차 대 보행자 충돌 시 사고해석 모델 개발 (Development of Accident Analysis Model in Car to Pedestrian Accident)

  • The fatalities of pedestrian account for about 21.2% of all fatalities at 2007 year in Korea. To reconstruct exactly the accident, it is important to calculate the throw distance of pedestrian in car to pedestrian accident. The frontal shape of SUV vehicle is dissimilar to passenger car and bus, so the trajectory and throw distance of pedestrian by SUV vehicle is not the same of passenger car and bus. The influencing on it can be classified into the factors of vehicle and pedestrian, and road factor. It was analyzed by PC-CRASH for simulation, and SPSS s/w was used for regression analysis. From the simulation results, the maximum impact energy of multi-body of pedestrian was occurred to that of torso body at the same time. And the throw distance increased with the increasing of impact velocity, and decreased with the increasing of impact offset. Also it decreased with the increasing of velocity of pedestrian at accident, and the throw distance of wet road was longer than that of dry road. Finally, the regression analysis model of SUV(Nissan Pathfinder type)vehicle in car to pedestrian accident was as follows; $$disti_i=-0.87-0.11offseti_i+0.69speed_i-4.27height_i+0.004walk_i+0.63wet_i+{\epsilon}_i$$.

  • LMTT(Linear Motor based Transfer Technology) is a new type of transfer system used in the maritime container terminal fur the port automation, and largely consists of a controller, shuttle car, and rail. The shuttle car is divided into the frame part, the driving part, and wheels. In order to design this system, various researches on each part of it must be conducted. In this study, we dealt with the optimum design for the frame part of the shuttle car designed from previous studies on the strength of the frame with respect to the number of cross beams to minimize the weight of the shuttle car and to satisfy design criteria of cargo-handling systems in container terminal. For the optimization of the frame, thicknesses of each beam were adopted as design variables, the weight of the frame as objective function, and stress and deflection per unit length as constraint condition.

  • In the present work, the practical thermal design process of 1 DIN car DVD receiver described. In the course of its efficient design, CAE technique was essentially used. CAE technique has reduced research period, man power and material cost but has increased research convenience, organized results and persuasive power. CAE technique helped to study parameters such as vent, fan and heat sink. Using these elements, it tried to meet optimal thermal solution. But safety standard, printed circuit board and framework mechanism should be considered as the constraint. To overcome these constraints, we tried to communicate and compromise with projectors in charge. After all, the price of those efforts has made the most competitive heat sink for heat dissipation in the 1 DIN car DVD receiver market. Moreover, we are trying to save $3 per product by removing fan. This paper is supposed to show an example of the CAE technique and help thermal designers to make electronic packaging goods.

운전자 설문을 통한 자동차 운전자의 실수 확률 추정 (Estimation of Car Driver Error Probabilities Through Driver Questionnaire)

  • Car crashes are the leading cause of death for persons of every age. Specially, human-related factor has been known to be the primary causal factor of such crashes than vehicle-and environmental-related factors. There are various studies to analyze driver's behavior and characteristics in driving for reducing the car crashes in many areas of car engineering, psychology, human factor, etc. However, there are almost no studies which analyze mainly the human errors in driving and estimate their probabilities in terms of human reliability analysis. This study estimates the probability of human error in driving, i.e. driver error probability. First, fifty driver errors are investigated through DBQ (Driver Behavior Questionnaire) revision and the error likelihoods in driving are collected which are judged by skillful drivers using revised DBQ. Next, these likelihoods are converted into driver error probabilities using the results that verbal probabilistic expressions are changed into quantitative probabilities. Using these probabilities we can improve the warning effects on drivers by indicating their driving error likelihoods quantitatively. We can also expect the reduction effects of car accident through controlling especially dangerous error groups which have higher probabilities. Like these, the results of this study can be used as the primary materials of safety education on drivers.

미분무 소화시스템을 이용한 철도차량 실물화재 진압실험 (Fire Suppression Tests for a Train Using Water Mist Systems)

  • 미분무 소화시스템을 이용하여 철도차량 내부 화재진압 실험을 수행하였다. 실험차량은 실물 철도차량이며, 화재시나리오는 표면화재 1종, 유류화재 1종, 그리고 미분무 소화시스템에 의한 화재 공간 내의 공간 냉각 능력을 조사하기 위한 차폐화재 1종 등 총 3종이었다. 실험에 사용된 소화시스템은 6종으로, 일정압력을 가지는 소화시스템 5종, 질소가압 압력용기로부터 분사되는 소화시스템 1종이다. 실험 결과 미분무 소화시스템이 철도 차량 내부의 화재를 효과적으로 소화시키거나, 소화가 되지 않더라도 우수한 공간 냉각 능력으로 화재 피해를 최소화할 수 있음을 알았다.

