the opening ceremony of the League of Legends S8 final, hosted by Riot Games. The fan culture that exists for real singers adapts itself to virtual bands, and K/DA, consisting of virtual characters, encouraging the production of user created content (UCC). However, this form of UCC is different from the most common one, meaning that this type of band generates another way of consuming content. Therefore, this study examines how K/DA's digital characters are transformed and reproduced by UCC and how the original producers' content differs from them. Firstly, the development of this study considers the open characteristics of UCC, such as user type, created motivation, created process, content type and sharing method. In the second part, the virtual idol Hatsune Miku and virtual band Pentakill will be analysed to understand UCC. Thirdly, K/DA will be analyzed as a case study based on three factors: created motivation, content type and sharing method. In this manner, this study aims to explain how UCC for virtual bands reproduce and consume original content and expand their commercial value.

Multiple-Phase Energy Detection and Effective Capacity Based Resource Allocation Against Primary User Emulation Attacks in Cognitive Radio Networks

  • Cognitive radio (CR) is regarded as an effective approach to avoid the inefficient use of spectrum. However, CRNs have more special security problems compared with the traditional wireless communication systems due to its open and dynamic characteristics. Primary user emulation attack (PUEA) is a common method which can hinder secondary users (SUs) from accessing the spectrum by transmitting signals who has the similar characteristics of the primary users' (PUs) signals, and then the SUs' quality of service (QoS) cannot be guaranteed. To handle this issue, we first design a multiple-phase energy detection scheme based on the cooperation of multiple SUs to detect the PUEA more precisely. Second, a joint SUs scheduling and power allocation scheme is proposed to maximize the weighted effective capacity of multiple SUs with a constraint of the average interference to the PU. The simulation results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the effective capacity of the secondary users compared with the traditional overlay scheme which cannot be aware of the existence of PUEA. Also the good delay QoS guarantee for the secondary users is provided.

韓·美간 농촌부엌공간에 관한 생활문화의 영향과 거주자 요구의 비교 (The Comparison between the American Life Culture and User's Needs and Korean's affecting on the Rural Kitchen Space)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the design identity of the Korean kitchen space through out comparing life culture and user's needs of the rural kitchen space between Koreans and Americans. This research was done by the literature review and the empirical data collected through the questionnaire by mail in the state of Missouri, USA and the field survey in the province of Chonbuk, Korea. The American rural residents were 104 and the Korean were 100. The results were as follows. 1) The characteristics of the Korean rural food life were the making Kimchi, soy sauce and bean paste etc. and the preparing food for family events such as birthdays and holidays. They had need to be planned the second kitchen. 2) The characteristics were planned the Korean rural main kitchen to be equipped with another refrigerator for Kimchi, to be wider floor area and to be located near the living and the dining room. 3) The kitchen space also was not reflected on the aged's desire, but this factor will be important to be planned.

Organizational Factors Influencing Inclination to Use a B2B Website by a Buyer-Supplier Dyad: The Indian Context

  • Business-to-Business electronic commerce websites are a common form of inter-organizational systems that span organizational boundaries and enables organizations to exchange information in a seamless fashion. To reap the desired benefits it is important that the website be used in the intended manner. The level and extent of use of a business-to-business website depends partly on the inclination to use the website by the users in the primary organization and in the user organizations independently and the combined inclination of the organizations together. This combined inclination is referred to as the System Inclination, with dominance playing a key role. Each organization has certain characteristics of its own and may differ significantly in their inclination to use. It is important to analyze the factors that determine this inclination to use, so that organizations can adopt appropriate management mechanisms to control it. This paper proposes a framework to explain the organizational factors and their influence on the inclination to use a website, based on study of four Indian buyer-supplier dyads. Inclination to use is found to be influenced by factors like top management support, website characteristics, adequate support mechanisms, user group orientation towards electronic commerce and basic IT drive among the employees, at both the primary and user organizations.

계층분석적 의사결정기법을 이용한 데이터베이스 시스템 품질 특성의 선정 방법 (A Selection Method of Database System Quality Characteristics Using the Analytic Hierarchy Process)

  • 데이터베이스 시스템의 사용자 만족과 품질 관리를 위해서는 사용자 요구사항 및 품질 특성의 정확한 이해와 함께 적절한 품질 측정과 평가가 필수적이다. ISO 25000 시리즈를 기반으로 1차 연구에서 도출된 데이터베이스 시스템 품질 평가 모델에서는 5가지 주품질특성과 이에 따른 21가지 부품질특성, 48개의 내부품질특성의 3단계 계층구조를 제시하였다. 주품질특성, 부품질특성, 내부품질에 대한 우선순위(상대적 가중치) 부여 방법에 대한 연구는 일부 있으나 품질 모형을 데이터베이스 시스템 산업현장에서 직접 사용하는 것은 쉽지 않다. 또한 품질평가를 위한 시간과 비용을 고려할 때 48개 내부품질특성을 모두 평가한다는 것은 현실적으로 거의 불가능하며 데이터베이스 시스템에서 요구되는 무결성 수준에 따라 품질평가의 수준도 다르다. 본 연구에서는 다목표의사결정기법의 하나인 AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process)기법을 이용하여 데이터베이스 시스템 품질특성을 가중치에 따라 선정하는 방법을 제시하고 이를 통해 품질모형의 현실적인 적용 가능성을 제공할 수 있다.

Implementation of a Fuel Cell Dynamic Simulator

  • This paper presents the development of a fuel cell dynamic simulator using a programmable DC power supply and LabVIEW graphical user interface. The developed simulator closely describes the static and dynamic characteristics of an actual proton exchange membrance fuel cell (PEMFC). The experimental results are provided to verify the operation of the simulator. The developed simulator can be used as a convenient and economic alternative to an actual fuel cell for developing and testing a fuel cell power conditioning system.

  • Virtual reality environment system is expected to be used as a new user interface tool oweing to its high immersiveness and high interactivity. To use VR interface effectively, we should identify the characteristics of the three-dimensional control tasks as if we did in two-dimensional graphic user interface environments.   • We present an intelligent forging simulator AFDEX. The intelligent forging simulator is determined by the adaptive and optimal mesh generation technique and many intelligent application-oriented special functions which minimize the user-intervention during forging simulation. Of course, the solution accuracy should be optimized in the intelligent simulation. We have developed AFDEX to meet the requirement on intelligent simulation. Its characteristics are introduced with the help of typical application examples.

  • This paper presents a micro-computer simulation package for the various vibratory systems. The Package consists of 10 programs which describe the dynamical characteristics of the vibratory system. The programs have been written in BASIC (Appoesoft) language and programmed on the 6502 CPU with 48 KRAM. This simulation package is stored in 5 $^1/_4$ inch floppy disk. The user requires no simulation expertise on the part of designer. Through a process of disk operation, the user can easily under- stand how to use this package.
