제주지역 청소년수련시설의 공간구성적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of the Space Composition of the Youth Facilities in Jeju)

  • In recent years, many municipal governments have planned and developed welfare programs for their communities. Many of these plans have included youth facilities. However, many of these facilities have had problems keeping up with the rapidly changing needs of young people. Therefore this study aims to analyze the present State of youth facilities, their operating programmes and changing aspect of the space composition. This has significance in suggesting basic materials for planning youth facilities with the spacial characteristics corresponding to their purpose and function as exclusive space for the youth. In our case study, we limited the subjects to the local youth facilities within the daily life area of Jeju, 3 youth facilities and 15 youth culture centers. The results from the case study are as follow. Firstly, in the case of youth culture center, most of the lots are small-sized and they don't show proper space allocation according to activity. Secondly, in the recently-built youth facilities, the cultural space has been expanded rather than the space for public use. Thirdly, it is necessary to formulate the conception of youth culture center and the value in its function and role.

  • The old couple household is also growing up with the growth of the aged so this is problem that needs to consider the home welfare service aspect. Otherwise, by the decrease of the number of the child and facilities' space availability, the government searching for proper usage of that kind of space in terms of financial and administration. So this study have combining of elementary school and home care for the aged facility especially for the increase of home care for the aged service facilities and improvement of using elementary school's space. That will increase the elderly cares and have need the homewelfare-service in the future, we select study elderly welfare facilities. We use analysis that analyze the trend of an elderly and social changes and conclude for the complexation of elderly welfare facilities, compound form of an elementary school, traffic line, space organization and interaction space organization.

초고층 주상복합 건물 거주자와 입주예정자의 공유공간 관리에 대한 태도 비교 (Attitude Differences on Common Space Management between Expecting Residents and Residents in High Rise Mixed-use Residential Building)

  • The purpose of this study was testing the attitude differences on common space management between expecting residents and residents in high rise mixed-use residential buildings(MURB). Research method was social survey with questionnaire from 176 residents and 67 expecting residents by snow balling sampling. Research results were 1)residents want mostly 'convenience', but expecting residents want mostly 'amenity' from MURB environment 2)residents and expecting residents showed statistically significant attitude differences on willingly to pay, amount to pay and paying method about common spaces & facilities. 3)above two groups showed statistically significant difference on opening the common spaces & facilities to the community. 4)residents showed higher than expecting residents on impact degree of common spaces & facilities to neighborhood intimacy. 5)most of residents and expecting residents had an idea of 1-2 hour per week volunteer service at common spaces & facilities. Conclusively, survey on expecting residents's opinion might be needed to enhance the usability of common spaces and facilities in MURB. After the residents moving in, periodical evaluation about usability of each spaces & facilities needed to remodel common spaces.

  • In order to cope with the demands of the rapidly changing society, advanced countries enrolled in OECD have been establishing corresponding directions as integrating their fields in economy, society, and education as one system. To be a part of the international changes, Korea has presented "Mixed-Use of schools and community facilities." "Mixed-Use of schools and community facilities" enables schools to expand necessary facilities, which were not secured due to insufficient budget, through community funding. Communities could not secure enough convenient facilities because they did not have enough sites for the facilities; however, school sites have made the communities possible to have facilities. As a result, the demand for "Mixed-Use of schools and community facilities" has increased. Therefore, this study redefines the concept of the Mixed-Use of School Facilities in the perspective of the main users, researches the current state of the Mixed-Use of School Facilities through case studies in Korea, and intends to research preferences of the synthesis through surveys. In addition, the study proposes the proper size and the standard of the facilities that are possible to synthesize them with schools. In the future, in running this Mixed-Use of School Facilities business, the data from this study can be utilized.

공간관리 현황조사를 통한 대학시설관리방안에 관한 연구 - 국립대학의 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on the Facility Management Method through Actual Condition of Space Management - Based on the National University)

  • To enhance the administrational efficiency and for university facility and space management to be public, this research suggests a competent and an objective evaluation system and index. The study will assist national and university finances to contribute towards advanced education. Furthermore, figure out the space management condition of national university by utilizing the evaluation system, and through that suggesting efficient special management method. According to the result of this study, evaluation system for university facility can be widely divided into seven categories; system preparation, members conference, propriety of space allocation, propriety of management system, space use ratio, time control of space use, imposition index of surplus use. Based on these subdivisions, the space management category contains 19 evaluation items and the marking system allows perfect score of 100 points. In result of examining space management condition using the evaluation system, space management was well enforced in research focused university group where as in education centered university group, it shows relatively low enforcement. It also illustrated that efforts of evaluation items were required in categories of imposition index of surplus use and special use ratio in order for efficient space management.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the method on improving the frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities and to evaluate relation between improving the frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities and improving the sense of community in apartments. The research subjects of this study is the four public lease apartments which is built around same period with same design guide. The survey method is a questionnaire survey, a experimental study, focus group interview, an analysing drawing. The result of study is as follows. The first, the frequency of use and satisfaction rate have been effected by the operation management system as well as the physical circumstance. The second, The frequency of use and satisfaction rate of the community facilities have had positive correlation with sense of community. The third, multimedia room and conference room with low usability need to change a multipurpose space such as cafe, classroom for learning on artistic topic with high demand from occupant. Finally, a mindset shift is required for architects to inspire community facilities as an important mediated space improving the sense of community by suggesting spaces for leisure and hobby activities.