고성능 카 오디오 DSP 설정을 위한 GUI와 통신 인터페이스 개발 (Development of GUI and Communition Interface for High Quality Car Audio DSP)

  • 최근의 고성능 카 오디오는 고음질과 다양한 음원입력 신호를 처리하기 위해 전용의 신호처리 칩을 사용하는 추세이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 카 오디오 전용 DSP인 필립스의 SAF7730을 사용한 고성능 카 오디오 설계시에 유용하게 사용할 수 있는 개발 도구를 제작하였다. 이 개발 도구는 윈도우 운영 체제에서 동작하는 설정 GUI프로그램과 통신 인터페이스 보드로 구성되어 있다. 설정 GUI프로그램은 사용자가 SAF7730에 내장된 신호처리 기능의 설정을 손쉽게 할 수 있도록 구성되어 있으며, 통신 인터페이스 보드는 설정 프로그램과 SAF7730간의 통신 프로토콜 및 데이터 포맷의 변환을 처리하도록 제작하였다. 본 논문에서 개발한 시스템은 실제 상품화된 카 오디오 설계에 적용되어 그 유용성을 입증하였다.

리튬배터리와 관련된 차량화재 사례 및 원인조사 기법 분석 (Analysis of Car Fire Cases Related to a Lithium Battery and Cause Investigation Technique)

  • 차량의 내비게이션과 블랙박스의 보조배터리로 리튬배터리가 사용되고 있어 리튬배터리와 관련된 차량화재가 발생하고 있다. 발화개소 내에 리튬배터리가 있을 때, 리튬배터리에서 발화된 것인지 화재로 인해 리튬배터리가 피해를 입은 것인지를 판별하는 화재조사 기법이 정립되어 있지 않다. 이 논문에서는 리튬배터리와 관련된 차량화재 사례들을 소개하고, 리튬배터리의 화재발생 원인을 분석하며, 리튬배터리에서 발화된 것인지 외부에서 발화된 후 리튬배터리가 화재로 인한 피해를 입은 것인지를 객관적으로 판별할 수 있는 화재조사기법을 제안하고 있다.

  • 최근 자동차 산업의 활성화로 운전자 보조시스템에 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있으며, 그 중 AVM 시스템(Around View Monitoring System)에 대한 연구 및 개발이 활발해지고 있다. 기존 AVM 시스템은 차량 주변 상황을 실시간으로 제공하기 위해 임베디드 시스템 또는 SoC(System on Chip)의 형태로 개발되었다. 그러나 Car PC가 차량에 장착되어 있으면 AVM 시스템을 추가의 비용이 없이 소프트웨어만으로 시스템을 개발할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 Car PC 기반의 AVM 시스템 기능에 위치 정보 기능인 위도, 경도, 속도 기능을 추가하여 위치정보를 제공하는 AVM 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 구현한 위치 정보를 제공하는 AVM 시스템에 저장 기능을 추가하면 AVM 블랙박스 시스템으로 활용될 수 있다.

실시간 재배치를 통한 카쉐어링 서비스 최적화에 관한 연구 : PSO 방법론 기반으로 (The Optimization of One-way Car-Sharing Service by Dynamic Relocation : Based on PSO Algorithm)

  • Recently, owing to the development of ICT industry and wide spread of smart phone, the number of people who use car sharing service are increased rapidly. Currently two-way car sharing system with same rental and return locations are mainly operated since this system can be easily implemented and maintained. Currently the demand of one-way car sharing service has increase explosively. But this system have several obstacle in operation, especially, vehicle stock imbalance issues which invoke vehicle relocation. Hence in this study, we present an optimization approach to depot location and relocation policy in one-way car sharing systems. At first, we modelled as mixed-integer programming models whose objective is to maximize the profits of a car sharing organization considering all the revenues and costs involved and several constraints of relocation policy. And to solve this problem efficiently, we proposed a new method based on particle swarm optimization, which is one of powerful meta-heuristic method. The practical usefulness of the approach is illustrated with a case study involving satellite cities in Seoul Metrolitan Area including several candidate area where this kind systems have not been installed yet and already operating area. Our proposed approach produced plausible solutions with rapid computational time and a little deviation from optimal solution obtained by CPLEX Optimizer. Also we can find that particle swarm optimization method can be used as efficient method with various constraints. Hence based on this results, we can grasp a clear insight into the impact of depot location and relocation policy schemes on the profitability of such systems.

Therapeutic Efficacy of Extracts from Root of Acnthopanax Sessiliflorus as Anti-cancer Drug ; in vivo and in vitro Study

  • The cortex and root of Acnthopanax sessiliflorus, a herbal medicine, have been used for several diseases including cancer in Oriental countries. In the previous study, we showed that the cortex of this plant have anti-cancer activity. But its therapeutic efficacy of CORTEX ACANTHOPANAX RADICIS (CAR) is not clarified. For these reasons, we investigated immuno-potentiating and anti-cancer properties of CAR compared with CA, in terms of body and tumor weights, proliferation of thymocytes and tumor cells, and nitric oxide production from macrophages through in vitro and in vivo studies. In our results, administration of CAR reduced tumor mass and increased body weights. CAR also inhibited proliferation of tumor cells in vivo and in vitro dose-dependently. Thymocyte proliferation was accelerated by treatment with CAR and NO production was also promoted by CAR in vivo and vitro. In conclusion, we demonstrated that CAR is useful to treat for cancer as complementary or alternative medicine to Western medication, its therapeutic efficacy is involved in direct inhibition of tumor growth and immuno-potentiating activity.
