  • The huge amounts of wastes were produced nowadays. Among the solid waste stream, the waste plastic portion is about 20 % in weight, over 50 % in volume. But the most of waste plastics were incinerated or land filled. Only a bit of waste plastics were recycled and reused. On the view point of current energy crisis, this will be an extravagance of beneficial resource. So we should consider the waste plastics as a beneficial raw material. Also need to develop the field of reusing and recycling of post-consumed plastic. In this context, present paper describes the methodology for enhancing or improving the specific properties by way of using inorganic filler waste. Also develop the product from these post-consumed plastic.

  • The purpose of the study was to investigate middle school students' comprehension about analogies for explaining conceps related to electric current. For the study, 14 seventh grade students and 14 eighth grade students were sampled, and they were divided into two group, one group for implementing pictorial analogies, the other for analogies in words. The subjects are academically high achievers. The conclusion of this study is that the middle school students' comprehension about analogies of electric current is low. So the author of this study suggests that conditions as analog and context of analogy usage should be considered for the use of the analogies.

  • Neural network minimization problems are often conditioned and in this contribution way to handle this will be discussed. It is shown that a better conditioned minimization problem can be obtained if the problem is separated with respect to the linear parameters. This will increase the convergence speed of the minimization. One of the most powerful uses of neural networks is in function approximation(curve fitting)[1]. A main characteristic of this solution is that function (f) to be approximated is given not explicitly but implicitly through a set of input-output pairs, named as training set, that can be easily obtained from calibration data of the measurement system. In this context, the usage of Neural Network(NN) techniques for modeling the systems behavior can provide lower interpolation errors when compared with classical methods like polynomial interpolation. This paper solve of single-variable minimization using neural network.

  • By employing a quasi-3D plate formulation, the present research studies static stability of magneto-electro-thermo-elastic functional grading (METE-FG) nano-sized plates. Accordingly, influences of shear deformations as well as thickness stretching have been incorporated. The gradation of piezo-magnetic and elastic properties of the nano-sized plate have been described based on power-law functions. The size-dependent formulation for the nano-sized plate is provided in the context of nonlocal elasticity theory. The governing equations are established with the usage of Hamilton's rule and then analytically solved for diverse magnetic-electric intensities. Obtained findings demonstrate that buckling behavior of considered nanoplate relies on the variation of material exponent, electro-magnetic field, nonlocal coefficient and boundary conditions.

  • As growing of industrialization and increasing of population, the quantities of waste glasses are rapidly growing in the earth. It cause some problems such as the waste of natural resources and environmental pollution. In this context, recycling waste glass as a material of concrete has a great advantage environmentally and economically. This study is aimed to investigate the effect of load and deflection on fiber reinforced concrete slab model utilizing waste glass by fine aggregates. The flexural strength of the concrete including waste glass increased considerably, as the inclusion rate of steel fiber were increased. And the first crack load, maximum load and energy absorption capacity increased remarkably as the inclusion rate of steel fiber were increased. Therefore, in this study we confirmed the possibility of application for the usage of waste glass to the steel fiber reinforced concrete.

  • Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) has a significant impact on business practices by eliminating paper related adult trails and enabling transactions to be processed at high speed without human intervention. Major advantages advangtages and benefits derived from EDI, however, depend upon the usage of EDI controls. Management must determine whether their investment on EDI controls is appropriate, as the establishment of EDI controls demandds much resources and high skills. This study proposes data envelopment analysis model to identify efficient and inefficient EDI control systems in various context of input (formal and automated EDI controls) and output (EDI implementation and performance). DEA can also determine the factors that are significantly different between efficient and inefficient groups. The model is tested using data collected form EDI adopters.

  • The terms electronic trade, electronic trading and electronic commerce are often used interchangeably, and refer to trading transactions conducted using electronic media. Electronic trade is business-to-business transactions in an industrial context, while electronic commerce refers to retailing and the consumer sector as well as mass marketing. The Electronic trade process is defined as a flow of information (documents) exchanged between enterprises and trade-related firms (shipping companies, foreign exchange banks, forwarders, etc.) in the course of implementing a series of export and import procedures. Electronic trading systems exploit information technology to improve the efficiency of communications and/or to alter the nature of inter-organizational transactions. Many studies exist about the adoption of inter-organizational systems (IOS) and electronic data interchange (EDI), but few focus on electronic trade. The literature on exporting companies's electronic trade adoption and implementation, although extensive, consists mainly of exploratory studies focusing on technological characteristics such as barriers, benefits and usage. The purpose of this study is to broaden this perspective by investigating the environmental, organizational and technological drivers of business-to-business e-commerce adoption.

  • In the context of effective usage of a scarce spectrum resource, emerging wireless communication standards will demand spectrum sharing with existing systems as well as multiple access with higher spectral efficiency. We mathematically analyze the sum throughput of a spectrum sharing space-division multiple access (SDMA) system, which forms a transmit null in the direction of other coexisting systems while satisfying orthogonal beamforming constraints. For a large number of users N, the SDMA throughput scales as log N at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) ((J-1) loglog N at normal SNR), where J is the number of transmit antennas. This indicates that multiplexing gain of the spectrum sharing SDMA is $\frac{J-1}{J}$ times less than that of the non-spectrum sharing SDMA only using orthogonal beamforming, whereas no loss in multiuser diversity gain. Although the spectrum sharing SDMA always has lower throughput compared to the non-spectrum sharing SDMA in the non-coexistence scenario, it offers an intriguing opportunity to reuse spectrum already allocated to other coexisting systems.
