  • The purpose of this study is to suggest ways to reduce plastic use, one of the main culprits of environmental pollution around the world. Recently, the use of disposable cups at a domestic cafe has not been effective due to growing the number of stores and cafe in various brands. Cafes recommend the use of tumblers as a solution to the problem, but actual there are not many users in cafe. I need to investigate the problems of tumbler use and individual opinions through the first phase is FGI (Focus Group Interview). In the second phase, I investigate similar services, which are currently implemented in domestic and overseas, as a case study. The results showed that although similar services are offered in domestic, the focus is on tumbler sharing, which is somewhat insufficient for convenience provided when using cafes. Through this study, I hope to provide convenience and voluntary environmental protection by proposing a plan to activate Tumbler sharing services for cafe and users.

  • This research empirically tested the mediating role of customer emotion on the relationship between customer tumbler experience and social legitimacy. For this purpose, data were collected by surveying consumers who use tumblers. Structural equation model analysis was used for hypothesis testing, and the method proosed by Hoyle and Smith was used to additionally test the mediating effect of customer experience and social legitimacy. The empirical analysis results are as follows. First, customer experience has a positive effect on customer emotion and social legitimacy. Second, customer emotion has a positive effect on social legitimacy. This study proposes a exploratory relationship among customer tumbler experience, customer emotion, and social legitimacy and empirically shows that customer experience and customer emotion are identified as antecedents to social legitimacy.

  • Recently, interest in the environment and well-being is increasing due to changes in people's level of consciousness. Accordingly, it is trying to reduce disposable products, and interest in "water diet" is increasing as a way to maintain a healthy body. Many people use portable tumblers to drink water or drinks, and in particular, recently, they have evolved into a smarter form that provides various functions to increase user convenience. Existing studies have limited drinks to "water," so there is a limit to monitoring various drinks. To solve this problem, this paper produced a smart tumbler that can judge drinks using IoT technology and monitor the intake of drinks. In addition, it became possible to measure the intake more accurately by judging the case of throwing away the beverage without drinking it. Based on the data of various IoT-based sensors, the user can identify the intake amount of each drink in a dedicated application and receive various conveniences.

  • Iron-bearing dust which stems from steelworks were pelletized and bonded with portland cement in order to attempt to use for blast iurnace burdens. The characterist~cs of cold bonded dust pellet were investigated. It was found that the compression strength of cold bonded pellet contaning portland cement of 10 wt.% reached above 150kg/p by proper curing treatment. Direcl contad of carbon with iron oxides seems to greately enhance a reduction reaction and herewxth increased chances to lorn pores at high temperature environment. Tumbler strength, RDI, and swelling of cold bonded pellet were similiar to and/or better than those of iron ore sinter and fired pellet.