도시근린공원의 공간구성분석 및 이용자실태에 관한 연구 - 녹지 및 잔디공간을 중심으로 - (A Study on the User's Actual Condition and Analysis of Spatial Organization on the Urban Park - Focusing on Lawn and Green areas -)

  • There have been continuous studies about urban parks since 1971 until now. However, there was neither deep analysis of park space nor research about green areas and lawn space. Below is the summary of the main results obtained based on the analysis of the problems with the spatial structure and park facilities of 8 examinatory parks. The analysis of use pattern revealed that lawns in green areas are becoming almost unusable spaces. Therefore plans for more active utilization of lawn space is necessary. There were high correlations among unnecessary and necessary factors of park, use of green areas and the reasons for not using it; thus the analysis suggested that other plans be considered for utilization of lawn space in oder to obtain stronger efficacy. The objective of the present research was to suggest an opinion concerning the improvement of spatial structure of urban parks, by making unusable spaces of parks usable through appropriate park structuring, so that users can utilize more parks. Especially with regard to green areas, the present research has a meaning in that it suggested a method of improving spatial structure by means of green areas desired by users and facilities they can use.

어린이공원 이용행태 조사.분석 - 대구광역시 택지개발지구를 중심으로 - (Servey and Analysis of Use Behavior in Children's Parks - Focused on Housing Development Area in Daegu -)

  • We investigated space establishment and land use of children's parks by studying movement of users in and out of the parks with a questionnaire survey, video and analysis, and then analyzed the characteristics of how the facilities and the space of the parte are used. The results are as follows. First, when considering the character of the facilities of children's parks, entertainment facilities should receive priority followed by those for relaxation and those for convenience. When considering the position of facilities in the parks, because activity spaces may have similar functions to multi-purpose paved spaces, common use of these two spaces should be considered. Entrances and lines of movement should be kept in mind. Second, when considering the surrounding land uses, in case a play facility at a large-sized complex or an elementary school is adjacent, the exercise facilities may be more important, followed by play and rest facilities. In case there is a broad path around the parte, the way in which movement occurs into the central axis should be considered so that the other side of the broad way is not included in the children's play space. Third, proper control of roads adjacent to the parse is needed to protect children from danger.

  • 국내 건설 산업에 있어 공항시설, 체육시설, 집회시설, 판매시설 등에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 무주대공간의 필요성이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 우주대공간 구축에 있어,기존의 PEB(Pre-Engineered Building)구조나 Pipe Truss구조는 span이 커짐에 따라 철재중량이 급격히 증대되고 장스판에는 적용이 어려운 구조적 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 구조방법 중 하나로 Space Frame이 고려되고 있으나 아직 국내에서는 Space Frame에 대한 연구가 미흡하여 그 활용성이 높지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 공사비용, 공사기간, 시공성 등에서 여러 장정을 지닌 Space Frame을 소개하고 무주대공간 구축에 있어 Space Frame을 적용한 사례분석을 통하여 Space Frame의 특징을 조사하고자 하였다. 더 나아가 향후 국내 건설업계에 무한한 발전 가능성을 가진 Space frame의 기본적 특성과 다른 구법들과의 비교를 통해 장점을 확인함으로써 Space Frame에 대한 국내연구를 활성화시키고 향후 실무를 담당하는 현장에서 무주대공간으로서의 Space Frame의 활용을 높이고자 한다.

초등학교시설 복합화 유형 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Architectural Planning of Functional Mixed-use between School Buildings and Community Facilities)

  • This study, as one of the specific suggestions to satisfy the social needs of life long education and to overcome the limitations of the supply of regional facilities, presents plans for the possibility of the mixed-use of educational facilities and regional facilities as the ultimate objective. By focusing on the space composition of the mixed-use facility to execute the roles of the educational establishment actively and efficiently, the purpose is to present the mixed-use methodology in architectural plan on which functions to combine and by how much, when the mixed-use plan of educational facilities. The investigation objects was the 27 elementary schools in Seoul which have undergone mixed-use of educational facilities work as at August, 2007. And each educational facility was classified mixed-use functions and analyzed for the composition form of functions and the characteristics by functions. And for mixed-use facility, form types were derived from the relationship with the school buildings through the analysis on characteristics, strengths and weaknesses of each types were presented by factor-by-factor plan directions of mixed-use facility.
