The main purpose of this paper is a study on the automatically implementing a Multi user server education system and homepage via web browser from toolkit embedded Multi user server unix server Perl programming language and c language was used to make this toolkit. With using window based web browsers, the user can make they own classroom homepage. In this paper, we propose the single user server version and Multi user server version of this toolkit. With use of ftp, the Multi user server version of this toolkit can make homepage to other unix server workstation

As the technology developed, the system is being developed as the structure that is adapted to the intelligent environment. Therefore, the existing situation information system couldn't provide satisfactory service to the user as it provides service only by the information which it received from the sensor. This paper analyzed the problems of the existing user intention awareness system and suggested user intention awareness system to provide a stable and efficient service that fits to the intention of the user compensating this. This paper has collected the behavior data based on the scenario of the sequential behavior course of the user that occurs at breakfast time in the kitchen which is the home domain environment thai is closely related to our lives. This scenario course also showed the flow that the goal intentional user intention awareness system acted that it suggested, and showed the sequential course processing the user behavior data by tables and charts.

In general, conventional user identification systems require users to carry a TAG or badge or to remember ID and password. Though biometric identification systems may relieve these problems, they are susceptible to environmental noise to some degree. We propose a natural user identification system, ubiFloor, exploiting user's walking pattern to identify the user. The system identifies a user, while tracking the user's location, with a set of simple ON/OFF switch sensors or equipments. Experimental results show that the proposed system can recognize the registered users at the rate of 92%. Future improvement in recognition rate may be achieved by combining other sensors such as camera, microphone, etc.

As information is the critical resource of business, CIOs(chief information officers)' managerial roles become more important. CIOs work out the organization and information system strategies, introduce changes into organizations, communicate with chief executive officers and users, and take the responsibilities of the information system operation. The CIOs' managerial roles make affects on the information system performance and the organizational effectiveness. They are divided into six sub-roles; leader, liaison, entrepreneur, monitor, resource allocator and spokesman. The CIOs' influences on organizations are evaluated by information systems performance. User information satisfaction is one of the most valid information system evaluation criterions. User participation and user involvement are regarded as the antecedents of user satisfaction. This study investigates the effect of CIOs' managerial roles on user satisfaction, user participation, user involvement, CIOs' six managerial roles do not equally influence users. The results of this study have implications for the CIOs' managerial roles in organizations. As CIOs effectively perform managerial roles, user satisfaction is improved.

The purpose of this paper is to design and implement the user motion pattern control system for the simulated vehicle. After analyzing the user motion patterns in the system, the patterns are used to control the moving direction of the simulated vehicle such as forward, backward, turn right, turn left etc. The patterns in the system around are sent to the simulated vehicle in real time. In order to execute the suggested user motion pattern control system, the Kinect is used for executing the system. The Kinect recognizes the specified user motion patterns and it transmits the data to the user motion pattern control system. There are nine kinds of the user motion patterns in the system for controlling the simulated vehicle. In addition to this, some sensors are used to detect the condition of the simulated vehicle. GPS is also used to estimate the current location of the simulated vehicle and to obtain the driving information.

Prior research on the user experience assumes that when users acquire good experience through the usage of a certain device or system, the user satisfaction increases, and the user satisfaction can forecast the user loyalty effectively. However, theoretical model based on the user satisfaction does not reflect users' emotional or relationship-based experience factors which are fostered through users' long-term interaction with a device or system. Therefore, this research developed the new theoretical model based on the concept of emotional attachment and integrated the model to the existing user satisfaction model to overcome theoretical and practical limitations of the user satisfaction concept. Also, this integrated model was empirically evaluated to check its validity by surveying users of 4 kinds of electronic products.

Recently, usability has become very important in voice user interface systems. In this paper, we have designed and implemented a wizard-of-oz (WOZ) usability testing tool for command-and-control voice user interfaces. We have proposed the VUIDML (Voice User Interface Design Markup Language) to design the usability test scenario of command-and-control voice interfaces in the early design stages. For highly satisfactory voice user interfaces, we have to select highly preferred voice commands and prompts. In VUIDML, we can specify possible prompt candidates. The WOZ usability testing tool can also be used to collect user-preferred voice commands and feedback from real users.

The main objective of this paper is analyzing the effects of task uncertainty on EUC characteristics and end user satisfaction. Task uncertainty were identified as an important determinant of EUC characteristics. And the moderating effect of task uncertainty on the relationship between EUC characteristics and end user satisfaction was suggested. A field study was undertaken to test the hypothesized relationships among task uncertainty, EUC characteristics, and end user satisfaction Data were collected from 138 end-user of 19 Korean business organizations. The empirical results indicated that task uncertainty was significantly related to EUC characteristics and that task uncertainty had significant effect on the relationship between EUC characteristics and end user satisfaction. Implications and future research directions are drawn for the management of EUC and for further research on EUC.

In mobile phone, complex user interface tend to cause the degradation of product usability. This problem is mainly due to the small hardware user interface of mobile phone. That is, because many functions must be operated in small hardware interface, the principle of one-to-one mapping between a function and a control is disregarded in design, often. In order to resolve this problem, users' characteristics must be considered in the user interface design of mobile phone. So, users' basic characteristics that must be considered in the user interface design of mobile phone were studied through two experiments, questionnaire survey and user testing.

In spite of user's participation affecting the success of the MIS project, many empirical studies, however have led to inconsistent results. This research was conducted to find the factors affecting user's participation, and the relationships between user's participation and MIS performance. To identify these problems, 43 systems operated with MIS among industries were surveyed based upon questionnaires and the personal interviews. The major findings of this study are as follows: First, the main factors affecting the user's participation out to be the MIS manager's attitude, the user manager's expectation, the MIS education and the character of user's task among 28 factors and these factors are different from stage to stage in MIS development. Second, each MIS development stage shows the different relationship between user's participation and MIS performance.
